Watch a seagull swipe an Asda sandwich in viral video

Brea Walker had nipped into the Llandudno Junction store in Conwy County Borough, Wales, with her partner Grant Williams, 29, to grab a bag of crisps on Wednesday evening (July 2).
But as they scoured the store for their snacks they were stopped in their tracks when they spotted a lone seagull marching to the meal deal section and nick a sandwich.
Hilarious footage filmed by the 29-year-old shows the seagull making his selection, believed to be a chicken filling, from the bottom shelf before shamelessly waltzing off with his dinner.
The tickled content creator followed the feathered thief outside and spotted him pecking at the packaging, sharing the incident on TikTok where it racked up more than 322,000 views.
Brea, from Kilmarnock, Scotland, said: "There's a burger place just across the road. We had 15 minutes to wait until our takeaway was ready so we popped into Asda to get some crisps.
"The two of us just pulled our phones out and recorded it at the same time.
(Image: Kennedy News & Media) "He [the seagull] walked in and went straight for it. It was as if he knew exactly where he was going.
"I've seen them do some ruthless stuff, which is why we kept our phones out.
"I'm from near Glasgow so the seagulls where I live are not like this. They're absolutely menaces down here and are not scared of anything. They're so evolved from the normal bird and don't care.
"It just waltzed in, took itself a sandwich and opened it up. I think a bit of a fight kicked off after that between him and 10 seagulls."
Since Brea shared the clip online it has been viewed by more than 100,000 people and users were quick to share their own seagull encounters in the comments.

British man orders McDonald's in Benidorm and cost of two meals leaves him floored

A man was left gobsmacked when he purchased two meals from McDonald's in Benidorm, wondering why it was that price. He also complimented the view from the restaurant No matter where in Europe you go, chances are, you won't be too far away from a McDonald's. It's cheap, cheerful, and if you're a fussy eater in need of some home comforts while you're away, it's the perfect place to nip with pals. But when one Brit in Benidorm ordered two meals from the Spanish Maccies, he was left floored at how much it cost him. ‌ "Could this be the nicest McDonald's in the whole entire world?" Harry, who posts on TikTok as @harrytokky, asked his followers. He showed the view from the Maccies, saying: "You're not gonna get better than this." Unlike your typical Maccies outlets, this one looks out onto the sea. ‌ But he then joked "who cares about the view," saying that he was going to go inside because he was "desperate for a Happy Meal". ‌ Sitting outside, he said: "And just like that, the food has arrived. Now you will not believe how cheap this was. We've got two meals here. Guess how much this costs? €11 (£9.53)". Harry continued, explaining that there are two fries, two burgers, two drinks, and some chicken nuggets on the side as well. ‌ He gushed: "I mean, €11? What do you think guys? I think that's an absolute bargain, let's be honest. €11? In the UK, that'd probably be at least £20." In the UK, a large Big Mac meal costs around £7.69, depending on location. Meanwhile, six chicken nuggets cost around £3.49, depending on location. So Harry is right, it is significantly cheaper in Benidorm. The whole meal would cost roughly £18.87, which is 98% more expensive! ‌ While some people in the comments section moaned that Benidorm McDonald's has "slow" service, others said the wait was well worth it. One said they'd had the "best Big Mac" ever at the Benidorm Maccies, while another gushed it was the "best view" you'll get under the Golden Arches. However, the taste may differ. One visitor remarked: "Their chicken nuggets are definitely different from English ones". People have also taken to TripAdvisor to share their experiences of Benidorm's McDonald's. One said it was a "fantastic" place to get "cheap food on vacation" while in Spain. Meanwhile, another reviewer wrote: "Visited this McDonald's as we wanted something like home while on holidays, and it was a great experience. I got the McCrispy Burger meal, and we got the bacon & cheese wedges for sharing, and it was all so delicious! "It came out slightly colder than we would have liked, but we still ate it. The restaurant was clean and the staff were lovely! "We used the machines as you entered to order our food, and they provided all languages. McFlurry was great as well. Will definitely be recommending to friends and family".

Woman orders ice cream for £5 and size leaves people totally floored

You wouldn't think spending this much on an ice cream would be a bargain – but it really is given the size that turned up after it was ordered. People are desperate to try it Remember the days when you could actually get a 99 ice cream cone for 99p? Unfortunately, inflation means this is a real rarity in 2025. Not to mention during the cost of living crisis. ‌ So when a woman ordered some soft serve for £5, you'd think she would be pretty miffed. But when it arrived, she was sure she'd actually found a total bargain. TikTok content creator @london_bite_and_vogue was presented with two towering ice cream cones that came in different colours. ‌ She purchased it from Kabul Korner in Harrow, London. At the eatery, you can get huge cones for less than a fiver. A single is £2.50 and a double is £3.50. ‌ The foodie opted for two of the single varieties, which come in various flavours including mango and pistachio. Park Holidays estimates that the average price for a Mr Whippy in London is £4.10 – and these are significantly smaller. People think it was well worth the money. Her short clip has garnered more than 525,800 views, 15,600 likes and more than 250 comments, at the time of writing. ‌ One said: 'Omg that can't be £2.' Another called it a 'bargain' and a third viewer commented: 'In Italy it will cost you 40 Euros each.' A seemingly big fan of the chilled dessert chimed in: 'Omg yes please I'll take 4.' Others highlighted the appearance of the ice cream as one viewer noted: 'That actually looks so pretty.' ‌ However, some people in the comments section weren't keen on the size of the ice cream. A viewer remarked: 'No thanks, way too big. I will stick with the regular ones, plus this is sugar overload!' Another questioned: 'Who could eat all that ice cream?' And another joked: 'This will take me a whole day to finish. By the time I finish it it's gonna be all over my clothes!' If you are planning to travel down to London to get one of the massive ice cream cones, we'd recommend sharing it with a friend before it melts. In the comments section, some also recommended bringing a plastic container along with you. That way, you can transfer the ice cream into the container to stop it spilling all down yourself. It's an ice cream lovers' dream, that's for sure!
