ABU DHABI (WAM) The Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Airbus Africa and Middle East to advance the development of a domestic aerospace capability enhancement programme.Omar Suwaina Al Suwaidi, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, and Gabriel Semelas, President of Airbus Africa and the Middle East, signed the agreement on the sidelines of Make it in the Emirates 2025, the UAE's flagship industrial platform.The MoU establishes a framework for long-term collaboration to support the UAE's national industrial objectives, including supplier development, skills transfer, and integrating local companies into Airbus's global value chain.The initiative aligns with the UAE's National Strategy for Industry and Advanced Technology, which seeks to position the country as a global hub for future industries.Held under the theme 'Advanced Industries. Accelerated', Make it in the Emirates 2025 is set to be the largest edition yet, featuring more than 700 exhibitors and showcasing over 3,800 locally manufactured products across over 68,000 square meters of exhibition space.
The event builds on more than Dh160 billion in offtake opportunities linked to over 4,800 products identified for local manufacture.

Moreover, a joint development agreement was concluded for collaboration on the first phase of the Yanbu Green Hydrogen Hub, which is planned to be ready for commercial operations by 2030.

20 July 2025 18:14 DUBAI (WAM) Dubai's real estate sector recorded an exceptional performance in H1 2025, further reinforcing the emirate's position as a leading global hub in this vital to data issued by the Dubai Land Department, the number of real estate transactions reached 125,538, up from 99,947 during the same period in 2024, an increase of 26%. The total value of these transactions reached approximately Dh431 billion, compared to Dh345 billion last year, a 25% rise, highlighting the strong growth momentum in the total number of real estate procedures, encompassing sales, leases, and other transaction types, exceeded 1.3 million during the same period, reflecting growing confidence among investors and stakeholders, along with sustained demand across Dubai's diverse real estate real estate investment market delivered outstanding results in the first half of the year, attracting 94,717 investors, a 26% increase, who completed 118,132 investments valued at approximately Dh326 billion. This represents a 39% rise from Dh234 billion during the same period last year, highlighting Dubai's sustained appeal to investors across diverse segments and number of new investors in Dubai's real estate market reached 59,075, with investments totalling Dh157 billion, a 22% increase in the number of investors and a 40% growth in investment value.
