As a pioneering tech academy to offer UX training, the tech bootcamp provider has addressed a growing market need by preparing a new generation of UX designers to help businesses deliver user-centric solutions. This achievement aligns with Bahrain's Vision 2030, fostering innovation and supporting the nation's evolving digital economy.
The 12-week bootcamp, fully supported by Tamkeen for Bahraini nationals, combines in-depth learning with hands-on practice. Participants engage in client projects, usability testing, and product design, culminating in a professional portfolio that showcases their capabilities. Graduates leave the program with a solid foundation in essential skills such as user research, interaction design, and prototyping, positioning them for success in top UX roles.
The integration of real-world training for students has resulted in collaborations with over 50 government, semi-government and private organizations. Through these projects, students designed or elevated the designs of now-ubiquitous digital products. Many of these projects have led to the organizations onboarding the students after graduation. Graduates have secured diverse roles across industries at organizations such as GIB, Tamarran, Benefit Pay, The Family Office, the Ministry of Interior, and Bahrain Health City in roles ranging from Innovation & User Experience Trainee to UX/UI Designer to Senior UX Designer.
Commenting on General Assembly's practical approach, recent graduate Bayan Saeed, currently working as a UI/UX Designer at K-labs, said, 'During my journey at General Assembly, I discovered a perfect blend of practical learning and professional growth. Furthermore, GA's career coaching and industry connections opened doors, helping me land my dream role in UX design.'
The rising demand for User Experience (UX) professionals in Bahrain is fueled by the nation's focus on digital transformation and the growth of its technology sector. As organizations prioritize user-centric digital solutions, the need for skilled UX designers becomes increasingly pronounced. This surge aligns with Bahrain's Vision 2030, which emphasizes the development of a robust digital economy. As companies across various sectors adopt digital strategies, the role of UX designers becomes crucial in creating intuitive and effective user interfaces, thereby enhancing customer satisfaction and engagement.
General Assembly's approach, focused on practical, real-world applications, has also proven essential to employers seeking skilled professionals. Saudi Mining Exploration Companies Increase to 134 in 2025

The Kingdom's intensified mining investments are part of a larger bid to diversify its economy and reduce reliance on oil, with 80% of its mineral-rich land still untapped. Saudi Arabia has doubled its mineral exploration investments as it intensifies efforts to unlock an estimated USD 1.3 trillion in untapped mineral resources across the Kingdom. According to Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, exploration spending rose from SAR 700 million in 2022 to SAR 1.3 billion in 2025. The move is part of Saudi Arabia's broader Vision 2030 strategy to diversify its economy and reduce dependence on oil. Despite being the largest country in the Middle East, only 20% of Saudi Arabia's mineral-rich land has been explored to date. Authorities are now racing to attract global investors and develop the mining sector into a pillar of the national economy. The Ministry has already issued 2,800 exploration licenses and continues to push for more public-private partnerships to modernise its geological surveys and infrastructure. By amplifying exploration activity, Saudi Arabia aims to become a global hub for metals such as gold, copper, phosphate and rare earth elements.

Egypt PM inaugurates Real Estate Registry and Notarization Complex in New Alamein - Society

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, alongside other ministers, inaugurated the Real Estate Registry and Notarization Complex in New Alamein City on Thursday, launching an integration system between the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Housing in 16 urban community real estate registry offices in new cities. The new integration system links the Ministry of Justice's Real Estate Registry and Notarization Authority and the Ministry of Housing's New Urban Communities Authority. The real estate registry offices are responsible for registering all transactions issued by the New Urban Communities Authority regarding lands, buildings, and units within their jurisdiction, as defined by law. In a cabinet statement, PM Madbouly highlighted the recent development efforts in New Alamein City, where numerous projects are still underway. He stated that the newly launched services aim to bring about a tangible improvement in the quality of services provided in the area, in line with Egypt's development objectives for the northwest coast. He stressed that this reflects the state's comprehensive vision for developing this promising area to attract more investments. During his tour in the new complex, Minister of Justice Adnan El-Fangary briefed PM Madbouly on the facility's capabilities. He said the complex is equipped with modern electronic tools to ensure fast and accurate transaction processing. El-Fangary also detailed the workflow and procedures of the state's digital transformation system, particularly the one-stop shop model designed to ease procedures for citizens. The minister added that the Distinguished Notarization Branch in New Alamein City consists of three service windows, in addition to two digital service windows available via the Egypt Digital Platform. Consequently, the new urban community real estate registry office features five windows for receiving real estate registration requests for properties within the jurisdiction of New Alamein. This initiative, which is part of the integration system between the Real Estate Registry and Notarization Authority and the New Urban Communities Authority, is facilitated through the G2G (government-to-government) digital hub and supports Egypt's Vision 2030. The move will enable the retrieval of all text, digital, spatial, and licensing data related to land, properties, and units within these communities, as per Law No. 177 of 2022, which regulates real estate registration in new urban communities. For his part, Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat emphasized that the opening of the complex is part of ongoing cooperation with the Ministry of Justice to digitize various services. It also aligns with broader efforts to implement the Digital Egypt initiative nationwide, he stressed. Talaat clarified that the partnership aims to modernize and streamline services through technology, reducing burdens on citizens. He further explained that the Ministry of Communications is responsible for providing the digital infrastructure, overseeing technical and engineering support, and training staff to ensure the success of the national Digital Egypt project. Saudi Rail Network to Grow 50% by 2030

Expansion will add nearly 2,700 km, connecting ports, airports, industrial hubs, and boosting freight capacity in line with Vision 2030's logistics ambitions. Saudi Arabia's national rail network will be increased from 5,300 km to 8,000 km - a growth of over 50% - as part of the Kingdom's National Transport & Logistics Strategy. The expanded network is expected to significantly ease road congestion, improve freight reliability, and cut logistics costs. It will also support rising non-oil exports and help the Kingdom meet its Vision 2030 target of transporting 10% of GDP through transport and logistics. Funding for rail projects constitutes nearly half of current transport and logistics investment. Expected outcomes include reduced carbon emissions, thousands of new jobs, and enhanced multimodal connectivity across ports, airports and industrial zones.
