New Delhi: A day after plunging around 7 per cent, Shares of pharma company Sigachi Industries Ltd., India's largest producer of Microcrystalline Cellulose (MCC), rebounded on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, even as the market remained volatile as investors turned cautious amid tensions in the Middle East. The counter opened in the red with a slight loss at Rs 54.75 against the previous close of Rs 54.82 on the BSE. The stock gained to touch the intraday high of Rs 56.15. On the NSE, the stock started trading at Rs 54.68 and touched a high of Rs 56.22. The stock of Sigachi Industries had tanked 6.88 per cent in the last trading session.
The stock has a 52-week high of Rs 69.75, indicating the highest price the stock has reached in the past year, and a 52-week low of Rs 34.51, which is the lowest price the stock has reached in the same period. The market cap of the company is Rs 1,797.28 crore. Share Price History

However, Shanghai's SSE Composite index and Hong Kong's Hang Seng are quoting lower, indicating a mixed market sentiment.
US markets ended lower on Tuesday. Global oil benchmark Brent crude climbed 0.44 per cent to USD 76.79 a barrel.

MUMBAI: ICICI Lombard General Insurance has reported a net profit of Rs 746.6 crore in the June quarter, up a strong 47.6% from Rs 505.9 crore in the same period a year ago, as the company had lower claims and higher premium collection from the staple motor segment. The surge was primarily driven by higher investment income and a recovery in underwriting performance, particularly in the motor segment, the company said in a statement Tuesday. Gross written premium during the quarter inched up 1.5% to Rs 805 crore from Rs 793 crore in the same quarter last year, while net written premium rose to Rs 561 crore, up 4.7% from Rs 536 crore and the net premium earned came in at Rs 513.6 crore, up 14%. Total income surged to Rs 608 crore in Q1 from Rs 535 crore, bolstered by a sharp rise in investment income. Net income from investments increased to Rs 94.3 crore, up 11.6 percent from Rs 84.45 crore.

RVNL Share Price: In a major development, Rail Vikas Nigam Limited has signed a significant deal with the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation. As per the Rs 447 crore contract, RVNL will complete the work of designing a 7.29 km long bridge and constructing 7 metro stations within 36 months. This is the third big contract for the state-owned company in 10 days. Earlier, RVNL had received contracts worth Rs 800 crore during the same period. The company secured this contract under Delhi MRTS Phase-4, whose total value is Rs 447.42 crore. Notably, after South Railway and South Central Railway, RVNL has received a major contract from the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC). What Is The Deal Made Between RVNL And DMRC? According to the Letter of Acceptance (LoA), RVNL has to complete the designing and construction work of 7.29 km long bridge for DMRC in 36 months. The contract also includes the construction of seven stations, namely – Pushp Vihar, Pushp Bhawan, Saket District Court, Chirag Delhi, GK-1, Andrews Ganj and Lajpat Nagar Metro. With back-to-back major contracts, the RVNL shares are expected to rise further in the coming days. Which Contracts Did RVNL Receive In 10 Days? On July 5, RVNL received its first big contract of Rs 143 crore from South Railway. After that South Central Railway awarded the state-owned company with Rs 213 crore contract on July 11. The third major contract was signed with DMRC, worth Rs 447 crore. The total value of these three contracts is over Rs 803 crore.
