During his school days, he used to participate in drama and cultural events. But his first love was sports. He loved swimming very much. In 1982, when India was hosting the Asian Games, 19-year-old Rakeysh participated in swimming. With the dream of winning a medal in his eyes, he reached the final round, but could not get selected. After leaving the sports field, Rakeysh entered the world of advertising. In the 1980s, he made hundreds of advertising films, in which his work for many brands was appreciated.
