Kate Winslet latest star to take on role for King's charity
The Oscar-winning actress said she was thrilled to take on the role at The King's Foundation, following in the footsteps of Sir David Beckham, Sienna Miller, Sir Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster.
Winslet joined the King at the charity's awards ceremony in St James's Palace a fortnight ago, where she told him: 'Don't worry, I'll be all in – I've got your back.'

The star said following the announcement: 'One of my passions is exploring ways that we can protect and promote the natural world – something I have in common with His Majesty.'
In a video marking the news, Winslet added that the foundation's work protecting the planet and encouraging young people to learn about the 'beautiful' countryside was 'deeply important' to her.
She said she was looking forward to collaborating with the other ambassadors on how to make a difference.

'I am so thrilled to become an ambassador for The King's Foundation, particularly as the charity celebrates its 35th anniversary this year,' Winslet said.
'The King's Foundation does such fantastic work to prioritise and protect nature and our wonderful planet, in particular championing field to fork farming, as well as getting young people outdoors and learning about our beautiful countryside and how we can all play a part in protecting its future, all things that are deeply important to me and to so many of us.
'And it's been fascinating learning about what the foundation does over these past few months, and I am really looking forward to collaborating with the other ambassadors so we can discuss ways in which we can collectively make a positive difference.'

Other famous names who have signed up as ambassadors include TV stars Sarah Beeny, Patrick Grant, George Clarke and Alan Titchmarsh, musician and presenter Jools Holland and rugby player Maro Itoje.
The King's Foundation, previously known as The Prince's Foundation following an amalgamation of Charles's charities in the year he turned 70, aims to 'advocate for the change His Majesty wants to see in the world'.
It works to train the next generation of young craftspeople in heritage and endangered skills such as millinery, embroidery and woodworking, but also focuses on sustainability, farming and agriculture, health and wellbeing, and architecture and urbanism.

David Beckham entered the field at the Club World Cup with his arm in a sling after undergoing a secret operation from an injury he suffered during his playing career David Beckham was seen for the first time since his secret operation. The former footballer stepped out with his arm in a sling after going for surgery on an injury that had plagued him for over 20 years. The secret operation was required following a broken wrist he suffered while playing for England 22 years ago. At the time, he landed awkwardly after a challenge in a game against South Africa. Now, though, the Inter Miami co-founder was on hand to watch the American side's huge clash with another of his former teams, Paris Saint-Germain. Spirit Mixer made it third time lucky in the JenningsBet Northumberland Plate at Newcastle. A close second to top-class stayer Trueshan in 2023, Andrew Balding's charge could finish only ninth 12 months ago and went off at 25-1 on this latest visit to Gosforth Park for a race affectionately known as the 'Pitmen's Derby'. Bred in the purple as a son of Frankel and owner Jeff Smith's Group One-winning mare Arabian Queen, Spirit Mixer was delivered with his challenge in the home straight and knuckled down to get the better Dancing In Paris by a neck under a delighted Rob Hornby, who travelled north for a solitary ride. 'He was never a 25-1 shot in my head. I've won big races on him before and he was coming in off the back of a really good run at Goodwood,' said the jockey. 'I could have gone to Windsor and had four or five rides, but I wanted to come and ride him. He's a horse that's done no harm to me and it's fantastic to get that sort of reward today. 'There's a great crowd here today – I don't usually make the trek up north this far! I put it in my Sat Nav and it's just over five hours to get home, so this will make it a bit easier.' He added: 'He's such a cool horse, he's seven years old now and a beautifully-bred homebred of Mr Smith's. He's just thriving and really enjoying his racing at his tender age. 'The race went pretty smooth. I thought I was jostling for the lead early enough, but he got into a battle and outstayed them then inside the last furlong. 'It's important to be riding winners on Saturdays in these big races and I've been fortunate enough to win a July Cup in these colours (on Alcohol Free), they mean a great deal to me, as does riding winners for Kingsclere. 'What a joy he is to own and to train and to ride.'
