Jeff Bezos' latest investment is a new lingerie line designed by Sydney Sweeney.
The Emmy-nominated actress, known for her roles in the HBO series 'Euphoria' and 'The White Lotus,' has been working on a lingerie line that has received backing from Bezos and his wife, Lauren Sánchez, a source familiar with the matter told US Weekly.
Sweeney was invited to the couple's June wedding in Venice, Italy.
Sydney Sweeney is reportedly primed to launch a lingerie line, which has been backed by billionaire Jeff Bezos.
Sweeney recently shared cryptic photos of herself in lingerie.
'This has been a huge project for her and something she's been working on for the last year,' the source said.
Her brand, which will reportedly debut 'soon,' was backed by Ben Schwerin, a partner at private equity firm Coatue.
The private equity firm recently launched a fund focused on investing in high-growth public and private tech companies.
The family offices of Bezos and PC company founder Michael Dell have committed to provide $US1 billion of the initial capital for the fund, according to The Wall Street Journal.
Sweeney is one of the most talked about Hollywood stars right now.
A pitch deck seen by the Journal indicated the fund aims to invest between 20 to 50 per cent of its assets in private investments with the rest earmarked for public stocks.
Bezos has already invested capital in several companies in the tech, healthcare, aerospace, finance and media industries.

Most of those investments are made through his venture capital firm, Bezos Expeditions, and through Nash Holdings, which owns The Washington Post.
Now, some of his funds will back the actress's first brand. During her rapid rise to fame, Sweeney has formed partnerships and become the brand ambassador for several major companies, including HeyDude footwear, Bai beverages, Laneige skincare and Kérastase haircare.
Recently, she made headlines with a campaign for men's natural body wash brand Dr. Squatch, selling a limited-edition soap reportedly made with her own bathwater.

Jerry O'Connell and Rebecca Romijn keep their money separate

Jerry O'Connell and Rebecca Romijn keep their money in separate bank accounts. The couple - who have been married since 2007 and have twin daughters Dolly and Charlie together - lifted the lid on their finances during a joint appearance on SiriusXM's Andy Cohen show, revealing they keep the money they earn but pay into a "community pot" for parenting expenses. Host Cohen turned the conversation towards money by describing Rebecca as the breadwinner in the household since Jerry's run co-hosting The Talk TV show ended last year, and the actress, 52, said: "We keep our money completely separate ... There's, like, a community pot." The X-Men star went on to explain the couple made the decision to keep their money separate right at the start of their marriage, saying: "That's like one of the first conversations you have when you decide to enter into a legal agreement together." Jerry also pointed out how much money they put into their "community pot" varies and depends on how much work is coming in. He said: "I have to say, we actually throttle how much money we put into that account sometimes," and his wife added: "The one who's not working gets a little bit of a break and the one who is working puts in a little more. And we really tag-team with work." Rebecca revealed the couple's work also depends on childcare because they promised to always make sure one of them was home to care for their daughters, who are now 17 years old. She said: "We also decided when our girls were born that one of us would always stay home with our daughters. So, no one else was ever going to raise them besides the parents." Jerry previously admitted he hopes his girls follow him into showbusiness after he started his career at the age of 11 with a role in Stand By Me. He told UsWeekly: "I have one daughter who's auditioning for the school musical. They're doing Urinetown, so we went to [dinner] last night and we went over her lines in the diner, so that was really funny. I'm going to have a couple nepo babies! "I'm throwing it out there. It's the family business!"

Tristan Rogers has cancer

Tristan Rogers has been diagnosed with cancer. The General Hospital actor remains "hopeful" for the future but has appealed for privacy amid a "challenging time" as he undergoes treatment for an undisclosed form of the disease. Tristan's representative said in a statement: "Beloved Emmy winning actor Tristan Rogers, best known for his role as Robert Scorpio on the daytime drama, General Hospital is sharing with fans that he has been diagnosed with cancer. "While he remains hopeful and is working closely with his medical team on a treatment plan, this is a challenging time for Tristan and his family. "As they face both the emotional and physical burdens that come with this diagnosis, the family kindly asks for privacy and understanding. "'They are deeply grateful for the outpouring of support and love from their friends and family." The 79-year-old actor expressed his gratitude towards fans for their "loyalty and encouragement". The statement continued: 'Tristan sends his love to his fans and wants them to know how much he appreciates their loyalty and encouragement over the years. This support means more to him now than ever.' Tristan and his family will only offer updates on his condition if "deemed appropriate". The veteran actor joined General Hospital as Robert Scorpio in 1980 before leaving in 1992 when his alter ego was apparently killed. He briefly reprised the role - in ghost form - for a week in 1995 and made sporadic appearances in 2006. In 2008, he joined General Hospital: Night Shift and also appeard in four episodes of the main show the same year. He made frequent further appearances between 2012 and 2018 and rejoined the cast on a more permanent basis from 2019, with his most recent appearance coming last year. Away from the medical drama, Tristan also had a stint as Colin Atkinson on The Young and the Restless, appeared in over 100 episodes of The Bay, and received a Daytime Emmy Award nomination for his work in Studio City.

Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham fuel Fleetwood Mac reunion speculation

Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham have fuelled speculation of a Fleetwood Mac reunion. The former couple, who have not been on good terms since guitarist Lindsey was axed from the group once again in 2018 in acrimonious circumstances, unexpectedly shared a pair of matching Instagram posts on Thursday (17.07.25). Stevie shared a handwritten line from the 1973 Buckingham Nicks song Frozen Love which read: 'And if you go forward…' Lindsey then shared a near-identical post with the next line: 'I'll meet you there." And that's not all because bandmate Mick Fleetwood went on to share a video of himself listening to the track, which was shared onto the group's Instagram page too. His post was captioned: "Magic then, magic now." The 78-year-old drummer previously admitted he is keen for Stevie and Lindsey to put their differences aside. Mick - who co-founded the iconic rock band in the 1960s - told Us Weekly: "I always have a fantasy that [Stevie] and Lindsay would pal up a bit more and just say everything's OK for them both. But we've had such an incredible career." Mick planned to reunite the band before Christine McVie passed away in November 2022, aged 79. The veteran musician has "struggled" to find a direction since Christine's passing - but he remains hopeful of working with another band in 2026. Mick shared: "I miss playing as much as we used to. I'm hoping next year, one way or another, some band somewhere will say, come and play with drums or something. "So I always love to do whatever I can do working on an album that next year we may tour with it. I don't know, [but] not Fleetwood Mac." Meanwhile, Mick previously admitted that he would love for their to be "a healing" between Stevie and Lindsey. The musician hopes that they can mend their relationship, even if it doesn't lead to a Fleetwood Mac reunion. Mick told MOJO: "It's no secret, it's no tittle-tattle that there is a brick wall there emotionally. "Stevie's able to speak clearly about how she feels and doesn't feel, as does Lindsey. But I'll say, personally, I would love to see a healing between them - and that doesn't have to take the shape of a tour, necessarily."
