
Bruce A. Watterson Joins Peapack Private Bank & Trust

Watterson has joined the Bank as a Senior Managing Director, Managing Group Director, with the Bank's Commercial Banking division. He will be based out of the Bank's newest location in Garden City, New York.
Bruce joins Peapack Private from Flagstar Bank, formerly Signature Bank, where he has worked since 2001 as a senior vice president and managing group director. At Flagstar, Bruce was responsible for providing middle market businesses and high net worth clients in the NY Metro with solutions for all their financial needs. Prior to Flagstar, Bruce was with CitiGroup Private Bank where he was a vice president and managing director. He has over 40 years of corporate, private, and middle market banking experience, having held similar positions at National Westminster Bank, Marine Midland Bank and Mellon Financial Services.
A graduate from Pace University's Lubin School of Business in Pleasantville, NY, where he majored in Finance and Accounting, Bruce is a Certified Cash Manager (CCM) and also maintains Series 6, 7 and 63/64 NASD licenses, in addition to a NYS Life and Health and Annuity License. He is heavily involved in the Long Island community and is active on numerous committees and boards. Gloria was born April 15, 1936 in Buffalo, NY. Gloria is survived by her husband of 50 years (6-20-1975) Ret. Lt. Col. William J Dollahon of Albuquerque, NM. She also leaves behind her son, Gregory Graham Eakes; and his two daughters, Rachel Louise Eakes Hairfield and Hanorah (Hannah) Eakes Shellgren all from Bakersfield, CA. Gloria's also leaves behind her daughter, Helen Louise Eakes Shingleton Gates and her husband Randy D Gates and their four children Kyle, Cody Shingleton, Connor Gates and Andrea Dell from Albuquerque, NM. Gloria's two step-children, Chris Dollahon and his husband David Dollahon from Oceanside, CA and their daughter Lindsey Dollahon from San Diego, CA, Lisa DeVore from Tenkiller, OK and her daughter Audrey and son Benjamin are also included. Gloria had 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Gloria is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Helen Mattus Maass; and her brother, Robert (Bob) Maass from Buffalo, NY; and the recent loss of her son, Guy Albert Eakes (12-8-2020), age 58, from Albuquerque, NM. Jun. 28—Vincent Kole Vincent Kole, age 79, passed peacefully into the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 13, 2025. Vincent was born in Chicago, Illinois, and grew up in Tularosa, New Mexico. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education and a Master of Arts in Music Performance from the University of New Mexico. Vincent was proud to have served in the New Mexico National Guard during the Vietnam War. His career spanned 38 years of teaching band, orchestra, and mathematics in the Albuquerque Public Schools. In 1978, he met and married his wife, Anne. Together, they shared 47 years of family life, music, Bible study, and traveling. Vince was a model railroad enthusiast and enjoyed sharing his hobby with his four beloved grandchildren. Vince is survived by his wife, Anne L. Kole; stepdaughter, Linda Lean and husband Scott; stepson, Steven Gish and wife Sharla; granddaughter, Lindsey Lean Mashburn; and grandsons, Austin Lean, Carson Gish, and Dayton Gish. Jun. 28—Connie Sue Bartmess Connie's soul passed to God on a beautiful day June 8, 2025. She knew she had been blessed her entire life, beginning with being born to her wonderful parents, Marvin and Irma, and ending with her loving husband, D. Eugene (Gene) Bartmess Jr. and her faithful dogs at her side. Connie enjoyed being retired as she could now pursue being active in various groups, Soldiers Angels, Project Linus, etc. She cherished her memories of family and friends whether they were in her life for a Reason, a Season or a Lifetime. She was passionate about helping people less fortunate and animals that had been abused. She was born August 19, 1948 in Manning, Iowa to Marvin Gail Groat and Irma Mae Knudson. Survived by her husband Gene Bartmess. Cremation has taken place. She is buried at Santa Fe National Cemetery and will accompany her husband, a Vietnam veteran, when he passes.
