Azadi's plot overview
Set primarily within the confines of Kottayam Medical College, Azadi follows Ganga, a pregnant prisoner accused of murdering a political leader's son. As she is admitted to the hospital to deliver her baby, her husband Raghu devises a 24-hour escape plan involving a network of insiders. However, their past catches up with them as adversaries infiltrate the hospital, turning the escape mission into a dangerous fight for survival.

The way it conceals the whole plan is actually interesting on a conceptual level, but when the writing forces you to look at every twist with a frowning face, it becomes very difficult to enjoy a thriller like this. If your film viewing frequency is extremely low, Azadi might feel like a passable watch.'

'Kannappa' box office collection day 12: Vishnu Manchu-Prabhas-Akshay Kumar starrer mythological film mints Rs 14 lakhs on Tuesday

While the numbers aren't blockbuster-level, the film's performance has remained consistent. As per trade tracker Sacnilk, Kannappa has so far managed to collect a total of approx Rs 32.29 crore across all languages. Breaking down the earnings, the film opened with a strong first-week collection of Rs 30.2 crore. The second weekend had a slight drop, with Day 8 bringing in Rs 45 lakh, Day 9 recovering slightly with Rs 60 lakh, and Day 12, the most recent count, reporting Rs 14 lakh. While the film isn't raking in huge numbers after its opening week, it has managed to hold its ground. Theatre occupancy On Tuesday, Kannappa recorded an overall Telugu occupancy rate of 14.85%. Morning shows had the highest turnout with 16.09% occupancy, followed by afternoon 15.51%, evening 14.94%, and night shows 12.85%. About the film Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, Kannappa is a spiritual story about how Thinnadu, a fearless warrior who, from being an atheist, ultimately becomes a faithful devotee of Lord Shiva. Vishnu Manchu takes the lead as the titular character, and the film features cameos and important roles by several big names. Juhu Police have arrested Vedika Prakash Shetty, former personal assistant to Alia Bhatt. Reportedly, Shetty had fraudulently obtained more than Rs 76 lakh from these two accounts. While the investigation is underway and more details are awaited, Alia or her team has not issued any statement regarding the matter as of now. Eternal Sunshine Productions was launched by Alia Bhatt in 2021. It aims to produce 'happy films" with a focus on 'real, timeless, and warm and fuzzy tales".
