Following the announcement of the results, Eurovision fans questioned "what the hell just happened", agreeing that the UK and Remember Monday "deserved better".

Remember Monday speak out for the first time since Eurovision Grand Final
Following Saturday's Grand Final in Basel, Switzerland, Remember Monday has spoken out about their Eurovision journey and how they have created "memories that will last a lifetime".
The trio said: "Wow – what a ride.
"Three best mates walked onto the world's biggest music stage and came out with a top 10 Jury score, massive streaming numbers, and memories that will last a lifetime.
"Performing at Eurovision was one of the most surreal and emotional moments of our lives.
"The love we've felt from fans, our incredible team, and everyone who streamed, voted, and believed in us has been overwhelming.

'The fact is she loves the BBC and her job but there's only so much external noise anyone is prepared to take. New figures released by the BBC on Tuesday reveal the presenter was awarded a £10,000 increase in her annual salary. It now takes her pay packet to an eye-watering £355,000 - almost double that of her co-host Charlie Stayt. Charlie, 63, has remained in the £190,000 bracket as tensions between the pair are said to be 'rife'. Naga hosts BBC Breakfast on Thursdays to Saturdays with Charlie, while Jon Kay and Sally Nugent anchor the programme from the start of the week. It was previously claimed that the show's staff are feeling increasingly 'uneasy' around Frediani, with the former Head of ITV News accused of 'shaking' a female editor while working on the show. The Mail told how Naga has also been holding discussions with Sky News in an apparent bid to leave the corporation, industry sources have revealed. The Sun revealed that Naga had been hauled in by bosses for bullying a junior member of the team, making a shocking sex gag to another, and had also faced complaints following a clash with Spice Girl Geri Horner. The source added: 'Some workers backed Frediani's tougher, more traditional journalistic approach and think the 'sofites' need thicker skin. But others find him to be a bully and have welcomed the investigation into his behaviour. 'But in a similar way, people are torn on Naga. Some find her to be a passionate advocate of others behind the scenes, whilst others find her to be just as difficult as Fredi. Horror moment 80-year-old woman is '10 feet from death' on Wales' highest mountain
SOS: Extreme Rescues was back on our screens and saw one woman in her 80s make a near-fatal decision as she attempted to climb Snowdon in Wales Tonight's episode of SOS: Extreme Rescues shared the harrowing tale of an 80-year-old woman, Josie, who found herself in a life-threatening situation on Yr Wyddfa, also known as Snowdon, Wales' highest peak. Josie and her husband Trevor, seasoned climbers who ascended Snowdon biannually, encountered a near-fatal experience. The BBC programme, titled Hidden Dangers, featured Josie and Trevor recounting the perilous ordeal they faced. A spine-chilling recording was played during the show, capturing Josie's desperate call to Mountain Rescue: "I'm on Snowdon and I'm stuck. I must have come off the track, and I got lost." She continued, explaining her injuries and growing concern: "I've cut the side of my head but it's only bleeding a bit," and "I'm starting to shiver now, I'm nearly 80," reports Wales Online. Rescue services were promptly dispatched to locate Josie, who was found in a "perilous" position, teetering on a cliff edge, over 100 metres from any trail. One rescuer admitted the difficulty they faced during the search, saying, "We struggled to find her on our first attempt." Trevor expressed his dread during the incident, fearing that Josie had "gone over the edge". He had set out with Josie but chose to turn back due to "horrendous" weather conditions, stating, "I said, 'It's too dangerous'," yet Josie was resolute to continue. "She doesn't like not achieving what she wants to do, she's got her own mind," he explained, highlighting her independent spirit. After waiting for two and a half hours, Trevor, without a mobile phone, made his way down to seek help, admitting, "I was really scared, to be honest, because I know Snowdon's a dangerous place,". Over four-and-a-half hours after her distress call to 999, Josie was eventually located. "I just thought, 'what have I done?'" she reflected. "I thought nobody would find me, nobody." Josie recounted how she tried to follow some individuals down the mountain, but the adverse weather conditions and her struggle to locate the path led to her becoming lost. "I stopped and looked down and thought, good God, it's nearly 3,000 feet down there," she expressed. "I thought, I'd never get back up." Following Josie's rescue, one of the volunteers ominously stated: "She was 10 feet from death." "Your age is only a number, it's how you feel," she added, receiving commendation for her fitness during the climb. Trevor was able to rendezvous with Josie at the base, leaving him immensely relieved that she was safe. After an agonising 10 hours, Josie was finally reunited with her husband, who confessed: "I broke down, I was that relieved."
