'We have a decisive match against Juventus ahead of us, a match which will determine our fate in this competition,' the coach said.
He added that his team must focus on making the game in their favor.
Wydad Casablanca started its campaign with a 2-0 defeat against Manchester City on Wednesday.
Despite the defeat, analysts lauded the Moroccan club for their resilience and defense ahead of the English giant.
Wydad Casablanca is the only Moroccan club taking part in the competition.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) said the Moroccan club showed flashes of their quality in the first half, as well as resilience .
Manchester City's coach, Pep Guardiola, also celebrated Wydad Casablanca for their quality of play.
'When we let them play, they showed quality,' he said, adding that Wydad Casablanca deployed five defenders and a compact block.
