South African musician sensation Zee Nxumalo has acquired a new set of wheels, a luxurious carrier van, a Mercedes-Benz V300d.
Taking to Instagram, the 'Ngisakuthanda' hitmaker shared a video of herself collecting her new vehicle with her family.
'Please be patient on the road😍 driver is still a LEARNER,' she captioned the video.
Nxumalo has positioned herself as one of the country's top hitmakers, with her song topping radio charts and her performing across the country.

For nearly seven decades, the Maynardville Open-Air Festival has enchanted generations of Capetonians with its signature Shakespeare under the stars. Now, as it prepares to celebrate its 70th anniversary in 2026, the iconic cultural event is embracing its legacy while stepping confidently into a more inclusive, diverse, and dynamic future. The 2026 season — running from 13 January to 8 March — carries the theme: In Full Swing, a tribute to the golden eras of music, blending the classical, the contemporary, and the distinctly local. This milestone year also marks the debut of jazz at Maynardville, a genre deeply rooted in Cape Town's cultural identity.' Jazz is part of the Cape Town soul,' said Jaco van Rensburg, Executive Producer of VR Theatrical, which took over custodianship of the festival in 2023. 'It's where so many legends of South African jazz are from, and there is both a traditional and younger jazz following in the city. Jazz is associated with relaxation, unwinding, reflection and inspiration. Mingled into a summer breeze and harmonised by the sounds of cicadas — it's going to be a treat.' Kicking off the season is the Shades of Blue Chamber Concert on 13 January, followed by Jazz in the Park (14–15 January), an open-air celebration of local jazz talent.

‘The betrayal is painful': Simphiwe Dana on people stealing from her
The singer recently celebrated 20 years since the release of her debut album. Singer and songwriter Simphiwe Dana has opened up about the betrayal she has suffered over the past few years. Taking to Instagram, Dana shared a cryptic message saying that people have stolen from her in the past five years. 'I'm actually getting madder by the moment. I know I bring genius things. For the past five years, I've been stolen from. And my people have been a part of it. I'm tired. The betrayal is painful,' she wrote. 'I knew I looked different, I sounded different, and the songs I wanted to sing were different. 'I thought I was telling people, 'Make way, something different is coming,' but in hindsight, I was telling all of our stories about what it means to affirm yourself — because the world will always tell you that you're supposed to be something else,' she added.
