NFL analysts don't think Matthew Stafford is a Hall of Fame QB

The Los Angeles Rams have a nice combination of veterans and young players. And while it's a little soon to be thinking Hall of Fame for any of them, two NFL analysts broke down the top options for the Rams and every NFC team.
ESPN's Bill Barnwell recorded a podcast with The Athletic's Robert Mays, and the two agreed that Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford isn't necessarily a lock to make the Pro Football Hall of Fame with his current resume. While he ranks highly in statistical categories, the two believe Stafford's production is more of result of the era he plays in than his ability relative to other quarterbacks.
'I feel like, to me, he is sort of the same case as what I'm expecting Dak to be, just with a Super Bowl ring," Barnwell said. "I don't think he should get in, but I would be surprised if he didn't get it.'
However, the two did agree on three other Rams players who are a better track to make the Hall of Famer: receivers Davante Adams and Puka Nacua as well as second-year edge rusher Jared Verse.
Adams' claim is understandable given his consistency at the position and that he could also move up some all-time lists. He should improve on his numbers even more with Stafford as his quarterback.
Nacua and Verse are very young, though, and yet both look like stars-in-the-making already in their career. Verse put together Defensive Rookie of the Year numbers in 2024, and Nacua has been one of the most effective receivers in each of the past two seasons.
Stafford may not have much more time in his career, but the duo of Nacua and Verse does. As for Adams, he just needs to continue his dominating ability in the pass-catching department.
