Aldi reintroduces temporarily discontinued Mamia nappies
The supermarket giant has discontinued several products recently, much to the disappointment of shoppers.

Aldi also "temporarily" discontinued several of its Mamia nappies recently due to a "logistical issue".
The main products affected, according to shoppers, were the size 7 and 8 Mamia Ultra-Fit Nappy Pants.
Others have reported visiting several Aldi stores and finding all the nappy shelves empty.

Shoppers have taken to X (formerly Twitter) to voice their complaints and ask Aldi why these nappies were out of stock.
One person, posting on X, wrote: "Hi @AldiUK is there a supply issue with your pull up nappies? I've tried three stores over the last few days with no joy.
"I am looking for 8s."
People have reported finding "completely empty" shelves when shopping for some Mamia nappies in Aldi stores across the UK. (Image: Shaun Fellows/Shine Pix) Another shopper added: "@AldiUK any ideas when your size 8 pull up nappies will be back? In desperate need!!!!!!!"
A third person commented: "@AldiUK Is there a stock issue with the Mamia pull up nappies in a size 7?
"I've tried 5 stores, 2 in Wales, and 3 in England…..but all of the nappy shelves are completely empty."

Despite shoppers still reporting some difficulties finding the previously discontinued baby products, Aldi has revealed it has begun rolling out stock of the nappies to stores across the country.

Among the eight supermarkets, it has been proven that shoppers can enjoy the taste of a product without spending a fortune by choosing popular brands. The best supermarket ketchup was named Asda's Classic Tomato Ketchup, receiving a total score of 77%. The site explained: "According to our tasters, this budget-friendly ketchup from Asda is just as good as Heinz, despite being a fraction of the price." "It was a big hit overall, scoring top marks across the board, with most finding it had well-balanced tanginess, sweetness and strength of flavour," it continued. Costing £1 per 550g, it proved to be a strong rival, and of course, the winner. Even better, Asda's Classic Tomato Ketchup has less salt and sugar than Heinz's ketchup. Nonetheless, Heinz did prove to be the Best, achieving the top overall score in the taste test alongside Asda. The site explained: "Not only was it one of the most appealing-looking ketchups, our tasters also rated it highly for texture and flavour: more than two-thirds were satisfied with its tanginess and sweetness." That explains its popularity. In second and third place, it was Waitrose 's Essential Tomato Ketchup and Aldi's Bramwells Tomato Ketchup, both scoring 75% and 73%, respectively. In last place, it was Marks and Spencer's Tomato Ketchup, as some testers found it to be "too thick, dark and tangy." The review concluded: "You might not think a dollop of ketchup can't do too much harm, but it's worth keeping an eye on sugar and salt levels…' "...If you're watching your salt or sugar intake, you may want to consider buying a ketchup that reduces those ingredients."

Edinburgh distillery to produce Aldi's gin 'that celebrates the Scottish spirit'
The distillery will make Aldi's Toradh Gin and add six new flavours, starting at £13.99 Summerhall Distillery in Edinburgh has been named as the latest Scottish producer to join Aldi's growing line-up of local suppliers and will now exclusively produce the supermarket's popular Toradh Gin range. The award-winning distillery, which operates from the repurposed old dog kennels of the former Royal (Dick) Vet School, is best known for its signature Pickering's Gin, Edinburgh Live reports. First launched in 2013, Pickering's is based on a handwritten Bombay recipe from 1947 and helped put the capital back on the UK's gin map. In a new deal with Aldi Scotland, Summerhall Distillery will now take on production of the retailer's Toradh Gin collection and introduce six new flavour expressions to the range, with prices starting at £13.99. The gin will form a core part of Aldi's premium spirits offering. Matt Gammell, co-founder of Summerhall Distillery, said: 'We're absolutely thrilled to be working with Aldi Scotland as part of its commitment to championing local producers. "As one of Edinburgh's earliest gin distilleries in recent years, we've watched the industry flourish and are proud to be part of such a dynamic Scottish drinks scene.
