Hurry! The 27 best Amazon Prime Day TV deals are about to disappear
This Prime Day may have been longer, but it was pretty similar to the rest, as sets from industry titans including Samsung, LG and Sony hit prices that were a lot more palatable than before. I even found Amazon deals on my two favorite Roku devices, in case all you need to do is replace the OS on your existing TV.
For those looking for a special kind of TV, I've got a whole section on art TVs, such as Samsung's The Frame. Prime Day is also the perfect time to find great savings on OLED TVs, which are among the best TVs due to their color and contrast. So, without any further preamble, here are the best on TVs and streaming devices worth your time and money.
TCL 75-Inch Class QM7K Series 4K Smart TV
With a whopping $1,000 discount, TCL's QLED TV might be the best deal we've found. Not only does it come with smart TV features, but it also boasts a super-bright 4K picture for easy daytime viewing.
Hisense 55-Inch U6 Mini-LED 4K TV
Widely revered for its contrast and HDR color, this Hisense TV does very well for a non-OLED TV, and Amazon's got the best price we've ever seen with this $352-off deal.
Insignia 50-Inch Class F50 Series 4K Fire TV
Best Buy's Insignia brand is even getting in on the Prime Day shenanigans, with this 50-inch 4K Fire TV hitting a new low of $170 ($10 lower than it was a couple of days ago) for Prime members, for a whopping 43% off.
Amazon 75-Inch Fire TV Omni QLED
Need a new TV on a budget? Amazon's custom-built Fire TV — complete with smart home integration and advanced HDR — has hit its lowest price ever at nearly 50% off.Read our review
Roku 75-Inch Pro Series 4K QLED TV
With respectable specs and built-in fine art backdrops, the Roku Pro Series is another wallet-friendly Frame alternative that will hang flush against your wall. This is the cheapest recorded price ever.Read our review
Hisense 75-Inch U8N Mini-LED Smart Google TV
This 75-inch version of our favorite midrange TV is currently $200 off, and about $160 shy of its all-time low price. Our testing showed it offers solid brightness, color and contrast, and it's an even bigger steal at this price.Read our review
Sony 85-Inch Bravia 5 Mini-LED TV
Sony releases its new TVs in the spring, which makes Prime Day the best chance at saving big on its latest sets. For example, this super-bright Sony Bravia 5 TV is currently $502 off, for its lowest price yet.
Toshiba 85-inch Class C350 Series LED 4K TV
While this budget-oriented model might not be able to compete with top-of-the-line OLED counterparts, 85 inches is a lot of TV for $600. Plus, you get all the features you'd expect from a basic smart TV, including Alexa integration.
Amazon 43-Inch 4-Series Smart Fire TV
Of all Amazon's inexpensive 4-Series Smart TVs, the 43-inch model is seeing the biggest discount, dropping it to a new low price. Sure, you won't get any bells and whistles beyond Alexa integration, but that's OK at this sub-$300 price point.
Insignia 32-Inch Class F20 Series LED HD Smart Fire TV
I'm not gonna lie: You're not going to want this 720p TV in your living room. The picture quality isn't good enough, and it's way too small to watch from the couch. But it's cheap enough discounted that it might make a useful secondary TV for your guest room, kitchen or college dorm.
Samsung 55-Inch The Frame TV (2024)
CNN Underscored editors and readers agree that Samsung's The Frame is worth checking out if you want your TV to double as a work of art when you're not watching anything. Amazon's currently got the 55-inch model at its best price ever, while Samsung and Best Buy have it for $2 more.Read our review
Samsung 75-Inch The Frame TV (2024)
If you have a larger wall to fill, however, you need to check out this deal that takes a huge chunk out of the 75-inch The Frame's price and brings it a few hundred bucks shy of its all-time-low.Read our review
Samsung 65-Inch The Frame Pro 4K Neo QLED Smart TV
While Samsung's regular art TV is a popular model, its new The Frame Pro impressed the heck out of me with improved picture quality when I spent time with it earlier this year. And right now it's $300 off, which is a mere $50 more than the best I've ever seen.Read our review
Hisense 55-Inch CanvasTV
This alternative to Samsung's The Frame is even cheaper, and our own editorial director Chelsea Stone is a fan. She just installed the 65-inch model in her apartment, but that model is $100 more than its lowest price. This 55-inch model is the better deal, currently at its record low!
