Dia Mirza makes SHOCKING revelations about Kareena Kapoor Khan, recalls how Bebo screamed at her: 'Who the hell are you?...'
Celebrity fights have always intrigued fans and often made headlines in Bollywood. At times, throwback interviews resurfaces to bring back unfamiliar moments from the past. One such story involves actresses Kareena Kapoor Khan and Dia Mirza, who collaborated in Kurbaan (2009) , but had an unpleasant encounter in the early 2000s.
In a resurfaced old interview with Rediff, Dia talked about the unexpected clash that took place at an event organised by Sahara Group in Lucknow. Several Bollywood stars, including Kareena Kapoor, Urmila Matondkar, Namrata Shirodkar, and Dia Mirza herself, were gathered for the occasion.
According to Dia, 'We were supposed to wear cotton salwaar-kameezes with the national flag. Kareena wanted to wear a ghagra choli with heavy jewellery that she had got specially made for herself. Above all, she was not wearing the national flag.'
Dia recalled how the agreed dress code did not set well with Kareena, and caused discomfort among other actresses. 'Suddenly, something struck Kareena. She started screaming at me at the top of her voice, 'Who the hell are you? Who are you to advise Namrata?' I was flabbergasted and very upset. I left the room, without retorting,' Mirza said.
Just half an hour later, things calmed down surprisingly, She said, 'Half-an-hour later, her secretary Jatin [who also happened to be Dia's secretary] knocked at my room to say Kareena wanted to know whether I was ready. A few minutes later, she was talking to me as if nothing had happened. I have come to the conclusion that Kareena is a girl who does not realise when she is irrational, unfair and loud.'
Despite the rocky encounter, the two actress eventually worked together and left things behind. Dia even appeared on Kareena's Radio Mirchi show, where they engaged in broader topics like mental health, motherhood, social media and staying positive.

Rekha Once Said She ‘Copied' Amitabh Bachchan Under His Influence: 'When We Started…'
Last Updated: Rekha and Amitabh Bachchan lit up the screen in classics like Silsila and Do Anjaane — but she later revealed just how deeply he shaped her as an actor. Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha's on-screen chemistry is one of the most talked-about dynamics in Bollywood history. Their pairing, especially in Silsila (1981), became a cultural phenomenon — fuelling decades of headlines on their alleged love affair, fan theories and public fascination. While Silsila is often seen as their most iconic film together, Amitabh and Rekha starred in several other Hindi movies that captured their electric screen presence. Some of the most popular Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha films include Muqaddar Ka Sikandar (1978), Mr. Natwarlal (1979), Suhaag (1979), Do Anjaane (1976), and Ram Balram (1980). Their Bollywood pairing defined an era, with audiences drawn to their onscreen chemistry and the mystery that surrounded their off-screen relationship. In a rare interview with Rediff, Rekha spoke about working with Amitabh Bachchan and the lasting impact he had on her performances. While both have largely kept silent about the love affair rumours that even Jaya Bachchan spoke of, Rekha has, on rare occasions, spoken about the deep professional influence Big B had on her as an actor — and one such moment came during an old interview with Rediff. When asked about the common observation that traces of Amitabh Bachchan's style could be seen in some of her own performances, Rekha didn't shy away from the comparison. 'I don't deny that. When a critic pointed out that I had copied him in Madam X, I agreed," she said candidly. Looking back at their early years in the film industry, she explained how working closely with Amitabh Bachchan at that stage inevitably leaves a lasting impact. 'Look, when we started working together, we were at a very impressionable stage," she said. 'Each one left his or her impression on the other." She even recalled how much of a cultural icon Bachchan had become during that era — not just for co-stars, but for the entire public. 'If you saw a crowd in those days from a top angle, you just saw a whole sea of heads with the Amitabh hairstyle," she added. Having acted alongside him in about 10 films early in her career, Rekha said it was natural for some of that influence to show up in her own craft. 'I worked with him in 10 films at an early stage of my career, spanning over so many years. How can I not be influenced?" While rumours of their off-screen love story continued to make the rounds, it never culminated into anything. Amitabh Bachchan is married to Jaya Bachchan and have two children – Abhishek Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan. Rekha was briefly married to industrialist Mukesh Agarwal in 1990, the marriage ended tragically with his death the following year. Emraan Hashmi's Wife Had 'Problems' With Intimate Scenes: 'They Might Not Like It...'
Last Updated: Emraan Hashmi also recalled what happened when he and Soha Ali Khan did not share a lip kiss in their 2009 movie Tum Mile. Emraan Hashmi's films like Murder, Jannat, Gangster, and Raaz: The Mystery Continues did not just make headlines for dark storylines but also for something else – Hashmi's intimate scenes and on-screen kiss with his co-stars. As a result, the actor received the tag of 'serial kisser' in the film industry. However, Emraan had once revealed that his wife had problems with his on-screen image. 'I've realised that the serial kisser tag has become synonymous with me, and I'm not going to fight it," he said in a 2014 interview with Rediff while talking about the serial kisser label. The actor recalled what happened when he and Soha Ali Khan did not share a lip kiss in their 2009 movie Tum Mile and shared, 'I was watching Tum Mile and we got to the scene in which Soha (Ali Khan) and I are alone together. Now, in a typical Emraan film, I'm supposed to kiss the girl. Here I don't, and I hear the person next to me go, 'Emraan Hashmi, yeh film main bimaar ho gaya tha kya? (Was Emraan Hashmi unwell in this film?).'" The actor then added, 'It's become like Salman Khan not taking his shirt off in a film — the audience feels cheated." Emraan further explained that even though the audience was happy, his wife had problems with his intimate scenes. 'Every actor has these 'things' that are symbolic and have to be done to keep the audience happy. Also, it's a great thing. It's much better and more fun than taking off your shirt!" he said. 'My wife and my father have problems with me getting intimate every time, but they know that these are the choices I made for longevity's sake. They might not like it, but they understand it," the actor concluded. Meanwhile, Emraan Hashmi was recently seen in Karan Johar's web series, Showtime. He will soon be seen in two Telugu films, OG and G2. Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. Please keep discussions respectful and constructive.
