Shocking testimony: Kid Cudi claims Diddy broke into his home and set his Porsche on fire

Besides looking like he strutted straight out of a "Grease" movie scene, Kid Cudi ended the second week of Sean 'Diddy' Combs' federal trial with a dramatic testimony that brought new tension to an already complex case.
Cudi, real name Scott Mescudi, testified on Thursday, detailing an unsettling encounter linked to his brief relationship with Cassie Ventura, Diddy's on-and-off partner at the time.
According to Mescudi, in December 2011, he was spending Christmas with Cassie and her family when she called him early one morning.
She had just spoken to an employee of Combs, who sounded 'very scared' and claimed Combs and another man were inside Mescudi's Hollywood Hills home.
When Mescudi contacted Combs, he recalled Combs telling him, 'I just want to talk to you' and admitting he was at the house, 'Waiting for you.'
By the time Mescudi arrived home, Combs had already left. But signs of the break-in were clear.

He found open gift boxes, his security camera turned around, and his dog locked in the bathroom and visibly traumatised.
'I was looking for [Combs],' Mescudi told the court. 'I wanted to confront him, I wanted to fight him, you know?' Instead, he chose to contact the police.
Mescudi later confronted Combs over the phone. 'You broke into my house and messed with my dog,' he said. 'I don't want to talk to you.'
The pressure didn't stop there. Mescudi testified that while he was still with Ventura over the holidays, Combs continued to call him repeatedly, wanting to know more about the relationship. 'He wanted to get to the bottom of it and figure it out,' Mescudi said.
Things escalated weeks later when Mescudi's Porsche 911 convertible was set on fire while parked outside his home. He claimed someone threw a Molotov cocktail into the car.
While Combs has denied any involvement in the arson, Mescudi's timeline suggests the events were not unrelated.
The trial this week also revealed allegations that he extorted $20,000 (R380 000) from Ventura's family by threatening to release explicit sex tapes of her.
Ventura's mother, Regina Ventura, testified that in 2011, after discovering Cassie's brief relationship with Mescudi, Combs demanded payment to stop the tapes from being made public.
Regina described the ordeal as deeply upsetting, saying, 'I did not understand it, the sex tape threw me. He was trying to hurt my daughter.'
Reports also quoted Mescudi referring to Sean 'Diddy' Combs as a 'Marvel villain,' a sharp way to capture how dark and threatening he found Combs' behaviour throughout their interactions.
The defence has admitted that Combs was 'violent with romantic partners' and described his personal life as 'different.' However, they maintain that he did not commit any federal crimes.
Still, Mescudi's account adds weight to the prosecution's case. The federal racketeering and sex trafficking case continues next week.

Umhlanga Ski Boat Club brings early Christmas cheer
IT is a mid-year celebration that invokes Christmas traditions and spirit of giving and it has become a hit on the Umhlanga Ski-Boat Club's calendar. They recently held a Christmas in July party for residents from The Association for the Aged (TAFTA) John Conradie House. Residents were treated to live music, dance performances, a meal and gift bags. Irene Chetty, the wellness activity co-ordinator for TAFTA John Conradie House said the event was a treat for every resident who participated. 'This year we had 80 residents from the home join the festivities at the ski-boat club. We are so blessed to be spoiled by them and having it twice a year it really is a treat for the residents. They so look forward to this event that they start enquiring at the beginning of the year. Some of the residents who joined us are here for the first time and they absolutely love being spoiled,' she said. One of the organisers and member of the ski-boat club, Rene Pheasant, explained they had hosted residents at their club house for the last decade. 'In all this is the 14th year we've hosted residents from TAFTA and it is our way to spoil everyone. This celebration is as a result of a Good Samaritan, who used to live in uMhlanga, who made this all possible. The responses from them have been heartwarming and really we want the residents to know we care. It's just inspiring to see how grateful our members are and the volunteers who've made the day a resounding success,' Pheasant said. Polokwane residents enjoy Christmas in July at Meropa
POLOKWANE – Visitors to Meropa Casino and Entertainment World braved the cold during the Christmas in July and Market glow-festival which presented a delightful three-day outdoor event from July 4-6. The event featured a garden of lights, a vibrant market, artificial snow flakes, amusement rides, as well as a picnic set-up. Public relations and events coordinator at Meropa, Martin Mafokoane told Polokwane Observer that the celebration aimed to spread joy and recreate the enchanting atmosphere of Christmas among families, in the middle of the year, instead of waiting for the end of the year. 'This concept of Christmas in July originated in a girls' camp in the United States, and it was fuelled by creativity and a love for the holiday. 'In Europe and Australia, this occasion is also tied to the seasonal weather, with Europeans yearning for the coolness of December and Australians linking their July winter to the chilly Christmases of the northern hemisphere,' she said. Gates were open from 14:00 each day for the public where families and friends socialised during a picnic session. There were also stalls ideal for Christmas shopping, a variety of fun family activities, as well as colourful amusement rides for the kids. The magical Christmas lights illuminated the garden from 19:00 and the event also offered an interactive lighting experience, which guided visitors through a garden trail adorned with state-of-the-art lanterns and air sculptures which were all set to a backdrop of festive music playing in the background as they took a stroll in the garden. Craft lovers enjoy winter magic at fair
The beloved Crafters Fair Winter Market returned to the Moreleta Church in Moreleta Park this year, running from June 25 to July 5 — and once again, it didn't disappoint. With just an R10 entry fee, visitors received a hand stamp, grabbed a basket or trolley, and entered a thoughtfully laid-out shopping experience. From start to finish, the market offered a delightful maze of locally made goods, perfect for winter browsing and early festive finds. From handcrafted leather goods, jewellery, and quirky novelty items to ceramics, perfumes, organic lotions, and pet accessories, shoppers could explore an impressive variety of offerings. There were also plants, craft supplies, and a wide selection of homemade remedies — making the experience feel more like a curated exhibition than a typical market. However, the homemade biscuit stall, which was as dramatic as it was irresistible, stood out above all the other stalls, with rows of golden-baked treats drawing visitors in and setting the tone for a market filled with artisanal charm. Hosted by the Crafters Fair team, this pop-up market has become a local fixture, taking place twice a year at the same venue — once in winter and again over the Christmas season.
