Raja Casablanca Close to Signing Mouhcine Bouriga

Raja Casablanca are closing in on the signing of Moroccan forward Mouhcine Bouriga. The 25-year-old, who came through the ranks at Renaissance Zemamra, spent last season with FC Sion in the Swiss Super League, scoring once in 22 appearances. According to Africafoot, negotiations between Raja and FC Sion, the player's current club, have accelerated significantly in recent days, with the official signing now a matter of final details. Bouriga has rejected a loan move to Maghreb Fez and turned down a $400,000 loan offer from AS FAR. Raja have since moved quickly to secure the striker. Raja Interested in Nigerian Goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali

Raja Casablanca are reportedly considering a move for Nigerian goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali ahead of next season. South African outlet Unplayable reported that the Moroccan giants are keen on signing the 29-year-old, who currently plays for Chippa United in the South African Premier Division. Nwabali, who impressed during Nigeria's run to the final at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Côte d'Ivoire, made 26 appearances for Chippa United last season and currently holds the club's captaincy. According to reports, Chippa are open to letting Nwabali leave if a credible offer is submitted. The player is currently valued at €650,000 on Transfermarkt. Raja Casablanca, three-time CAF Champions League winners, are looking to rebuild after a disappointing campaign in the Botola Pro League. A move to the Moroccan club would mark a significant step in Nwabali's career. The Raja CA is reportedly planning to rebuild their team, following a disappointing trophyless season.