TCL 55-Inch 4K NxtVision TV (2024)
Those who prefer TCL over Hisense, though, have their own art TV option, and this set offers Dolby Atmos, the dimensional audio standard Hisense's CanvasTV doesn't. This is a new record-low price, $11 lower than the previous low.
LG B4 48-Inch 4K OLED Smart TV
OLED TVs tend to be more expensive, but they don't have to be, especially if you're willing to trade down to a smaller size. Case in point: LG's lauded B4 Series TV is $150 off at Best Buy, and it comes with a smoother 120Hz refresh rate, AI upscaling and smart features.
Sony 48-Inch Bravia XR A90K OLED TV
This Sony OLED TV with Dolby Vision and Atmos support, plus HDMI 2.1 and PS5 gaming features, is at its lowest price ever for Prime Day with this $401 discount.
LG 65-Inch C4 OLED Evo Smart TV
As an LG C2 owner who still loves his set, I can attest to the quality of LG's C-series TVs that provide great contrast, deep black tones and solid color, and that's why looking at the 2024 version of LG's OLED TV instead of the 2025 model is a good idea. In Prime Day's final hours, it has seen another price cut on Amazon.
LG 55-Inch Evo C5 OLED TV
LG's latest C-series OLED TV impressed me with its brightness and color output at CES 2025, and it's currently $523 off at Amazon, which is the lowest price we've seen.
Panasonic 65-Inch Z85 Series OLED 4K TV
I was impressed by the Z85's mix of brightness and detail when I got to see it last year, but don't let Amazon's $998 list price fool you. I've double-checked the price history, and it's been as high as $1,876, making it $878 off! This is a mere $32 shy of its lowest price ever from earlier this week. Read our review
Samsung 65-Inch S90D 4K OLED TV
This bright Samsung OLED TV may be from 2024, but it's definitely worth checking out at a whopping $550 off its Amazon list price.
Sony 65-Inch Bravia 8 II OLED 4K TV
Sony's one of the more beloved OLED TV makers, so I'm happy to see this $500 discount on one of its latest sets. The deal is technically even bigger, because the set was $1,000 more expensive for its first month on sale. Supplies are running low at Amazon.
Roku Streaming Stick
This 1080p stick makes it easy to add a simple, easy-to-use interface to an older HD TV or one with an OS that you just don't like. And it's currently at its lowest price ever!Read our review
Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K
Don't love your TV's built-in interface? The 4K Fire TV Stick is the streaming device that most people who live within the Amazon (especially Amazon Prime Video) world will probably buy, since it funnels so much of the streaming ecosystem into the home page. Right now this 50%-off discount is nearly the best I've ever seen — a mere $3 shy of its record low.
Roku Streaming Stick 4K
This 30% discount is the best we've seen on our favorite streaming device, which offers snappy performance and a clean interface, in the last six months. It's worth a look even if it's $10 shy of its record low.Read our review
Roku Ultra (2024)
Roku's best standalone streaming device is the one I give my parents every time it gets updated because it's superfast and easy to use. It's currently at a record low price for Prime Day with this $31 discount.Read our review
Microsoft Xbox Wireless Controller Bundle With Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max and 1-Month Game Pass Ultimate
If you don't have a console of your own, this bundle gives you everything to try Microsoft's take on cloud gaming, including a controller and one month of its Game Pass Ultimate subscription. Oh, and you get the fastest Fire TV stick, all in a bundle that costs up to $62 less than the total of its components. All the products on this list are at or near the lowest prices CNN Underscored has ever seen, using price histories available online, along with our own records. Having hunted deals for this long, I know the difference between a new record low, a price that matches the previous low and one that just comes close. More importantly, these are all current TVs and streaming devices, including models we've gone hands-on with or tested ourselves, from Samsung's The Frame to Amazon's Fire TV Stick 4K.
