Ricoh IM C Series Wins "Best Print Productivity, A3 MFPs" at 'DataMaster' Digital Imaging Awards 2025
TOKYO, June 30, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The Ricoh IM C series, Ricoh Asia Pacific's latest generation of A3 colour multifunction printers, has been awarded the 'Best Print Productivity 2025' title by DataMaster, a leading independent testing authority in the imaging industry.
The award recognises the exceptional performance of the Ricoh IM C2010, IM C2010AEX, IM C2510, IM C3010, IM C3510, IM C3010EX, IM C3510EX, IM C4510, IM C6010 and IM C7010, which together represent the forefront of productivity and efficiency in today's fast-paced office environments.
"We are honoured that DataMaster has recognised the RICOH IM C series. This award is a powerful validation of the series' design focus on real-world productivity," said Kei Uesugi, Managing Director of Ricoh Asia Pacific. "From seamless multitasking to intelligent print queue management, every innovation in this series is built to support the demands of today's dynamic office environments."
Tested for Real-World Workflows
In its rigorous lab evaluations, DataMaster highlighted several best-in-class features of the Ricoh IM C series, including:
Superior duplex performance, printing faster on both sides of the sheet—even in A3—than on one side.
Advanced multitasking capabilities allow the devices to process print jobs, print, and scan simultaneously at full speed. In DataMaster's "busy office" tests, Ricoh MFPs handled 15 incoming print jobs at once and completed them all at their rated speeds, without any slowdown during image processing.
Uninterrupted job handling, enabling walk-up users to carry out complex scan jobs while printing continues in the background.
Continuous printing with smart paper source switching, powered by Ricoh's rapid induction fuser technology and precision design.
Intelligent queue management helps prevent print job blockages and keeps office workflows running smoothly.
"Our independent test lab is set up to reveal productivity problems," said Edward Bilson, Technical Director of DataMaster. "Many competing machines have addressed most of these weaknesses, but the only range that has ever achieved 100% success in our demanding productivity evaluations is the Ricoh IM C series."
Innovation at the Core
First introduced in 2023, the RICOH IM C series is designed to meet the evolving needs of digital workplaces, featuring innovative features such as RICOH Always Current Technology and RICOH Smart Integration for continuous updates, enhanced security, and cloud-based collaboration tools.
The DataMaster award reinforces Ricoh's position as a trusted technology partner, dedicated to helping organisations work smarter through innovation, reliability, and environmental responsibility.

Samsung One UI 8 beta brings Now Bar to Galaxy Watches
AssembleDebug / Android Authority TL;DR Samsung's first One UI 8 Watch beta update brings the Now Bar to Galaxy Watches. The Now Bar displays snippets of relevant info on your lock screen, such as the stopwatch, music info, and more. Samsung has just released the first One UI 8 Watch beta update, which brings various additions and improvements to Galaxy Watch models. The new software also brings a popular feature to smartwatches. The One UI 8 Watch beta changelog revealed that the Now Bar is available in this software. The Now Bar offers snippets of relevant info on your lock screen. On Galaxy phones, it can show details like your device's charging status, a stopwatch, sports scores, mapping directions, music playback, and more. Telegram users That Josh Guy and Jason posted screenshots of the Now Bar in action on Galaxy Watches, giving us a good idea of how it works. The images show that music playback, timers, and stopwatches are supported at the very least. The screenshots also confirm that the Now Bar lets you omit text and only have an app icon appear. Interestingly, the Now Bar in One UI Watch 8 seems functionally similar to a One UI Watch 7 feature. Watches running One UI Watch 7 display an icon at the bottom of the screen, and tapping this icon will open a new menu showing your current activities (e.g., stopwatch, and music). Check out the current feature in the video below. This isn't the first time we've heard about the Now Bar coming to Galaxy Watches, though. We first discovered evidence of the feature and Now Brief coming to smartwatches last month. Nevertheless, we're glad Now Bar is available in One UI 8 Watch, as we thought it was perfect for watches.
