Delighted Kerry fans to welcome GAA team home with parade from Tralee to Killarney
The Kingdom lifted their 39th All-Ireland title after a 1-26 to 0-19 win over Donegal in Croke Park yesterday.
The Kerry team and the Sam Maguire cup will travel across Kerry on an open top bus this evening, arriving in Tralee around 6pm before continuing on to Killarney, where they will land at 8.30pm.
The night will end with celebrations at the Gleneagle Hotel, beginning at 9pm, where the team and supporters can attend a céilí and disco with DJ Donal.
In Tralee, the bus will travel through Boherbee and Castle Street to a welcome home reception on stage at the Ashe Hall on Denny Street at around 6pm today.
There will be live music on the Denny Street stage from 5pm, featuring Dreams of Freedom and DJ Big Jim.

Kerry County Council will close Denny Street, The Mall and Ivy Terrace to traffic from 4pm to 8.30pm today.
Radio Kerry DJ Brendan Fuller will be on stage from 7.30pm.

The Council has advised that there will be no parking on Denny Street from Park Lane to Ashe Hall from 8am today. All parked cars should be removed from Denny Street and around Ashe Hall by 2.30pm today.
The bus will then continue on to Killarney, travelling down Lewis Road and College Street, before arriving on stage at the Glebe Carpark between 7pm and 9pm today.
Kerry County Council will close College Street to traffic from 4.30pm to 11pm.
There will be no parking on either side of College Street from the junction with Fairhill to Plunkett Street from 4.30pm. All parked cars should be removed from the Glebe Carpark by 7.00am.
Kerry County Council have advised that traffic diversions will be in place.

A hurling wonderkid who has become a TikTok sensation hopes to one day line out for his county. Ben Smyth has dazzled social media users with his slick stick skills since his account was created last September. The 10-year-old from Meath plays as a half-forward for the U11s side at St Peter's Dunboyne and proud dad Niall declares that his small stature doesn't stop him from scoring. TikTok hurling star Ben Smyth Speaking to the Irish Mirror, Niall, who also plays for St Peter's Dunboyne, said: "Ben has always been tipping away with a ball since he could walk. "I realised he had a knack for hurling when he was really young - when he was able to hit the ball with one hand. He has really good hand-eye coordination. "He's always playing hurling and Gaelic football and he's always out practising. The hurl is never out of his hand." Niall said his son practices for around two hours each day, in addition to two weekly training sessions and weekend matches. Ben also regularly attends Niall's training sessions and matches with the St Peter's Dunboyne senior team. The proud dad said his son is a "force to be reckoned with" on the pitch before joking: "I don't want to give him a big head." He continued: "He's smaller than the other guys on the opposition team and his own team, but everybody says his heart is huge. He's well able and he gets stuck in. He scores plenty." Ben and his dad Niall Sport runs deep in the Smyth family. Ben's great-grandfather Brian Smyth captained Meath to the county's first All-Ireland football title in 1949 and his late grandfather Bernard also hurled for the county. Dad Niall added: "I'm so proud of him. I've been hurling all my life, and people probably think 'Jesus, I'm forcing him'. But we just let him do his own thing, and he loves it. "I don't mind what he's doing as long as he's happy and enjoying it. The GAA and sports in general are great for kids. I wasn't as good as Ben at 10 - that's for sure." Speaking about their viral success, Niall explained that Ben saw some hurling content on TikTok and decided to make some videos of his own. Niall set up a TikTok called ben_hurl to let others see his talent, but neither realised how big the reaction was going to be. Clips of him practising have since gone viral, with two videos reaching more than one million views. The account, which Niall manages, has nearly 10,000 followers. He said: "The views went off the charts, we didn't expect it." Ben chatting to reporter Danny De Vaal When asked about his TikTok success, Ben said: "It feels good, but I'm always pushing myself to do better and accomplish more. I'd love to play county." The youngster said his idols include Kilkenny veteran TJ Reid and rising Tipperary star Darragh McCarthy. When asked to give his thoughts on the recent All-Ireland Hurling final, which saw Cork lose to Tipperary after a disastrous second half, Ben said: "I think Tipp had a great comeback, Cork thought they had it won, but Tipp came back stronger." All-Ireland winning Dubs visit CHI ahead of homecoming
The All-Ireland winning Dublin ladies football team brought some joy and the Brendan Martin cup to CHI Crumlin this morning, ahead of a homecoming event for the team tomorrow. Captain Carla Rowe and player of the match Orlagh Nolan were among several players visiting the hospital, as well as manager Paul Casey. The celebrations are continuing for the team today who are still riding high after yesterday's 2-16 to 0-10 All-Ireland victory over provincial rivals Meath. The players weren't the only ones to have a turn at lifting the cup, as children and staff alike managed to get a hold of the coveted trophy. Paul Casey said that the hospital visit had made the victory all the better. "It's great to wake up this morning as All-Ireland champions. A morning like this is special and tops off a day what was a great day yesterday," he said. "It's great, it's a fantastic privilege to come and see the kids in the hospital. The morning after an All-Ireland is really nice to come here and see the smiles on their faces and all the different county jerseys." The team's homecoming celebrations will be held in Smithfield Square tomorrow at 6pm, which Casey said will give the team a chance to get their energy levels back up. "We're looking forward to getting a great crowd in Smithfield and give the girls a reception they deserve," Casey said.

'The group has serious heart and determination and that was a collective performance. The key thing was getting on top and staying on top.' Stephen Duff conceded Laois were always chasing the game. The O'Moore chief said: 'Whether the occasion got to us or it was just a bad day at the office, it wasn't a great performance. "We kept in the game in the third quarter.
