The schedule shake-up comes just days after another announcement was made during The One show.
On June 25, Alex and Clara Amfo were joined by Matt Allwright and Nikki Fox as they celebrated 40 years of Watchdog.
To mark the special milestone, they dedicated the show to the programme as Matt and Nikki looked back at some of their more recent success stories, including everything from undercover investigations to big business policy changes and mega refunds.
At the end of the show, Matt went on to say: "Happy birthday Watchdog and everybody who has worked on the show, amazing people. Thank you to everyone who has contacted us over the last 40 years because without you it would not mean a thing."
Nikki jumped in: 'We can not do it without your stories.' The TV star then confirmed that her show will be taking a 'break' as she announced: 'Watch Dog is going to be taking a break over summer and we are back in September so please keep them coming.'

Lucky loser Sierra's Wimbledon fairytale continues
LONDON, July 4 (Reuters) - Solana Sierra continued to make the most of her good fortune at Wimbledon as the Argentine on Friday became the first lucky loser to move into the fourth round of the grasscourt Grand Slam since tennis turned professional in 1968. The 21-year-old squandered a match point and crashed in the final round of qualifying to Australia's Talia Gibson, but went into the main draw at the very last moment when Belgium's Greet Minnen pulled out and she has not looked back since. After seeing off Australia's Olivia Gadecki and stunning local favourite Katie Boulter, she came through a challenging test against Spain's Cristina Bucsa to win 7-5 1-6 6-1 and dropped to the ground in celebration. Sierra, who looked at her team in disbelief for several moments as she sat on the turf after match point, will pick up a cheque worth at least 240,000 pounds ($327,336) for her surprise run. She meets Laura Siegemund or Australian Open champion Madison Keys in the next round. ($1 = 0.7332 pounds)

Wimbledon diary: Portuguese tributes and champagne cork stops play
Jota was part of the Portuguese national squad and his compatriots were able to bend the all-white dress rules in SW19 to pay tribute to the 28-year-old. Cabral said: 'I asked for permission to use the black ribbon and they let me play with it. 'It was an honour – it was not for the best reason. He was an inspiration not only for me but for the country in general.' ***** In one of those 'could only happen at Wimbledon' moments, Amanda Anisimova was interrupted by the popping of a champagne cork during her third-round win on Court Three. 'It's the most #Wimbledon warning you've ever heard' 😂 It's been popping off at the tennis today 🍾 — BBC Sport (@BBCSport) July 4, 2025 The American was visibly annoyed and the umpire had to remind fans about their etiquette when players are about to serve. Afterwards, the 13th seed said: 'It kept happening. At some point I was, like, 'Can everybody just do it on the changeover?' 'It was a bit rowdy on that court, too, because you could hear everyone on the sides that are, like, outside of the court. It was definitely a bit distracting.' ***** Heavyweight British boxer Anthony Joshua and his promoter Eddie Hearn were present in the Royal Box on Friday, joined by former Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker. Dame Mary Berry, previously of The Great British Bake Off, was in attendance, and so too was Irish actress and writer Sharon Horgan, star of Bad Sisters and co-creator of Motherland. Astronaut Major Tim Peake was another guest, with physicist and musician Brian Cox taking a seat alongside chef Marcus Wareing. ***** 'I think every tennis player talks to themselves. That's why we're all kind of crazy.' – Naomi Osaka on her inner dialogue during her third-round loss to Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova. Both were born in Belgrade, with the 25-year-old Kecmanovic playing at the tournament for the fourth time and trying to better the third-round finish he achieved in both 2022 and 2024. Djokovic knocked out his Davis Cup teammate the last time they met – in SW19 three years ago – and has won all three meetings. And with Djokovic stating that this tournament is likely to be his best chance of gaining the grand slam title he needs to surpass Margaret Court's all-time record, Kecmanovic will require an inspired display to be the last Serb standing. Overcast with highs of 22C, according to the Met Office.

Fans rally behind Emma Raducanu in searing heat ahead of Wimbledon showdown
Crowds queued around Centre Court with Pimm's in hand and sun hats on to watch the 22-year-old take on the world number one in one of the most anticipated matches of the Championships so far. Amid the surge of interest in Raducanu's Centre Court showdown, stewards had begun turning fans away from the queue, warning that ground pass capacity was close to being reached. Among the supporters were Amy Stainthorpe, 25, and Hannah Wicks, 24, both working in fashion buying, who said: 'You've got to support the girls. 'That's why we're here – the men take all of the spotlight, but it's great to see a lady running things.' Beth Swinburne, 30, Liv Shackleton, 31, and Rose Butler, 29, all from London, said: 'She's so fab – girls in sport. Girl power.' Miss Shackleton said: 'I think she's been really open about mental health struggles as well.' Miss Butler said: 'I can't wait to have Pimm's on the hill and watch her.' Jonathan Mack, 36, an investment manager from London, said: 'She's British, she's very pretty, she's very good at tennis. We'll be cheering her on.' 'Obviously there are rumours she's with Alcaraz – she's got a smile on her face, a bit of spring in her step. 'Maybe a bit of love is helping her. Perhaps he might be there watching her.' Inside Centre Court, the Royal Box began to fill with famous faces including Gary Lineker, Anthony Joshua and his promoter Eddie Hearn – who arrived in near-matching cream jackets – alongside Dame Mary Berry, Professor Brian Cox and astronaut Tim Peake. The stands were packed with spectators shielding themselves from the heat as anticipation built for what promises to be one of the standout matches of the tournament. Raducanu's clash with Sabalenka on Centre Court follows matches between Taylor Fritz and Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, and Carlos Alcaraz and Jan-Lennard Struff. Raducanu has been embracing the Wimbledon experience this week, training alongside world number one Jannik Sinner and spending time with childhood friends and long-time mentor Jane O'Donoghue. The 22-year-old described watching Sinner as a chance to 'learn by osmosis', while calling it 'really special' to have her closest friends and support team with her during the tournament. Facing top seed Sabalenka represents one of the toughest challenges in women's tennis, but Raducanu said she plans to be aggressive and 'creative', adding: 'You can't really do nothing or give nothing balls to her.'
