The pair sparked speculation about their relationship throughout the press tour for The Naked Gun reboot with fans pre-emptively deciding that they must be more than just good friends.
However, neither of the actors have indicated that they are romantically involved with one another but People's source insists that they are currently 'enjoying each other's company'.
Liam and Pamela have been full of compliments for each other on the press tour and so far have done well to brush off the series of questions from interviewers about their relationship status.
Appearing on The Today Show in the US, the pair were put under the spotlight by host Craig Melvin.
He asked: 'There's clearly chemistry on display throughout this film. Are you two an item?'
Pamela jokingly deflecting the question by saying: 'What? I don't understand the question.'

Meanwhile, Liam gave away a bit more as he said: 'I had never met Pamela before, we met on set and we have a lovely budding chemistry as two actors.
'And it was like, 'Oh this is nice, let's not mould this, let's just let it breathe' and that's what we did.'
Craig pushed a bit further by asking: 'So we're watching the beginning of the breathing of a budding relationship?'
In response, Liam just simply 'stirred the pot' with his hands.
As they were getting announced on the show, the duo played into the rumours by pretending to be caught kissing by the cameras.
At the New York premiere of their movie on Monday, both Liam and Pamela were joined by their two sons on the red carpet and all six of them posed for a group photo.
Pamela's sons, Brandon and Dylan, are shared with her ex-husband Tommy Lee whom she divorced in 1998.
Meanwhile, Liam's sons Micheál and Daniel are from his marriage with Natasha Richardson, who passed away in 2009 after a skiing accident in Quebec.

‘I think about the concert every day' – Oasis fans splurge at Dublin pop-up store as merchandise prices revealed
With less than two weeks until Liam and Noel Gallagher arrive in Ireland, there were long queues of fans waiting to enter the store on Bank Holiday Monday to buy the official merchandise of the Oasis Live '25 tour. Located at 133 St Stephen's Green, at the former site of The Well pub, the store will remain open until August 17. In the store, fans can get Oasis t-shirts, ranging in prices from €40 to €55, exclusive vinyls from €40 to €50, hoodies from €75, tote bags for €25, bucket hats for €30, or various Oasis posters for €12. There is also a special Adidas x Oasis collaboration available in the store, with hoodies ranging in prices from €65 to €80, and t-shirts for €55. Sam Hurley from Dún Laoghaire, who was leaving the store with his new Oasis bucket hat, said he's "so excited" to go to the Saturday date in Croke Park. "I'm so excited, I'm even worried about when it's gonna be over, what I'm going to do. I think about it every day," he told the Irish Independent. He said "it was a bit surreal" when he found out the Oasis were getting back together for a comeback tour. After visiting the pop-up store, he said: "It's good to see people getting all the merch in, everyone wearing the t-shirts. I've seen [the videos of] the gigs, everyone's wearing the same stuff, it feels like everyone's together." "Looking forward to [the concert]. Can't wait," he said. Anne-Marie Burns and Alan Rice from Dublin, who were also successful in securing tickets for the Saturday night, came out of the store with a few Oasis t-shirts. "It was great, we came in to get some t-shirts and nice little things for the concert," Ms Burns said. An Oasis fan of 25 years, Mr Rice said he "was lucky" to get the tickets for the gig and it was "amazing" to see the band reuniting for the tour. "I actually was lucky [with getting tickets]. I got into the ballot the night before. Still wasn't guaranteed, but delighted to have got them. I'm absolutely delighted." Josh Flynn and Ava Guiden from Waterford said they are "delighted" to head to the Sunday concert. Mr Flynn, who has been an Oasis fan for a long time, said he "grew up with their music" and his father is a "huge fan" of the band. He said the prices of the merchandise in the store were "alright", adding he "thought they were going to be worse". They bought a some t-shirts and two posters in the store. Meanwhile, Tiernagh McManus from Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh, who has been an Oasis fan for a long time, was "disappointed" not to get tickets for any of the concerts. "I tried my hardest to get me and my family tickets, and I was online for hours before they even went on sale, and couldn't get them. "[The pop-up store] was class. I definitely recommend people to go in. The atmosphere in there with the music was really good." Oasis will hit the Croke Park stage on Saturday, August 16, and Sunday, August 17.

