BECOMING A STAR
Christopher started working as a child model, before becoming an actor at the age of eight.
He starred in numerous sitcoms throughout the 80s, before landing his big break as the voice of Prince Eric in the Disney classic movie, The Little Mermaid.
After this he went onto star in The Brady Bunch films, playing young Greg Brady.
Single along with the Little Mermaid in this timeless classic
However, Christopher is perhaps best known by Spider-Man fans for voicing the titular role in the 90s cartoon.
Other annimations he's lent his voice to include Captain Planet and the Planeteers (1990 to 1992), Jackie Chan Adventures (2000 to 2005) and Speckles: The Tarbosaurus (2012).
Christopher also had guest roles in huge shows like Beverly Hills, 90210, The Golden Girls and Malcolm & Eddie.
These days he has focused his attention on being a writer, and regularly publishes short stories.
Away from his career, Christopher married his long-time partner Rebecca Guyadeen in 2012.

Whitney Port responds to claim she 'glorifies an unhealthy body image for girls'

Whitney Port has responded to the notion that she 'glorifies an unhealthy body image' for the young women who follow her. On Sunday the 40-year-old media personality took to Instagram to do an 'ask me anything' session, also known as AMA, with her 1.4 million followers. 'Up before everyone. AMA!' she prompted before answering a fan who inquired, 'Do you think your body glorifies an unhealthy body image for girls?' The mother-of-one, who recently opened up about her five miscarriages, prefaced, 'I totally understand this question, and I appreciate you asking it with care.' She then carefully answered, 'I never want my appearance to make anyone feel like they need to look a certain way - especially young kids.' She said elsewhere in her response, 'I know I'm thin - it's how my body has mostly always been - but that doesn't mean I don't have my own complex relationship with food and body image.' The former Hills star added, 'I continue to work with a nutritionist to help support a healthy relationship with eating and my body, and that journey is ongoing.' Port said she shares her life 'as honestly as I can, but I also recognize how powerful images can be.' She emphasized that 'health and beauty come in so many different forms, and i try to be mindful of that in what I put out into the world.' Finally, she wrote, 'I'm always open to learning and doing better, especially as a mom to a son who's growing up in this same world.' Back in 2023 the High Confectionary creative director admitted to not eating enough. In an episode of her With Whit podcast, she addressed fans' concern that she looked too skinny. 'I do think I'm clearly not eating enough and that how I look right now does not look healthy. It's not how I want to look,' she said candidly. The ex-reality star then asked her fans not to 'worry' and explained she was planning to 'eat thoughtfully' and 'put the right things in (her) body,' as well as 'work out in a way that will build muscle..' Whitney carefully answered, 'I never want my appearance to make anyone feel like they need to look a certain way - especially young kids' The former Hills star told fans, 'I continue to work with a nutritionist to help support a healthy relationship with eating and my body, and that journey is ongoing' In Sunday's AMA, Whitney was also asked about aging, with one person positing: 'How do you embrace getting older?' She once again gave an honest answer, typing, 'Physically, it's been a challenge to look at myself and not judge or expect things to look the way they used to.' 'I started noticing the biggest changes around 38, especially in my skin — some sagging and crepiness — and that's taken some getting used to,' she added. Her response continued, 'Living in LA, where the obsession with staying young is so intense, it's easy to get caught up in it. I'm trying really hard not to let that happen. I want to care without being consume.' And she highlighted the positive side of getting older: 'Emotionally, getting older has felt really good. There's more awareness, more perspective, and a deeper sense of who I am. 'I care less about things that used to take up way too much space in my head — and that part has been such a gift.'

'He is eminently likeable, and has impressed on his outings to date - viewers have also really taken to him which has been clear from social media commentary. 'Wayne will be a key part of next year's World Cup coverage which is a massive coup, and will provide some much-needed expertise on Match of the Day in the wake of Gary's departure.
