Officers are appealing for information after a scary incident at a supermarket in the Black Country. A man with a large knife demanded cash and cigarettes during a robbery at the store on July 17, police have said. Quantities of each were then taken from the premises on Broadway in Walsall at around 5.20pm. Officers added that one man waited outside the supermarket as a second entered. "Two men approached the premises with one of the men waiting outside of the store and the other going inside. "A man who went inside then pulled out a large knife, demanded cash and cigarettes, and stole a quantity of each. Both men then left the scene."