CNN Underscored comprises a team of writers and editors who have many years of experience testing, researching and recommending products, and they ensure each article is carefully edited and products are properly vetted. Tesla implements Grok AI chatbot into vehicles
(KRON) — Tesla owners are used to updating their vehicle's software every few weeks or so. Updates are usually minor and don't generally alter the overall driving experience. However, this latest update might just be a different story. Grok, an artificial intelligence system developed by Tesla CEO Elon Musk, is now available to use with the latest software update, according to emails sent to Tesla owners Monday. Tesla posted a demo video on X of what the Grok integration would look like with the user voice command. Tesla announced on social media Saturday that it would roll out the Grok tool for its vehicles in the United States. The automaker said vehicle owners do not need a Grok subscription to enable the chatbot inside the car. However, not every Tesla owner will be able to have Grok available to them. The AI chatbot will be available to vehicles delivered on or after July 12 or meet the following criteria, according to Tesla. An AMD processor A Model S, Model 3, Model X, Model Y or Cybertruck Vehicle software version 2025.26 Premium Connectivity or Wi-Fi connection This Tesla vehicle continues dominance in CA sales for third straight year Tesla robotaxi service coming to Bay Area 'in a month or two,' according to Musk Emails were sent to Tesla owners on Monday, informing them that their vehicle's latest software update will give them the ability to use the AI system. 'Just ask AI,' the email read. 'Press and hold the voice button on your Tesla vehicle's steering wheel and start talking. Ask Grok for news headlines, information on a topic you're curious about or a story for your kids where they're the main characters,' Tesla wrote in the email. 'To enable, open App launcher on your vehicle's touchscreen and tap Grok. The email sent to Tesla owners comes on the same day Grok landed a nine-figure deal with the United States Department of Defense (DOD). The federal agency's contact with the AI chatbot is worth $200 million. The DOD also awarded competitors, such as OpenAI and Google, a similar contract. Grok is a Musk-backed artificial intelligence tool that is widely seen on his social media app X. Grok's X account has more than 5 million followers. 'Grok is your AI companion, an advanced artificial intelligence built by xAI and now, is available in Tesla vehicles,' Tesla said on its website. 'Grok is designed to deliver accurate and insightful responses to questions of a wide range.' More information about Grok and its integration into Tesla vehicles can be viewed on the automaker's website. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved. Netflix, 3M, Schlumberger are part of Zacks Earnings Preview
Chicago, IL – July 14, 2025 – releases the list of companies likely to issue earnings surprises. This week's list includes Netflix NFLX, 3M MMM, Schlumberger SLB. The Q2 earnings season gets going in earnest this week, with almost 100 companies on deck to report results, including 38 S&P 500 members. This week's reporting docket is dominated by the big banks, but we have several bellwethers from other sectors also reporting, like Netflix, 3M, Schlumberger and others. Regular readers of our earnings commentary are familiar with the significant negative estimate revisions trend that we experienced over the last few months. We saw this in estimates for 2025 Q2 as well as for the second half of the year. For 2025 Q2, the expectation is for earnings growth of +4.7% relative to the same period last year on +4% higher revenues. This will be a material deceleration from the growth trend of recent quarters and will be the lowest earnings growth pace since the +4.3% growth rate in 2023 Q3. As we have been consistently flagging, earnings estimates took a renewed hit at the start of Q2, following the early April tariff announcement. This was particularly notable for Q2, but estimates for the following periods also got trimmed. While the revisions trend has notably stabilized in recent weeks, the magnitude of cuts to 2025 Q2 estimates is bigger and more widespread relative to what we have become used to seeing in the post-COVID period. Since the start of April, Q2 estimates have declined for 14 of the 16 Zacks sectors (Aerospace and Utilities are the only sectors whose estimates have gone up), with the biggest cuts to Autos, Energy, Transportation, Basic Materials, and Construction sectors. Estimates for the Tech and Finance sectors, the largest earnings contributors to the S&P 500 index, accounting for more than 50% of all index earnings, have also been cut since the quarter got underway. But as we have been pointing out in recent weeks, the revisions trend for the Tech sector has notably stabilized in recent weeks. We see this same trend at play in annual Tech sector estimates as well. While the tariff uncertainty is far from resolved, the market appears to have learnt to look past it. There is no question that elevated tariffs are a net negative for the economy as well as corporate profitability. But the consensus thought process