As the two laughed, Chris added: 'You do have a good hairline, I don't get what's making you laugh.'
JoJo said: 'No, it's making me cry, that's the number one thing I was bullied for as a kid.'
As Chris comforted his girlfriend, she opened up: 'That's destroyed me over the years and you've just said it out of literal nowhere and it was really nice.'
The Love Island star, 32, proceeded to wipe JoJo's tears from her face with a tissue as the couple hugged one another in a sweet embrace.
JoJo, 22, captioned the post: 'He had no idea of the 2017-2020 hairline memes, that I'm not affected by on the daily anymore, but him saying this out of thin air literally finished healing a part of me.
'It's almost like I had a band aid over it for the last 8 years and just was leaving it there, scared to look under to see if it's healed and he removed it being like why do you have this on before I could even explain what it was.'
The reality star concluded her post by gushing: 'Lucky, lucky girl I am. Don't even think I realise how lucky sometimes.'
JoJo's 11.3 million Instagram followers flocked to the comments section to praise the two, with one fan writing: 'Omg, I'm so happy JoJo is getting the love she deserves.'
Another follower said: 'He's so soft with her, it's so cute,' while somebody else penned: 'She's in her healing era, it's so cute.'
A fourth expressed: 'He's legitimately the sweetest guy, he's very sweet on you, I love it. You deserve him so much. You deserve real happiness JoJo.'

The ITV star told E! News: 'She's literally the love of my life, but she's also my best friend. We sit and do nothing together."
The loved-up pair famously met while living together in the Celebrity Big Brother house earlier this year.
The two were thick as thieves, with the rest of their housemates often calling out their behaviour.
Just hours after coming in third-place at the final, JoJo dumped her girlfriend Kath Ebbs at the show's wrap party.
She went public with hers and Kath's relationship in January this year after being introduced to the 27-year-old content creator by mutual friend G-Flip.
After parting ways with Kath, JoJo has been inseparable with Chris ever since, with him flying out to LA to see his ladylove.
