Outrageous moment widow TWERKS against her late husband's open coffin during his funeral
But one in Peru took a jaw-dropping turn when a widow was caught on camera twerking against a life-sized cut-out of her late husband leaning against his open coffin.
Dressed in all black, the woman was seen gyrating her behind on the cardboard tribute as funeral guests clapped, whooped and cheered her on.
The gathering turned into a full-on concert as reggaeton singer, El Cangri del Callao, a self-described 'wake entertainer', graced the occasion with party hits.
At one point, the performer even encouraged other guests to stomp the dancefloor and shake off their sorrow.
The bizarre send-off, which took place on July 6, was all caught on camera.
El Cangri later posted the clip on Instagram, where it racked up 4.3 million views and nearly 8,000 comments.
Social media hilariously chimed in with one comment saying: 'Hi bro, I'm going to die on 23 July. Are you available?'
Another added: 'They are very young, but in my time we cried at funerals.'
A third joked, 'Widow finds five new loves… at the wake.'
Others weren't so impressed. One commentator fumed: 'We can see how that stupid music makes people stupid.'
But not everyone was clutching their pearls. Another social media user wrote: 'I've performed funerals and wakes, but always from a very different tone to what this video shows.
'I've never had the opportunity to capture a farewell from such a luminous, vivid perspective.'

The reason Sophie didn't attend Princess Diana's tragic funeral revealed by royal insiders
A royal insider has revealed the 'caring and thoughtful' reason that Sophie decided not to attend Princess Diana 's funeral. It was the most tragic royal funeral of the 20th century when the members of the Royal Family gathered for the funeral of Princess Diana who died in a Paris car crash aged just 36. Billions of mourners watched the proceedings including the deeply sad images of the young Prince Harry and Prince William walking behind their late mother's coffin. Inside Westminster Abbey the boys were joined by their father, the then Prince Charles, their grandmother Queen Elizabeth II and most of the other senior royals. However, one person that was missing from the proceedings was Prince Edward 's girlfriend Sophie. This was despite the fact the couple had been dating since 1993. Writing in his new biography about the Duchess of Edinburgh 's life - titled Sophie - author Sean Smith has revealed that Sophie chose not to attend the funeral because she thought it would be 'too upsetting for the crowd' due to how remarkably similar her and Diana looked in 1997. Smith wrote: 'She had an obvious and reasonable excuse: a friend at the Palace explained, "Sophie decided it would be too upsetting for the crowd if she went. '"She's well aware that she looks like Princess Diana from a distance and made her decision in a caring and thoughtful way. The Royal Family fully supported".' Before the Princess of Wales' sudden death in 1997 it had been widely remarked that Sophie was a remarkable doppelganger of Diana. Smith said: 'One of the reasons Sophie's impression of Diana was so good is that they bore more than a passing resemblance to one another - a comparison neither woman enjoyed.' This was mostly due to them both being blond and having their hair cut in a short bob style that was all the rage in the late 1990s. 'In retrospect, Sophie having her hair clipped short in a Diana-style blonde bob was probably a mistake,' the royal insider wrote. 'Diana had the height and physical presence to carry it off. Fashion expert Alison Jane Reid observed, "Sophie looked more appealing when her hair was shoulder length and blunt cut. You could not beat Diana's hair. It was superb".' At the time, Sophie was criticised for looking too similar to the People's Princess. With royal commentator Judy Wade declaring that Sophie should 'get her own look'. 'She chose red dresses that were almost identical to things that Diana wore. She seemed to be copying Diana, and Diana was sort of partly amused and partly irritated by it,' said Judy. Indeed, Diana was somewhat annoyed by how similar Sophie looked to her. Diana in a red dress in 1990 and Sophie wearing a similar dress in the late 90s. Sophie was criticised for looking too similar to the People's Princess. With royal commentator Judy Wade declaring that Sophie should 'get her own look' Princess Diana and Sophie wearing sunglasses and sporting similar haircuts. Their hair was the most notable similarity between the two with them both being blond and having their it cut in a short bob style that was all the rage in the late 1990s Smith claimed that when she saw Sophie approaching Diana would say: 'Oh look , here comes my double' or 'Here comes Miss Goody Two Shoes'. But while they might have looked similar, personality wise they clashed. 'The two women did not like each other,' Smith said. 'The polite description of their relationship, as preferred by the more diplomatic of Sophie's friends, was to say that there was "no love lost" between them.' According to Smith, Diana disliked Sophie because she was a 'middle class girl from Kent who might succeed whereshe, an authentic aristocrat, had so abjectly failed'. He added: 'As a mutual acquaintance put it, "Diana came into the Royal Family as a teenage lamb and she has left it as a lion. The young Diana had never been in the real world. Sophie met Edward when she was a mature, well-travelled woman with a career. '"She's been around a bit. She was always going to deal with things better than Diana Spencer".' The feelings were mutual with Diana's actions leaving Sophie in a 'rage' during a trip to Windsor to see the Queen. 'Nothing summed up the situation better than what began as an innocuous afternoon tea with the Queen at Windsor Castle, attended by both Sophie and Diana, who came with her children, William and Harry,' Smith wrote. 'Every time an animated Sophie started to say something, Diana would begin speaking herself, which meant Sophie had to keep quiet - it is a ridiculous tradition that if a more senior Royal starts talking, the junior Royal has to shut up and keep quiet. 'After what seemed like an age of being silenced by Diana, Sophie could stand no more and, having obtained the Queen's permission to leave, strode back to Edward's apartment seething with rage.' Despite the comparison to Diana which dogged her time as a new royal, Sophie has been able to carve out her own unique role within the family. Sophie reportedly became the Queen's 'favourite daughter-in-law' and she was the monarch's 'rock' following the death of Prince Philip in 2021. When the Queen passed away, Sophie was heartbroken, with her and Edward describing their loss for the woman they both called 'Mama' as leaving 'an unimaginable void in all our lives'. Sophie has played a key role in holding the monarchy together amidst family feuds, the Duke of York's scandals, and the cancer diagnoses of the King and the Princess of Wales. A patron of more than 70 charities and organisations, Sophie is especially recognised for her advocacy on issues including sexual violence in war-torn countries and sight loss awareness. Her passion for promoting eye health stems from her daughter, who was born prematurely and developed esotropia - a condition that causes one or both eyes to turn inwards and make someone appear cross-eyed.

