Ahead of Oasis playing Croke Park next month, here are a list of their best songs, filled with snarling guitars and bravado

Are you, or do you know, a 'Wonderwall warrior'? One of the many Gen-Zers who used their ninja-like internet skills to beat drug-muddled original fans to Oasis tickets, despite only knowing their most famous song? Wondering – aloud, online, to much gnashing of teeth by furry-hood-wearing parka dads who missed out – if they have any other good songs you should listen to before you go?
At your service. Oasis, at least up until around 1996 or so, were among Britpop's most brazen purveyors of songwriting excellence, thundering riffs and lyrics made up on the spot about the producer's dog. Their early years produced a veritable deluge of classics that marked them out as one of the top-tier acts in rock history, and they sporadically tapped that same rich seam even after the drugs stopped working.

‘I just know Liam and Noel would hate this' – fans' views on Jedward's rebrand as ‘Joasis' after they unveil Oasis-inspired makeover
The 33-year-old twins, John and Edward Grimes, are known for their positive outlook, love of glitter and sequins, and can be usually seen sporting their trademark bleach blond quiffs. The Gallagher brothers, meanwhile, are known for their fraught relationship and Mod-inspired wardrobes. Jedward surprised fans yesterday when they took to Instagram to unveil their new look. The clips starts with the camera focused on a photograph of Liam and Noel Gallagher, Jedward then launch into a rendition of one of Oasis' biggest hits Wonderwall as they lower the picture, revealing they've been done up to look like the Gallaghers complete with darker hair. 'Joasis' they wrote in the accompanying caption. 'I just know Liam and Noel would hate this and I need to see the reaction,' wrote one person in the comments section. This is not the first time that Jedward have shown their appreciation for Oasis. After the Mancunian band announced last year that they were reforming for their first live shows in 15 years, Jedward did not attempt to hide their delight. They reposted a video of John covering the band's hit Wonderwall with American Pie actress Tara Reid in 2022. In the clip, both singers donned metallic silver outfits as they harmonised on the famous chorus. They captioned the post: 'Celebrating the Oasis reunion.' It remains to be seen whether the Lipstick singers will be turning up at one of Oasis' sold out Wembley Stadium dates after swapping their home village of Rathangan, Co Kildare, for the English capital last summer. Settling on leafy Belsize Park in north-west London, the former X Factor finalists told The Standard of their new life: 'We've never been based in London, we only moved here last June but we've already been enriched in life. 'We're always bumping into Ricky Gervais around here and you went jogging with Harry Styles once with his dog, didn't you, John?'

WWE wrestler spotted wearing League of Ireland jersey
WWE wrestler Sami Zayn has gone viral after he was spotted wearing a Bohemians jersey during a WWE programme. Bohs turned heads internationally with the launch of their new strip, a sky blue jersey with the Oasis logo on it. Today's top videos STORY CONTINUES BELOW While the team won't be wearing the jerseys until the next round of the cup (which coincides with the band's return to Dublin on week ending August 17), that hasn't stopped them from appearing in other spaces; with Canadian pro wrestler Sami Zayn wearing the jersey in a backstage segment. Advertising his match later on in the night against Karrion Kross, Sami walked into the building stoically, but people couldn't help but recognise the jersey. 'Sami Zayn is Bohs,' the league's official account tweeted, while on Twitter (X), people were just as surprised. 'Does Sami zayn have a bohs shirt on??' one tweeted, while another joked that Sami will face Bray wrestler Finn Bálor next Monday on Raw, with Sami wearing that jersey while Finn wears a Bray Wanderers shirt. Pic: Netflix Sami wrestled on the indies for over a decade before signing for WWE, where he is best known for his work on the independent circuit, including in Ring of Honor and Chikara, as El Generico. When he signed for WWE, he began performing as Sami Zayn (El Generico didn't sign as he was busy building orphanages in Mexico), he won the NXT Championship on the company's then developmental brand NXT, before winning the Intercontinental Championship and tag team championship with his best friend and better enemy Kevin Owens. While he hasn't been advertised for when Smackdown comes to Dublin in August, the company has another Bohs fan in the locker room: namely Sheamus, with the Dubliner having previously worn the red and black stripes. Bohs will be wearing the jersey during their cup games, with them being sponsored by Oasis as the band go on their reunion tour. Pic: Bohemian FC The four-time WWE Champion, who was born in Cabra, also appeared on BohsTV in 2016, talking about his favourite memories in Dalymount — including when he was at a friendly match when Bohs lost 2-0 to Manchester United in 1990.
