Samsung Galaxy tri-foldable's RAM and processor leak

Samsung's Galaxy S25 series continued the trend of shipping with 12 GB of RAM, even though the Galaxy S21 Ultra had 16 GB of RAM years ago. But there are now reports claiming that the Galaxy S26 will have 16 GB of RAM as an option. The Galaxy G Fold tri-foldable may beat the S26 line to the punch, however. A reliable source has 'confirmed' that the phone will have 16 GB of RAM as standard.

16GB RAM https://t.co/RYYx1NbkLe — PandaFlash (@PandaFlashPro) June 24, 2025 Samsung's decision to use only a Snapdragon processor isn't too surprising, either. The Galaxy G Fold is likely going to see a very limited release in only a select few regions. If the reports of these regions being just Korea and China are true, then Samsung will pull all the stops.Similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 6 SE, the G Fold will boast the strongest hardware that Samsung can get its hands on. This is crucial because competition from domestic brands in China is stronger than ever, and Samsung needs to stand out.
The Galaxy G Fold will compete directly with the Huawei Mate XT. | Video credit — Huawei Samsung has allegedly decided to subdue its sales expectations for the tri-foldable. This is because this phone is going to cost a lot, and the foldable industry is already not doing so great. Some reports have said that the company will only produce 200,000 units for the initial run.The Galaxy G Fold may eventually see a global release, but that depends heavily on how it performs at launch. If, like the Fold and Flip lines, it fails to meet sales expectations, then Samsung may decide to hold off on an international launch. At least until a more affordable successor can be made.
It's direct rival — the Huawei Mate XT — also saw a limited and expensive launch. However, that phone sold over 400,000 units and is reportedly getting a sequel this year. I think that there is a lot that Samsung can do for innovation. Most tech enthusiasts, and perhaps even average consumers, might agree that they would rather see larger batteries and faster charging. However, Samsung continues to innovate in the wrong direction. The Galaxy tri-foldable will have disappointing battery specs, including very slow charging speeds. Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 is also said to be equipped with the same 4,400 mAh battery as its predecessor: the Galaxy Z Fold 6 .
And then, this year, Samsung introduced a new flagship model, the Galaxy S25 Edge. A super slim phone, it packs a 3,900 mAh battery and costs around the same as a Galaxy S25 Ultra . In other news, the Galaxy S25 Edge isn't selling well, and Samsung has begun to cut down on its production.
I, personally, would have much preferred a slightly thicker phone with a bigger battery pack. Or, a phone that is the same thickness as a Galaxy S24 Ultra, but comes with a higher-density battery.
Unfortunately, both Samsung and Apple are innovating in aspects that most consumers don't care about. Hence, I think we can all see where the iPhone 17 Air is headed. Secure your connection now at a bargain price!

Galaxy S26 Ultra camera leak suggests Samsung might play it safe
Samsung's next premium flagship, the Galaxy S26 Ultra, is now starting to show up more and more in leaks and rumors. We've recently heard its battery may be disappointing, or at least – well, the same as previous years – and now, a new report is giving us info about the phone's telephoto camera. And, well, it doesn't seem too exciting either. The report comes from GalaxyClub and indicates that the Galaxy S26 Ultra may come with a 50MP telephoto camera with a 5x optical zoom lens. Reportedly, it is also a 1/2.52-inch sensor with 0.7µm pixels, PDAF, and OIS. Well, this is the same telephoto camera that Samsung used in the Galaxy S25 Ultra. And in the Galaxy S24 Ultra too. There were rumors earlier that Samsung may use a 200MP ISOCELL sensor for the Galaxy S26 Ultra 's telephoto camera. This isn't entirely out of the question just yet, as the S26 Ultra may have two telephoto camera units. For now, what we expect with a certain level of trustworthiness is that one of these two telephoto units has a 50MP sensor. The other one has not leaked yet. The Galaxy S25 Ultra's cameras. | Image Credit – PhoneArena The Galaxy S25 Ultra upgraded the 12MP ultrawide camera from the previous model to a 50MP ultrawide one. It is very likely that the same ultrawide will be available for the Galaxy S26 Ultra as well. The main camera may also be the same 200MP one, as per rumors. So, right now, the biggest mystery is this second telephoto sensor, and hopefully, there we can see an upgrade. Meanwhile, an earlier report indicated Samsung may bring variable aperture back on the Galaxy S26 Ultra , but as an early report that is yet to be corroborated, we should take this with a grain of salt. It's also possible for Samsung to use thinner camera modules for the phone to achieve a slim-chic profile. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to be announced sometime in early next year. It will face the yet-unannounced iPhone 17 Pro Max in the battle for the best phone on the market. For now, it seems Samsung may not be planning to upgrade the cameras on its beast, but rumors indicate some nice upgrades for the iPhone, so the Korean company may have a tough challenge to beat. I personally think that if Samsung really sticks with the same camera setup for the third year in a row, it might disappoint fans who were hoping for something fresh and exciting. Even though the current sensors are solid, people expect innovation from a flagship like the S26 Ultra – especially when competitors like Apple are rumored to be stepping things up. Hopefully, that second telephoto camera brings a real surprise. Secure your connection now at a bargain price! We may earn a commission if you make a purchase Check Out The Offer

