Salford is the number one city to have having affairs in the UK

The top city to get steamy between the sheets with someone outside their relationship is Salford.
The city, with neighbouring Manchester beat off eighteen other towns and cities to arrive at the top spot and take in all the glory.
The list, revealed by Ashley Madison, saw several new cities enter the top 20 list.

It's not all good news though, despite still being in the top 20 list this year, it's been a bit of a flop for Southampton falling six places to 11

position this year.
A similar tale unfolds in Norwich too, as the city falls nine places to 13

place.
And while there's no sign of any towns or cities in Wales making the cut this year, it's telling that the Scots love a bit of summer lovin' with Edinburgh (16

) and Glasgow (18

) both making their adulterous debuts.

'It's great to see Salford and Manchester claiming their rightful places as the non-monogamous capitals of the UK once again, but our 2025 ranking shows that it's not just the big cities where people are exploring relationships outside of the traditional norm," commented Christoph Kraemer, Managing Director Europe for Ashley Madison.
'We're very happy to see so many additions from smaller locations such as Oxford and Lincoln this time around, indicating that more and more people are looking to release the age-old chains of monogamy and explore their own needs this summer, regardless of where they live'.

Cider City is a celebration of the UK's best independent cider and perry. The party will kick into action with special releases, tap takeovers, music and festivities along the street's rank of historic pubs and venues. It will also feature a declaration from Bristol's High Sheriff to crown Bristol the world's cider capital. A BBC actress has told of her horror after discovering her landlord planted a spy cam in her bathroom.
