The OnePlus Nord 5 series launched in India on Tuesday which includes the mid-range Nord CE 5 model as well. The new Nord series is using both Snapdragon and MediaTek chipsets, bundling them with an AMOLED display, support for a fast-charging battery that gets an adapter in the box and the OxygenOS version.
OnePlus is also bringing its first Nord phone without the iconic alert slider and replacing it with Plus key that made its debut on the OnePlus 13s model earlier this year.
The price in India starts at Rs 31,999 for the base 8GB + 128GB model going up to Rs 34,999 and Rs 37,999 for the 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB variants, respectively. The Nord CE 5 costs Rs 24,999 for the base variant of 8GB + 128GB, Rs 26,999 if you want the 8GB + 256GB model, and Rs 28,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant. OnePlus will start the Nord 5 sale in India from July 9 and the Nord CE 5 will be available from July 12 in the country.
OnePlus Nord 5 And Nord CE 5 Specifications
The Nord 5 gets a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate while the Nord CE 5 sports a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. The Nord 5 is powered by Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. The Nord CE 5 uses the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Apex SoC with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
Both the Nord phones get the Android 15-based OxygenOS version out of the box with the promise of multiple OS and security updates. The Plus Key unlocks the new OnePlus AI features and other customisations on the Nord 5.
On the imaging front, the Nord 5 has a dual rear camera system which includes a 50MP primary sensor as the OnePlus 13s, and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. The Nord CE 5 also has a 50MP wide sensor along with an 8MP ultra-wide lens. The front of the Nord 5 gets a 50MP shooter, while the Nord CE 5 comes with a 16MP selfie camera.
The other big upgrade comes in the battery department as the Nord 5 packs a 6,800mAh unit while the Nord CE 5 manages to carry an even bigger 7,100mAh unit. Both the devices support 80W fast wired charging. The Nord 5 measures at 8.1mm and weighs 211 grams, while the Nord CE 5 comes at 8.2mm but weighs 199 grams even with a bigger battery on board.

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 prices start from Rs 1,09,999 while the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE model starts at Rs 89,999. Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Z Flip 7 series pre-orders start from July 9 in India and will be available at stores from July 25 in the country. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 Specifications Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 has been promised a refined design upgrade and numbers speak for themselves. When you fold the Z Fold 7, you get a 8.9mm thickness, while the unfolded state gives you 4.2mm in dimensions. More importantly, the Z Fold 7 weighs 215 grams which is significantly trimmed down from the 239 grams on the Galaxy Z Fold 6 model. Now that the design has been the focus for the brand, it is time to look at the screen sizes and the quality on offer. The device is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. The company has managed to bring the new flagship product with the latest One UI 8 version based on Android 16 out of the box. This is a big feat for Samsung, as it manages to launch the new Android flavour before Google brings it with the new Pixel flagships. The new fold will get 7 years of OS upgrades as well as security updates. Next up is the imaging department, where you get a triple camera setup once again but the upgrades are in the sensors. The Z Flip 7 FE gets a 3.4-inch cover display while the main screen comes at 6.7-inch with the Dynamic AMOLED 2x panel. The Z Flip 7 comes at 6.5mm when unfolded and weighs 188 grams. The Z Flip 7 FE is 6.9mm thin and weighs 187 grams. Unlike the Fold 7, Samsung is going with the Exynos 2500 chipset for the Flip 7 and the Exynos 2400 SoC for the Z Flip 7 FE variant. The premium Flip 7 comes with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage, while the Z Flip 7 FE gets 8GB RAM with up to 256GB storage. The back of the Z Flip 7 comes with a dual camera system that consists of a 50MP wide sensor with OIS and a 12MP ultra-wide lens. It has a 10MP selfie camera. The Z Flip 7 FE also has a 50MP wide sensor with OIS and a 12MP ultra-wide lens at the back. Karnataka's US roadshow generates Rs 5,500 crore prospective investments
BENGALURU: In a significant boost to its innovation and technology ecosystem, the state government has wrapped up a 10-day roadshow across the United States, generating prospective investments worth Rs 5,500 crore. These investments are expected to span talent acquisition, infrastructure development, Research and Development, and collaborative ventures, collectively projected to create employment opportunities for more than 7,200 individuals, with further investments actively in the pipeline. Organised by the Department of Electronics, IT and Biotechnology, the roadshow covered Boston, New York, and San Francisco between June 16 and 25. The state-led delegation engaged with over 120 companies, from multinational corporations to startups, visiting leading academic institutions, and hosting roundtables. Several MoUs and Letters of Intent were signed as part of this initiative. The official delegation was led by Dr Ekroop Caur, Secretary at the Department of Electronics, IT/BT, alongside Hoskote MLA and Chairman of KEONICS, Sharath Bachegowda, among others, to highlight Karnataka's dynamic policy framework, deep talent pool, and collaborative potential across sectors including Biotechnology, Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM), and Deep Tech. During the roadshow, the state participated in global conferences. The BIO International Convention in Boston attracted over 20,000 participants from 72 countries to the India Pavilion.