Samsung's next Galaxy Buds may be skipping 2025
There seems to be a shift in how Samsung releases its wireless earbuds. Reportedly, Samsung's Galaxy Buds 4 are set to launch with the Galaxy S26 series in the first quarter of 2026. So far, new Galaxy Buds models have been launched around the summer or early autumn. But it seems that the highly-awaited Galaxy Buds 4 may not come now: they are reportedly going to join the Galaxy S26 announcement in early 2026. The info comes from a recent report from Galaxy Club. The publication reports that yes, Samsung is indeed working on a new pair of premium earbuds. But their development timeline hints they are far from ready for a debut this year. Apparently, all signs are showing that the Galaxy Buds 4 may make their debut at the first Unpacked for 2026: the one when we expect the Galaxy S26 to arrive. Pretty much, so far it seems you can expect a January or February launch. This may be a strategic shift by Samsung. If the reported info is true, Samsung would make it so it starts 2026 with a full ecosystem refresh. Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. | Image Credit – PhoneArena There's also an opportunity to showcase new AI-powered features for audio that may integrate with the Galaxy S26 . Also, this would make an attractive bundle for Samsung fans: a new Galaxy and new Galaxy Buds for an exceptional Galaxy experience... maybe. We'll see. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Buds 4's specs are yet to leak or be rumored, and we have no details about them at the moment. After all, it's quite early for any concrete information. Speculation online hints that Samsung may be planning something big for its next earbuds, with some people suggesting Ultra-Wideband (UWB) tech. It's not entirely ungrounded as Samsung filed a patent this year that hinted at UWB connectivity for earbuds. UWB connectivity would enable things like real-time spatial audio positioning, ultra-precise tracking similar to Apple's Find My, and smarter auto-switching between Galaxy devices. But at this moment, this is just speculation and not confirmed for the Galaxy Buds 4. Meanwhile, Samsung is gearing up to release its new foldable phones – the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 – next week. Secure your connection now at a bargain price! Counterpoint: Huawei and Apple lead China's Q2 smartphone shipments
The Chinese smartphone market saw negligible growth during the April–June months with a mere 1% increase in total shipments compared to the same period last year. According to the latest Counterpoint Research report, Huawei and Apple are expected to lead all companies in terms of year-over-year growth. Counterpoint Research China Smartphone Weekly Sales Tracker Huawei is expected to lead all brands with 12% growth in shipments. The figure is mainly attributed to strong demand for its devices during the annual 618 shopping festival as well as the ongoing government subsidy program. The national subsidy program covers smartphones, tablets, smart bands, and smartwatches priced below CNY 6,000 ($820) and offers a one-time discount of up to CNY 500 ($68). The one underlying issue is that the program could be scaled back in the second half of the year. Apple is the only other top-five brand that's expected to see positive shipments for the Q2 period, with an estimated 8% growth. Apple saw increased demand for its iPhone 16 series in May thanks to discounts just ahead of China's 618 shopping festival. Source