Oasis dedicate song to ‘people who can't be here tonight' at Wembley gig
Oasis dedicated Live Forever to 'all the people who can't be here tonight' during their Wembley Stadium gig on Sunday, after a fan fell to his death at the band's concert on Saturday. The touching moment came as the Manchester band brought to a close their first run of five gigs at the venue as part of their Live 25 tour. A man in his 40s was pronounced dead at the scene at the stadium on Saturday after being 'found with injuries consistent with a fall'. Addressing fans on Sunday night after finishing Whatever, singer Liam Gallagher said: 'This one's for all the people who can't be here tonight, but who are here if you know what I mean, and aren't they looking lovely. Live Forever.' The band then played the track of the same name. The tribute came during a crowd-pleasing set packed with their biggest hits such as Cigarettes And Alcohol, Wonderwall and Don't Look Back In Anger, with the group set to return to the national football stadium for two further dates in September. Liam and Noel Gallagher arrived on stage hand-in-hand, opening with Hello, from their 1995 album (What's The Story) Morning Glory?, prompting mass football terrace-style singalongs for an opening salvo of fan favourites that included Acquiesce, Some Might Say and Morning Glory. Before Roll With It, Liam joked to the crowd that guitarist Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs wanted to sing Bonehead's Bank Holiday, an album track from (What's The Story) Morning Glory? During 1994 standalone single Whatever, the band made a nod to their Beatles influence by including a snippet of Octopus's Garden, from 1969's Abbey Road album. Oasis fans on Wembley Way (Lucy North/PA) Before Half The World Away, Noel asked the crowd if there was anyone from Manchester in the crowd, receiving a number of boos. He replied: 'None of you would be here if it wasn't for the city of Manchester.' The set climaxed with fireworks erupting over Wembley as the band played Champagne Supernova. Before the final song, Liam told the crowd: 'Nice one for putting up with us after all these years.' The run of concerts has been the first time they have appeared together onstage at the London venue since July 12 2009, when they performed during the Dig Out Your Soul tour. After the first part of their Wembley stint, the band will head to Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium followed by Dublin's Croke Park. The group will head to Japan, South Korea, South America, Australia and North America later in the year. Oasis announced their reunion tour in August last year, 16 years after their dramatic split in 2009 which saw Noel quit following a backstage brawl at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris.

Liam Neeson reveals: Pammie won me over with her lovely muffins
Screen star Liam Neeson has told how Pamela Anderson won him over with her muffins on the set of their new movie. The pair are reportedly enjoying a beautiful romance, which friends have insisted is not just for the cameras. Speaking on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in the US, Antrim man Neeson, 73, revealed his co-star likes to cook, and adores baking 'sourdough loaves and bran muffins, which I love'. Colbert joked: 'Fibre is always exciting. That's intimacy co-ordination right there!' Pamela Anderson as Beth and Liam Neeson as Frank in The Naked Gun. Pic: Paramount Pictures Neeson also admitted his character's bum, shown in a love scene with former Baywatch beauty Ms Anderson, 58, isn't his. He quipped: 'I wish I could say it was mine. It's not. It's in the contract.' He added: 'There's a threesome and an intimacy co-ordinator who [helped with the scene]. But Pamela and I knew what to do. But the third [person] was a first.' The movie's opening scene sees Neeson wearing a short tartan school skirt with white and pink love-heart knickers. On the show, Neeson also confirmed he was 'approached' to play action hero James Bond along with 'other actors'. (Photo by Alan Chapman/Dave Benett/WireImage) The Ballymena native is known for his roles in blockbuster movies Michael Collins, Schindler's List, the hit franchise Taken and Love Actually. The Academy Award nominee winner also surprised viewers of the hit TV show Derry Girls when he appeared in a hilarious cameo role. The Naked Gun original came out in 1988 with Leslie Nielsen. Neeson stars as Frank Dreben Jr in the reboot while Ms Anderson plays Beth Davenport. The father-of-two added that he was asked four years ago if he would be interested in the role. Pretending to be on the phone, he re-enacted the moment he was told how much he'd be paid, saying: 'How much? Okay, I'll be there.' He added: 'I knew the script was going to be good and it became better. Funnier and stupider.' Romance rumours have been spreading online about the pair for a while. Ms Anderson has been married five times, while Neeson's wife, actress Natasha Richardson, died 16 years ago in a skiing accident, aged 45.
