Israel strikes three Yemeni ports, power plant, defence minister says
Defence Minister Israel Katz said the military attacked a Galaxy Leader ship that had been hijacked by Houthis and was being used for 'terrorist activities' in the Red Sea.
The Israeli military said the attacks were in response to repeated attacks by the Iran-aligned group on Israel.
Yemen's Houthi-run Al-Masirah TV reported early on Monday that Israel launched a series of strikes on Hodeidah, shortly after the Israeli military issued an evacuation warning for people at three Yemeni ports.
The Israeli military's Arabic spokesperson said late on Sunday that Israel would strike those areas due to military activities being conducted there.
In a statement, the military's Arabic-language spokesperson Avichay Adraee identified those places as the ports of Hodeidah, Ras Isa and Salif, as well as the Hodeidah power station.

'Houthi forces installed a radar system on the ship and have been using it to track vessels in the international maritime arena to facilitate further terrorist activities,' the Israeli military said.