appears to be that the worst of the issue is behind us, and the final tariff shape will be a lot less problematic than many had factored in at first. What this means for the Q2 earnings season is that expectations are likely too low, setting us up for actual results to be significantly better than expected. We may not get a lot of actual guidance from management teams, given the many unresolved macro questions. But we remain confident that management teams' qualitative commentary on business trends will be largely positive. All in all, the setup for the Q2 earnings season looks very favorable to us. In terms of S&P 500 index 'EPS', these growth rates approximate to $254.07 for 2025 and $287.36 for 2026. A big contributing factor to the negative revisions trend has been the Energy sector, whose estimates have been steadily coming down for a while now. The Energy sector's earnings are currently expected to be down -13.3% in 2025. Excluding the Energy sector, total S&P 500 earnings in 2025 are expected to be up +8.3%. While many in the market will tune in to the Q2 earnings season this week, the reporting cycle has actually been underway already. Through Friday, July 11th, we have seen quarterly results from 21 S&P 500 members already. Total earnings for these 21 index members that have reported results are up +1.3% from the same period last year on +5.8% revenue gains, with 76.2% of the companies beating EPS estimates and 81% of them beating revenue estimates. We are not drawing any conclusions from these results, given how small the sample is at this stage. As noted at the top, the reporting cycle ramps up this week, with 38 index members reporting results. Most of the big banks and brokers are on deck to report results this week, as are bellwethers from other sectors like Netflix, 3M, Schlumberger, and others. Netflix shares have been standout performers lately, with the stock up +39.7% this year, handily outperforming the S&P 500 index's +7% year-to-date gain. The stock was up big following each of the last three quarterly releases, so expectations remain high coming into this release. Schlumberger, the oilfield services leader, is dealing with a downbeat market sentiment. The stock is down -1.2% this year, compared to Halliburton's -13.8% decline and the broader market's +6.9% gain. It is all about the outlook for oilfield activity levels, which in turn is a function of oil prices. BMW Vs. Mercedes U.S. Sales Race: There's A Clear Leader In 2025
BMW Vs. Mercedes U.S. Sales Race: There's A Clear Leader In 2025 originally appeared on Autoblog. With the first half of the year behind us, we have a clearer idea of which manufacturers are leading the 2025 sales race and which ones are struggling. In the luxury segment, we already know that BMW is crushing Audi; the former sold twice as many cars as its rival in the first six months. But what about Mercedes-Benz? We've had to wait a bit longer for Mercedes to post sales, but now it has. While it is performing much better than Audi, Mercedes sales are down in the United States relative to last year, and it's some way off of BMW's numbers. Let's take a closer the USA alone, Mercedes has sold 142,000 cars in the first half of the year, a drop of 6% year-on-year. By comparison, BMW sold 178,499 units and saw a 1.6% increase in sales over the same period. Audi is in a distant third spot, notching up 81,951 units, a drop of 12%. BMW, therefore, is the only one of the three that has been able to grow this year. In terms of van sales in the USA, Mercedes has sold 15,700 of those so far in 2025, a massive 42% drop. "Overall, we see good customer demand in the U.S. and Germany for our products including our Top-End vehicles, despite tariffs impacting our global sales in the second quarter,' said Mathias Geisen, Member of the Board of Management of Mercedes Benz Group AG. Marketing & Sales. It was a better Q2 for Mercedes USA, though, with 74,600 cars sold, an increase of 11% compared to Q1 2025. View the 3 images of this gallery on the original article Unlike BMW and Audi, Mercedes-Benz does not report individual sales per model. The brand only provides broader insights and sales figures, so a direct comparison with its rivals is tricky. The manufacturer pointed out that demand for its top-end models was strong, but did not go into more detail about how much each model sold. This segment includes models like the Mercedes-Maybach S, S-Class, EQS, G-Class, EQS SUV, and high-performance Mercedes-AMG models. Competing models from BMW, such as the 7 Series and X7, are both up in sales in 2025. Mercedes' top-selling car globally is still the GLC, while its stylish new CLE is selling strongly globally, too. Plug-in hybrid sales were up 34% globally in Q2, and in Europe, the share of electrified models hit 40%. Still, Mercedes is 36,499 models adrift of BMW in the first six months in the USA, and at this rate, it's unlikely to steal the luxury crown back from BMW. A lot can happen in six months, though, so we'll keep on eye on how these brands weather the tariff storm. BMW Vs. Mercedes U.S. Sales Race: There's A Clear Leader In 2025 first appeared on Autoblog on Jul 9, 2025 This story was originally reported by Autoblog on Jul 9, 2025, where it first appeared.
