Cigarettes and (NO) alcohol! Oasis fans left fuming at the 'scandalous' price of booze - with half a pint of Strongbow costing £7.70

Oasis fans have been left fuming at the prices of booze at the band's first reunion show in Cardiff tonight.
Thousands of adoring fans flocked to the Welsh capital to watch Liam and Noel Gallagher take to the stage together for the first time since 2009, when the band dramatically broke up.
But those who made the journey from all over the world were forced to stump up eye-watering sums to enjoy alcohol at the gig this evening, after already paying hundreds of pounds to get tickets.
At the 34 bars inside the Principality Stadium, believed to be manned by around 900 staff, gig-goers had to pay £7.70 if they wanted a half-pint of Strongbow, while prices of spirits were just shy of £10 each.
For a 187.5ml wine fans had to stump up a steep £8.50, while non-alcoholic options also proved pricey with a bottle of water costing £3.40 and soft drinks at 10 or 20 pence more.
And while Cruzcampo was priced at £8.20 for a pint or £4.20 per half pint, fans were still infuriated at the prices.
One posted on X: 'Robbing t***s. £8.20 for a pint of p**s.'
Another added that it was 'theft', to which someone replied that it cost them the same amount to see Oasis live in 1996 as it did for two pints of Strongbow at tonight's show.
Spirits were also just shy of £10 each at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff
It comes as the Gallagher brothers played their first gig tonight after a 16-year hiatus to an ecstatic crowd in Wales - many thought such an event was impossible after their bitter public fall outs.
Standing on stage - saying very few words in their opening moments other than 'hello beautiful people' and Liam yelling 'it's good to be back' - the brothers opened with an exhilarating performance of their track, Hello.
Liam was seen wearing his signature green parka while Noel wore a denim blue shirt with dark jeans as they performed major hits including Morning Glory and Acquiesce.
The pair appeared right back home as they stood reunited in front of a crowd of 74,000 people - putting the last 16 years of quarrelling behind them.
Liam shouted to the crowd 'is anyone here from Manchester' to which part of the crowd roared.
Tea, coffee and hot chocolate all cost £3.20 each at the stadium in the Welsh capital
As the crowd grew with excitement almost everyone was stood up from their seats with pints being flung everywhere.
Many fans travelled from all corners of the globe to watch the first night of the 41-show tour across the world.
e told MailOnline that tonight's 'once in a lifetime' gig could not be missed.
Rodrigo Faez, 42, has travelled from Gijon in Spain to see the show tonight.
The super fan, who was lucky enough to see one of Oasis' final gigs in 2009, said: 'This is a once in a lifetime night for us. It's like following your favourite football team but in music with the loyalty, the identification, Oasis is more than a rockband.
'Oasis ruined our lives when they split up but then they have saved our lives again. I was so disappointed when they split up because we thought they were going to last forever.
'And then I really thought they were never going to reunite again and they did it and we get to enjoy this.
'It's a very special day for us with the atmosphere, the people and the music of course.'
Antoine Bordeau, Clément Santoro, Alexandre Bordeau travelled from Paris to Cardiff last night ahead of the gig.
Antoine said: 'We are so happy to be here and so excited to be here to share this moment with the people from Cardiff.'

Marcus Rashford sends message to Ruben Amorim after being exiled from pre-season training and stripped of his No 10 shirt

Marcus Rashford has seemingly responded to Ruben Amorim after the Manchester United manager exiled the wantaway star from pre-season training and stripped him of his No 10 shirt. Rashford, along with Jadon Sancho, Antony, Alejandro Garnacho and Tyrell Malacia, were all told to stay away from the training ground when the rest of the squad report for pre-season at Carrington on Monday. The 27-year-old is seeking a move away from Old Trafford after falling out with Amorim midway through last season, and consequently lost his shirt number this summer following Matheus Cunha's £62.5million move from Wolves. After being ostracised from the squad, Rashford seems to be eager to silence any doubt surrounding his commitment to football. Mail Sport reported that the forward has no issue returning to the club and will 'give 100 per cent' in training, regardless of the heavy speculation over his future. And Rashford appeared to double down on this with his recent social media post, as he shared a photo of himself lifting weights, making it his new profile picture on his X account. #NewProfilePic — Marcus Rashford (@MarcusRashford) July 5, 2025 Rashford then replied to two comments showing support towards him. One user shared a GIF of Rashford holding up a one and a zero with each of his hands to make the number 10, to which the winger replied with a heart emoji. Another user told Rashford: 'Keep your head down n focus... you got this bruv,' which was met with a '100' emoji response from the footballer. Rashford also recently changed his bio on X, which now does not specify which club he plays for and simply reads: 'England International Footballer,' followed by his agent's email address. Earlier this month, Aston Villa confirmed that they would not be triggering their £40m buy option for Rashford. The forward impressed during his six-month loan spell at Villa Park in the second half of last season, scoring four goals and adding six assists in 17 appearances in all competitions. Rashford's hefty contract demands could prove to be a stumbling block to any transfer, as his current deal sees him earn a whopping £315,000-per-week and runs until 2028. Rashford has been linked to a whole host of clubs across Europe this summer, including Newcastle and Barcelona, with the Catalan giants said to be the forward's dream destination.
