When Aditya Pancholi spoke about how he fell in love with Kangana Ranaut despite being married to Zarina Wahab; claims he gave her Rs 55 lakh to buy a house
Aditya Pancholi
comes from a film family that owned Pancholi Arts, once the largest studio in pre-partition Lahore. He began his acting career with the TV show Shahadat in 1985 and rose to fame with Dayavaan in 1988.
Over the years, he played key roles in films like Yes Boss, Hameshaa, Baaghi, Race 2, Jai Ho, and Bajirao Mastani. However, his personal life often made more headlines than his film career.
A Married Man Linked With Many Actresses
The actor is married to former actress
Zarina Wahab
, and the couple has two children —
Sooraj Pancholi
and Sana Pancholi. Despite being married, Aditya has often been linked to several Bollywood actresses. Among these, his relationship with
Kangana Ranaut
drew the most attention.
The controversy escalated when Kangana accused him of physical abuse.
Living Together & Financial Support
When Kangana Ranaut entered the film industry, her relationship with Aditya Pancholi quickly became a hot topic. Despite being married, Aditya reportedly fell in love with Kangana, and the two even began living together. In a 2008 interview with Mumbai Mirror, Aditya claimed he gave her Rs 55 lakh in cash to help her buy a house.
Aditya Recalls How It All Began
Aditya also spoke about how his relationship with Kangana Ranaut began, describing it as close as that of a husband and wife. He claimed he was building a house for the two of them on Yari Road and that they lived together for three years at a friend's home. Recalling their first meeting, Aditya said he saw her on the road one rainy day when she approached him and introduced herself. He remembered that a mutual friend had once asked him to help her when she arrived in Mumbai.
According to him, Kangana kept calling him until he finally agreed to meet. At the time, he said she was a sweet small-town girl, and he eventually fell in love with her.
In the same interview, the actor also opened up about a troubling phase in his relationship with Kangana Ranaut. He claimed that during the shooting of Shakalaka Boom Boom, he discovered flirtatious messages sent by her to another actor. Aditya admitted that the messages upset him deeply, especially because she had used similar words with him in the past.
He confessed that this led to a violent outburst — the first time he hit her.
Despite the fight, he said they eventually made up afterward.
Kangana's Painful Account of Abuse
Kangana, meanwhile, has openly spoken about the trauma she faced during her relationship with Aditya Pancholi. She has described it as an abusive and painful chapter in her life, which began when she was just 17. Kangana once revealed that Aditya had physically assaulted her so badly that she was left bleeding, and she often tried to escape his control. She also shared that he would stalk her constantly. Hoping for support, Kangana approached Aditya's wife, Zarina Wahab, believing she might help her out of the situation.
However, she was disappointed when Zarina not only refused to help but also denied that there was any romantic relationship between Kangana and Aditya.

‘They don't respect us': Kangana Ranaut opens up about MPs' ‘struggles', claims panchayats and MLAs have bigger budgets
Be it for the right or wrong reasons, it's doubtful whether contemporary Bollywood has anyone who can make headlines quite like Kangana Ranaut. Even her Instagram stories often grab significant attention, let alone her interviews. After her much-delayed visit to her flood-hit parliamentary constituency of Mandi in Himachal Pradesh drew widespread criticism, Kangana's unfiltered admission that she isn't enjoying her first stint as an MP raised further eyebrows. She even described politics as a 'very expensive hobby'. What drew the most criticism, however, was a comment she made during her visit to Mandi, where she stated that she does not have any official Cabinet to provide disaster relief. Recently, the actor-turned-politician went a step further, claiming that even panchayats and Members of Legislative Assemblies (MLAs) have larger budgets than Members of Parliament (MPs). She also alleged that nobody respects parliamentarians. 'A lot of MPs end up feeling very frustrated, and we talk to each other (about such matters). It's not like others have some privileges; you just struggle with a lot. You (the MPs) are the connecting link between the state and the Centre. So, you are basically nowhere. We are like twilight,' she claimed during a chat with Times Now, emphasising that parliamentarians are often left 'floundering' in the middle. 'When you go to your state, you don't have a single place where you're grounded or connected, or where you're running a project. And when you go to the Centre, you're always waiting in queues outside ministers' offices. A lot of MPs also complain that even a panchayat or an MLA has a lot more budget than an MP. They don't respect us,' she alleged. Highlighting the establishment of District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committees (DISHAs) as a welcome development, she added, 'The job (of an MP) demands a lot of communication. DISHA is a huge step. If we did not have the privilege or power to ask the deputy commissioner or those who clearly work under the state government, it (the position of a parliamentarian) would be a redundant place to be in. It (DISHA) was, I think, created because of this frustration: 'What's our place and work? What are we supposed to do and where?' Also, MLAs are very territorial, and ministers are preoccupied with a lot of businesses. Meanwhile, you (MPs) are in the middle, floundering.'