Hulk Hogan's heartbroken widow tearfully embraces loved ones as she is seen for the first time since WWE icon's fatal cardiac arrest
The grief-stricken widow of Hulk Hogan has been seen for the first time since the WWE legend died suddenly from cardiac arrest. Sky Daily, 46, was spotted hours after her husband died outside their home in Clearwater, Florida, as she was being comforted by her loved ones. The following morning, the widow and mother-of-three was seen pacing outside a friend's home while speaking on the phone, as revealed in these exclusive photos. At one point, she paused and raised her hand to her chest, appearing to reflect on the love she shared with her late husband, whom she quietly married just two years ago. Dressed in black leggings, a T-shirt dedicated to country music legend Morgan Wallen and an orange 'Sunshine State' baseball cap that she's been photographed in before, her grief was palpable. Her friend's $3.2million six-bedroom home was close to the waterfront in Clearwater Beach, and less than two miles from the mansion she shared with Hulk, who died aged 71. She drove there in a white Audi RS7 from the $9million home where Hulk collapsed on Thursday morning before being taken by paramedics to hospital where he was declared dead. The 46-year-old widow appeared grief stricken with her tear streaked, swollen face and usually straight, blonde hair thrown up into a messy bun the day before as her loved ones arrived to comfort her The legend's third wife then went inside the pal's place before returning to the beachfront mansion, where she accepted a massive bouquet of flowers being delivered as she arrived. Her physical appearance, although solemn, was in contrast to the previous evening when she opened the door to friends who consoled her for the terrible loss. With her long blonde locks pushed up into a bun and wearing no make-up, she looked down and appeared to be battling tears as the pair hugged and held her close. At one point, the unidentified woman appeared to steady Sky with a hand pressed to her chest, helping her stay upright as she was visibly overcome with emotion. It was a poignantly heartbreaking moment just hours after she'd lost the man who made such an impact on his sport, the world of celebrity – and lately politics with his support of President Donald Trump. Sky was exclusively photographed by shortly amid her posting a heart-rending tribute, admitting: 'I wasn't ready for this… and my heart is in pieces. 'He had been dealing with some health issues, but I truly believed we would overcome them. I had so much faith in his strength. I though we still had more time. 'The loss is sudden and impossible to process. To the world, he was a legend. But to me, he was my Terry. The man I loved. My partner. My heart. 'Hulk loved his fans so much and despite his growing physical discomfort, he did everything he could to show up, sign autographs, take photos, and connect with the people who supported him through it all. You meant everything to him.' She continued: 'He was a believer in Christ, and I take comfort knowing his soul is at peace and he's been welcomed home.' Sky was Hogan's third wife, marrying the former wrestler in 2023 following his divorces from ex-wives Linda Hogan and Jennifer McDaniel in 2009 and 2021 respectively. Hogan is also survived by his two children, Brooke, 36, and Nick, 34, whom he shared with his first wife Linda, as well as two grandchildren. The wrestling icon's shock death comes just weeks after Sky denied rumors he was on his deathbed in a coma - and claimed his heart was 'strong' after he underwent a routine neck surgery. The wrestling legend's third wife then stepped inside her friend's home before returning to the couple's beachfront mansion, where she was seen accepting a massive bouquet of flowers upon arrival. In the post, Sky wrote how she believed Hogan would overcome his health problems and that the sudden loss was 'impossible to process' Hogan knew he was suffering from health problems including a weak heart and shortness of breath in the weeks before his passing on Thursday, an insider said His representative said in a statement last month: 'He's had problems with his back for years but there's no emergency.' A source also revealed to last month that Hogan was trying to work his way back to '100 percent' after neck and back operations. 'Hulk has a body ravaged by wrestling, his body is the body of a 140-year-old man with all the bumps and bruises through the years, and his recent neck and back surgeries have been harder to come back from,' a source close to Hogan said. Linda, who married Hogan in 1983, shared her own touching message for the athlete and entertained just days before his death. In her final Instagram post before Hogan's passing, Linda shared a photo of herself and the 'Hulkster' from the 1980s, which she captioned: 'The good old days !' Her post came just months after Hogan's very public fallout with Linda and their daughter Brooke. In an astonishing video on social media shared back in March, Linda first accused her former husband of being a 'complete liar' and 'sex addict'. She also claimed their family is 'in the worst mess' after Brooke cut both parents out of her life, before hitting back at her mom by alleging that her dad was not the only reason behind the shocking family divide, claiming she was 'verbally and mentally abused' during her childhood. 'Sadly, it would frequently turn physical. And sometimes it's not by the person you would assume, abuse comes in all shapes and sizes,' Brooke alleged. After Brooke's stunning response, Linda then took a dramatic U-turn by defending Hogan and branding her daughter a 'narcissist.' Hogan and Linda were married for 26 years between 1983 and 2009. Hogan remarried in 2010, tying the knot with Jennifer McDaniel, but they split 11 years later. He married his third wife - Sky - in 2023, in a ceremony that Brooke did not attend.
