Terry was selected by the Navy All-American Bowl Selection Committee, comprised of the All-American Bowl, 247Sports, and NXGN. Navy All-Americans are eligible for the Navy All-American Bowl Player of the Year Award, Anthony Muñoz Lineman of the Year Award, Navy All-American Bowl Defensive Player of the Year Award, Navy All-American Bowl Man of the Year, and Navy All-American Bowl Game MVP Award.
Only 100 football players receive the honor of wearing the Navy All-American Bowl jersey each year. The 2026 Navy All-American Bowl from the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas, will be presented live on NBC and Peacock.

MLB Speedway Classic: First Look at Braves-Reds at Bristol Motor Speedway
We've got our first look at the backdrop for next weekend's highly anticipated MLB Speedway Classic — a regular-season tilt between the Atlanta Braves and the Cincinnati Reds on August 2 at Bristol Motor Speedway in Tennessee. The game — which will be played on a field that was constructed inside of Bristol Motor Speedway, one of NASCAR's most iconic and popular tracks that seats 146,000 fans — will be the first MLB game played in Tennessee. You can watch all the action starting at 7:15 p.m. ET on FOX. Friday's stadium reveal comes three days after the league unveiled the uniforms for both teams. The Braves' cap features flames on the top of the visor, while the Reds' cap has checkered racing flags across its visor, per MLB. The league, which is looking for opportunities to host games at non-traditional venues, originally announced the MLB Speedway Classic in August 2024. The dimensions of the field at Bristol are 330 feet down the lines, 375 feet to the right-field alley, 384 feet to the left-field alley and 400 feet to straightaway center, per MLB's official announcement. This isn't the first sporting event that Bristol Motor Speedway has hosted. The first football game played there was in 1961 between Philadelphia and Washington — a preseason NFL game. The most notable event at Bristol took place much more recently, though. The "Battle at Bristol," a college football game between Tennessee and Virginia Tech in September 2016, still holds the all-time attendance record for a college game at 156,990, per Bleacher Report. 2025 Heisman Trophy Odds: Is 'Summer Favorite' Arch Manning a Good Bet?
One of the things I've learned covering sports betting over the last decade is it's not the best idea to bet the Heisman Trophy preseason favorite. Not a single "summer favorite" has won since 2015, and we've seen doozies like Sam Darnold, Leonard Fournette, Spencer Rattler and DJ Uiagalelei sit atop the betting boards as the calendar flipped to August. Conversely, we've seen players like Travis Hunter (50/1), Lamar Jackson (100/1) and Joe Burrow (200/1) defy betting odds to hoist the Heisman, while DeVonta Smith wasn't even listed before the 2020 campaign. Enter Arch Manning. The Texas quarterback with the million-dollar name is this year's favorite with a consensus price of around +600 in the market. Manning possesses insane upside on a team co-favored to win the national championship. That said, he threw for 939 yards last season with 13 total touchdowns. If Arch's last name was "Martin," the price might be double. "I wouldn't touch anything like that. It's such a crap shoot in August every year. "That's the beauty of college football. It's such a mystery how these Heisman races and All-American candidates will play out. Remember, Carson Beck was the favorite last year to win the Heisman and he ended up nowhere close. "I wouldn't touch any Heisman favorite." Ciancia's early darling is Clemson QB Cade Klubnik. "Even that's a little bit chalky at 9/1," he admitted. "He's a pretty safe bet coming in as a playoff contender. [Clemson] is going to be in the playoff mix, given how weak the ACC is. A very veteran roster around him, and they're building off a conference championship. That's my chalk pick. "If you want a lottery bet, I would go with Oklahoma's John Mateer at 30/1. It's going to be a high-powered, new-look offense there. He tore it up at Washington State with this same coordinator. I don't know if it's just the towel or the headband, but he looks like Baker Mayfield out there. "Similar playing style, he's going to get a ton of stats and if the Sooners make a run in the SEC, he'll be looked at as a Heisman candidate." I've buttered my bread with the aforementioned Beck, who transferred from Georgia to Miami to replace Heisman finalist and No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward. There's something to be said about a quarterback changing scenery to play in a system that's more conducive to putting up big numbers. FanDuel was dealing Beck at 37-1 a couple of weeks ago and yes, I would still bet him at 25-1 or higher if you're a little late to the party. Please don't bet FanDuel's current price at 18-1. Truth be told, Manning has the ability, name and surrounding talent to take this Heisman race and run with it. And I'd be lying if I said I wasn't worried about him throwing three touchdowns against Ohio State in Columbus on Aug. 30 and never looking back. Why Yankees jumped on Ryan McMahon trade — and gave up on Eugenio Suarez
The Yankees prioritized getting on the board rather than hitting a home run at third base. They really liked Eugenio Suarez, but felt Arizona had a strong group of contenders vying for the slugger, perhaps led by the Cubs. That convinced the Yankees that there would be a waiting period, through the weekend at least, as even after trading first baseman Josh Naylor to the Mariners, the Diamondbacks wanted to use more time to learn if they had a last-ditch chance to get into the wild card race. And then with multiple teams on Suarez, the bidding could go back and forth all the way to Thursday's trade deadline. That would guarantee a rise to a prospect cost that the Yankees did not want to expend on a walk-year player, as brilliant as Suarez's power has been since last year's All-Star break. And there was a fear of waiting until the deadline and not getting Suarez … and then what? The Yankees wanted to hold onto better prospects because internally they see pitching as a bigger priority than third base. That is how they ended up on Friday dealing two lower-level pitching prospects – lefty Griffin Herring and righty Josh Grosz – to the Rockies for Ryan McMahon. They are seeing it as an upgrade at third base – almost anything would have to be – while staying flexible to add elsewhere. Advertisement 5 Eugenio Suarez is the top third baseman on the trade market. AP It is even still possible that the Yankees add another position player – someone such as Minnesota switch-hitter Willi Castro or Washington's righty-swinging Amed Rosario – as they search for batters who do well against lefties (as McMahon makes the daily lineup even more left-handed) and have positional maneuverability. But the main area of fixation now is to improve the pitching.