When Chirag Paswan said Kangana Ranaut's USP is that she isn't ‘politically correct': ‘She knows kya bolna hai kab bolna hai'
Chirag Paswan and Kangana Ranaut might now be more widely recognised for their roles in politics, but there was a time when movies shaped their bond. Before stepping into the political ring, the two worked together in the 2011 romantic drama 'Mile Na Mile Hum', directed by Tanveer Khan. It was Chirag's first film, and alongside Kangana, the cast included Neeru Bajwa and Sagarika Ghatge . Though the film did not leave a significant mark at the box office, it did forge a connection between Kangana and Chirag that continues to this day. Chirag said Kangana isn't always 'politically correct' Chirag was shown a photo of Kangana in a past chat on an ANI Podcast. With a smile, he called her a 'good friend'. When asked if Kangana could make a difference as an MP, Chirag shared, 'One thing I know for sure is that most of the time she isn't politically correct but that's her USP again. She talks her…' His light-hearted yet honest words showed the respect he has for Kangana's fearless style. 'She knows what to speak and when' Chirag didn't stop there. Praising Kangana's sharp sense, he added, 'She knows kya bolna hai kab bolna hai. Ab woh politically correct ho, nahi ho woh debatable ho sakta hai (She knows what to speak and when to speak. But whether it is politically correct or not could be debatable).' When someone jumped in to say Kangana just says what she thinks, Chirag quickly agreed and pointed out that it was Kangana's 'USP'. He also sweetly added, 'we all like her for this'. Soon after his debut film, Chirag moved on to a career in politics. Meanwhile, Kangana was last seen in her directorial project 'Emergency'. While the film got mixed reviews, many people loved her performance. Up next, Kangana is all set for her Hollywood debut in the horror drama 'Blessed Be the Evil', alongside Tyler Posey and Scarlet Rose Stallone.

Kangana Ranaut thinks you're a ‘moron' if you believe equality is a positive concept: ‘A woman isn't equal to a man, Ambani isn't equal to me'
Kangana Ranaut is accustomed to making headlines with her bold statements. This time, the actor shared her understanding of equality, acknowledging that it could lead to another controversy. In an interview with Times Now, she discussed her life as an MP, and her understanding of the social issues in the country. When asked about 'equality', Kangana said, 'You are making me talk about controversial things, but I think, since the world has started to believe that we are all equal, we have only produced a generation of morons.' To justify her statement, she pointed at the interviewer and said, 'You have so much more experience than me in this field. You are not equal to me when it comes to art. I am not equal to my mother. I am not equal to Ambani ji. He is not equal to me because I have four National Awards. Everybody is different. And we can learn from everybody.' She further explained, 'When I sit next to a labourer, I think this person has so much more tolerance than me. I am not equal to that person. A child is not equal to the woman, a woman is not equal to the man. A man is not equal to the elderly person in the family. We all have different roles and we are all different.' They don't even have admiration for their bosses who may have 25 year experience in the same field. And the result is a generation of idiots, who don't even want a promotion because they don't want more work.' Just a couple of days ago, Kangana spoke about her helplessness in providing aid for her disaster-hit district, Mandi. She told ANI, 'I do not have any funds for disaster relief or hold any cabinet post. MPs have work that was limited to Parliament. We are very small in the scheme of things. But, I can help to get disaster funds from the Centre.' This didn't go down well, however, she reasserted her stance in an interview with India Today, 'I told the reality to the people about what is in my hands and what is not. As an MP, we have to raise our concerns and bring funds. I have an ambit. I told the people that our party will fulfill all the people's needs.' Her statement on equality stands in contrast to what she said in 2018 when she participated in a Q&A session at the Indian pavilion at the Cannes film festival, conducted by Prasoon Joshi. Today, an actor and an actress do the same job. This has made people question, 'If they are working as equals, then why aren't they getting the status of equals?' This has brought about a certain shift in the perspective of audiences.' In a conversation with India Today, the actor had shared, 'I have been talking about these issues for a long time, but no one took notice. It is a hopeless place. I have put everything at stake–from my career to my choices. I have two cases on me. I started the MeToo movement, which didn't go anywhere. I fought for pay parity and rejected Khan, Kapoor, and Kumar films, but these women attacked me.' Kangana Ranaut will be soon seen in a psychological thriller with her Tanu Weds Manu co-star R Madhavan.
