EXCLUSIVE He played the rebellious heartthrob in a Texas oil dynasty... now 79, this soap star carries the same charisma walking down Rodeo Drive... can you guess who?
On the show, his character had multiple affairs, reunited with his first wife, got caught up in a scandalous murder, relapsed into alcoholism and inherited a fortune before losing it all.
The show ran for 14 seasons, but this now 79-year-old actor first took on the role in its hit prequel, where he consistently clashed with his powerful Texas oil family.
After the series found success, he tried his hand at made-for-TV movies.
But he ultimately would make his way back to soaps, becoming a regular on the most recognizable modern daytime show up until the age of 71.
Can you guess who it is?
It's Ted Shackelford!
The handsome actor known for his rugged looks was spotted running errands on Friday in Beverly Hills near Rodeo Drive.
He looked snazzy in a suede light brown blazer over a dark blue-collar shirt that was layered over a gray undershirt.
For pants, he went with a more casual style, opting for dark-washed jeans coupled with gray sneakers.
During his recent outing, the 79-year-old was seen walking with the aid of a stylish black-and-white houndstooth cane, a subtle reminder of the passage of time since his days as a soap opera heartthrob.
Yet even with the years behind him, he still carried that unmistakable charisma, dressed with flair and sporting the classic combed-back hair that made him a standout on screen.
Shackelford's turn as Gary Ewing proved a breakout success after he stepped into the role in 1979, replacing David Ackroyd as the conflicted middle son of oil tycoon Jock Ewing on Dallas.
His character became so popular that he was granted a spin-off show, Knots Landing, with the premise that he and his newly married wife Valene – played by Joan Van Ark – branched off from Texas to move to a cul-de-sac outside of Los Angeles in a classic soap opera format featuring affairs, murders, financial scandals and kidnappings.
As the charming front man, Shackelford's character marries and divorces his wife Valene twice, having an affair with villainess Abby who he marries and then divorces, falls into alcoholism, gets implicated in a murder and loses his inheritance all before getting back with his first wife.
The show's run between 1979 to 1993 was so successful that the cast came back for a mini-series only four years later.
He also appeared on Dallas in 2013, where he reunited with his first wife, Valene, in his final episode.
During his time on Knots Landing, the actor also tried his hand at made-for-television movies such as Baby of the Bride (1991) and Sweet Temptation (1996) while also guest-starring in shows such as The Twilight Zone, Alfred Hitchcock Presents and Hotel.
Despite his exit from the show in the late 90s, Shackelford continued to star in soap operas up until the age of 71.
From 2006 to 2015, he became a regular on the hit daytime drama The Young and the Restless, playing Genoa City's district attorney William Bardwell.
After the character's on-screen death from a stroke, he returned as William's twin brother, Jeffrey.

Poker Face – Season 2 Episode 12 Recap, Review & Ending Explained
Episode 12 Episode 12 of Poker Face Season 2 begins with Charlie and Alex on the run towards Beatrix Hasp. Luca calls Charlie and tells her about the Iguana and how he wanted them to get away and lead him to Beatrix. He says the Iguana can look like anyone and encourages her to give herself up to the police. She cuts the call and discusses the situation with Alex. They stop at the next truck stop, where Charlie muses that they only need to survive two weeks until Beatrix testifies. After that, they should be safe. But at that moment, Charlie spots a man who could be the assassin and the two girls make a run for it. The man chases them but they manage to drive away before he can do anything. Meanwhile, Luca tries to tell his superiors to reveal Hasp's location so they can move her. The location is protected by a three-word phrase which is split between three different agencies and each agency head refuses Luca's request. Charlie and Alex arrive at Beatrix's house. Charlie goes up to the front door on her own but no one opens it. She goes to the side of the house and finds a dead body. Alex starts pressing the car horn and Charlie runs back but it's too late, Alex is gone. Charlie goes back to the house and finds multiple dead bodies, including Beatrix's. From a side room, Alex comes out! Charlie realises she's been behind the whole thing — she is the Iguana! Alex is the one person who can lie to Charlie. She's been lying to her this whole time. Alex describes how she's been an assassin for years but got bored over the last few years. She then got a call from her agent, who convinced her to take on a job to kill Beatrix Hasp. While Alex wasn't interested at first, she was intrigued when she learned that Charlie is a human lie detector and the only one who could get her to Beatrix. It presented a new challenge. When Alex offered Charlie that free coffee that wasn't really coffee, it was a