Zach Gowen Reacts To Ricochet Assaulting Him In Front Of His Family
Zach Gowen returns to the ring for the first time in almost a year to face Ricochet this Wednesday on AEW Dynamite.
Thursday night on AEW Collision, Ricochet mocked Zach Gowen in front of his family as they sat at ringside for the event. As Ricochet attacked security who tried to diffuse the situation, Gowen hit the ring but was overwhelmed by Ricochet, who stole his leg in the process. This altercation will lead to a match between the two men in Chicago at the Dynamite: Beach Break special.

Following the attack on Thursday, Zach Gowen spoke to AEW for social media with his children at his side, delivering a very inspiring and powerful message ahead of his match against Ricochet.
'You know, life always seems to put me in impossible situations to overcome. Yet I always overcome,' Zach Gowen said. 'The Gowens always overcome. It's what we do. Overcoming cancer to become the world's first one-legged professional wrestling superstar. Climbing a mountain with 11 other amputees.
'It doesn't matter you put a challenge in front of me, I'm going to overcome. This is what I teach my boys: that life is not about what happens to us. Life is about how we respond to what happens to us. And Ricochet, it's time for me to overcome one more time, because you're going to see me, Zach Gowen, in an AEW ring next Wednesday.'

Hikuleo Debuts At WWE Night Of Champions, Costs Jacob Fatu The US Title
Solo Sikoa had a lot of backup this afternoon, including the WWE debut of Hikuleo to defeat Jacob Fatu for the United States Championship. The numbers game was against the Samoan Werewolf at Night of Champions when Sikoa enlisted the help of JC Mateo, the returning Tanga Loa, and the debuting Hikuleo to become the new United States Champion for the first time. Advertisement The finish of the match saw Hikuleo get involved when the referee's back was turned. He chokeslammed Jacob Fatu on the commentary table before tossing him into Sikoa, who hit the Samoan Spike to pick up the pinfall victory. It should be noted that Michael Cole and Wade Barrett refused to call him by his New Japan name. So, another potential name change could be on the horizon. What WWE might use is anyone's guess, but they did trademark the name Talla Tonga last year. Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more on Hikuleo's WWE debut as it becomes available. WWE Night Of Champions Results As Jade Cargill Wins Queen Of The Ring Over Asuka
Jade Cargill vs Asuka Jade Cargill fended off a hostile Saudi crowd to defeat Asuka and become 2025 Queen of the Ring at WWE Night of Champions. After the match, Jade said "A storm was coming' for SummerSlam." Jade Cargill is in the midst of the biggest sustained push of her WWE career to date. After being one of the early AEW free agent signings following a historic run in All Elite Wrestling, Cargill has shown flashes of brilliance while learning the ropes of the wrestling business. 'Jade is… I have no less belief in her now than I did then,' said Triple H during a Survivor Series post-show in 2023. 'It's interesting when she came in we talked about her development and where she would land but what the development was. I want to make sure that no matter what is thrown at Jade Cargill she's ready. And, at no fault of her own, I think she was limited in that, right? So the idea is, we exposed her, we made her be seen, people are understanding, and they're waiting, and they're excited for her to come. When she does, it's going to be massive.' In today's wrestling landscape, the learning curve is far steeper given the lack of WWE house shows, not to mention Jade went straight to the main roster. Given her experience, Cargill is an excellent pro wrestler with massive potential. Expectations for Jade are borderline unreasonable, and patience is a virtue in WWE as evidenced by all the times Karrion Kross was allowed to fall on his face for years before finally finding his voice. Now in a feud with Naomi and on her way to a world title match against Tiffany Stratton, Cargill's time has come. Though she was at her best as a cocky, overdog heel, Jade Cargill is one of the more popular babyfaces in WWE, and seems to be closing in on her first singles championship. That is, until Naomi inevitably cashes in, thereby continuing her first long-term feud in WWE, which is more important than any title. Naomi is heating up and doing the best work of her career as a heel. This is good for Jade Cargill as long as Naomi doesn't do too good of a job as a heel to where she is cheered. After being thrown into the deep end, only an injury slowed down Jade Cargill, and she has parlayed that return into a major WrestleMania win over Naomi, followed by her first Queen of the Ring.

He announced an extended break from touring in June 2023, after the emotional rollercoaster of his Glastonbury performance. In 2023, streaming giant Netflix released a documentary Lewis Capaldi: How I'm Feeling Now, which delved into his life after achieving stardom and spending his teen years on tour. In a statement, posted on his Instagram account on New Year's Eve 2023, Lewis said that he planned to 'make sure I'm 100% before getting back out there properly'. He wrote: 'For now I'm going to continue taking some time to carry on looking after myself, maybe writing some music and taking a moment to reflect on some of the most incredible years of my life. 'I want to make absolutely sure I'm 100% before getting back out there again properly for more shows and doing what I love more than anything!'