test to see if Alex could lie to Charlie. And she passed! But it took a Herculean effort from Alex to constantly lie. The gym murder got Charlie to fully trust Alex. Next, she hired the world's second-best assassin to kill Hasp's son and frame Charlie. She also attacked a random man at the truck stop to make him chase her and Charlie (who mistook him for the Iguana). Alex says that the challenge of lying to Charlie gave her life purpose. But now, she has to kill her. She is about to shoot when a fire alarm starts beeping. Charlie had kept one of Beatrix's pots on a high flame and it set the alarm off. It sends her location to Luca and as cops arrive at the house, Alex holds Charlie hostage and drives off in her car. Luca and other agents pursue them. Alex admits to Charlie that after fooling her nemesis, she's now ready to end her life. Charlie says that Alex hasn't tried to lie to her while Charlie's trying to catch her. Alex decides to play two truths and a lie while hurtling the car towards the edge of a cliff. If Charlie wins, she'll let them live. Charlie wins! But now, the car's brakes don't work. The car goes over the cliff but right before that, Charlie opens her door and leaps out. Luca saves her from falling off the cliff but with Alex gone, she will now be held for several federal crimes. However, Luca agrees to let her go…for now. Charlie is upset about the turn of events but she rushes off and gets a ride from a truck driver. When another FBI agent examines Charlie's burnt-up car at the bottom of the canyon, we see that Alex isn't inside. The Episode Review Episode 12 ends Poker Face Season 2 on a high note! A lot has happened in this episode and while your mileage with the implications may vary, it's still a solid dose of intriguing twists and turns. While the first half of the episode is all about the chase and running away, the second half offers a tête-à-tête between Charlie and the Iguana who is revealed to be none other than Alex. The Season 2 finale implies that they are each other's nemeses and suggests that the following season will not only have Charlie run from the FBI but also face off against Alex once again. Although I wonder how Alex will continue to compete with Charlie now that Charlie knows her real identity. Ultimately, it all comes down to the larger trajectory of Charlie's life. The second season largely saw her settle down in one place and make longer connections with people; it felt like a different direction from the chase of Season 1. In the end, it depends on which version you like better — slice of life or on the run? Previous Episode Expect A Full Season Write-Up When This Season Concludes!

Influencer couple brutally mocked over newborn son's obscure name: 'He's going to be teased'
An influencer couple has been brutally mocked online over their newborn son's obscure name. Clarissa Caleb and Shaquan Roberts, known as Riss & Quan, have gained more than three million subscribers on YouTube by documenting their day-to-day endeavors as parents to three young boys. But when they recently revealed their youngest son's moniker to the world, they faced immense backlash over what they decided to name him. In a video shared to TikTok earlier this week, Clarissa and Shaquan were seen holding up a heart-shaped glass case that was filled with little balls. 'Baby boy's name is...' Clarissa said before trailing off. 'Three, two, one,' Shaquan said as he opened up a small hole at the bottom of the glass case. The balls then fell out one by one, eventually revealing their newborn's moniker written underneath: Secure Arris Roberts. The clip got nearly three million views, and many people took to the comment section to slam the unusual baby name. 'Who names they baby Secure?' asked one user. 'What's wrong with parents these days?' wondered another. 'Sometimes I think y'all forget you are naming future adults,' someone else wrote. 'Secure? You parents in this generation really don't get it. "Secure" is a word that describes a feeling. It's not a name. But to each his own,' read a fourth comment. A fifth said, 'They be calling anything as names to kids these days.' 'You guys owe him an apology,' a different user scathed. 'Poor baby when he starts school he's going to be teased,' added another person. The couple also share sons Shine Anthony Roberts and Saviour Azaire Roberts. The clip got nearly three million views, and many people took to the comment section to slam the unusual baby name In a follow-up video, they explained, 'As you guys can see we decided to keep the theme of the [initials] SAR.' 'Shaquan came up with the first name and I came up with the middle name,' Clarissa dished. Clarissa also pointed out that his middle name 'has a little piece of her' in it, explaining, 'Arris actually means "best" or "superior." But it also has "ris" in there. 'It's Greek and my first name, Clarissa, is Greek as well. I just thought it was cute, I don't know.' 'We put a ton of thought into his name, like we always do,' Shaquan added. 'We definitely wanted to go with something unique, a name that pretty much not many people in this world have.
