'Iss industry ne hi kuch kiya hai unke mind pe ya unke soul pe. Ya logon ne saath main unko demoralise kiya. Yeh industry aisi jagah hai. Jab voh baat saamne aayi, common man ka sentiment against Bollywood hatt gaya… They said, 'Screw these guys. Yeh log gande log hain,'" he mentioned.
Amaal explained, 'Publicly kabhi industy ki band nahi baji… Sushant Singh Rajput ki death ne inn logo ka sab cheen liya. Deserving bhi hai, they deserve to see this downfall. Acche aadmi ke saath galat hua. Aaj aap dekho, vohi cheezein, indirectly ya directly Kartik Aaryan ke saath karne ka bhi try karte hain log. Voh bhi unhi problems se joojh ke, dance karte hue nikla hai, smile karte hue."
'But uske peeche uske mummy, papa sab saath hain to support and guide him. He's also a newcomer who has come in, done his bit, usko bhi 100 log hatane ke firaaq main hain. Power play karte hain. Sab kuch karte hain bade bade producers, actors," said the musical personality.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead on 14th June, 2020 in his Bandra, Mumbai apartment at the age of 34.

'Kartik Aaryan is now being targeted like Sushant Singh Rajput': Singer Amaal Mallik makes shocking claims about Bollywood
Dark Parallels With Sushant Singh Rajput A Struggle Behind The Stardom Remembering Sushant, Raising the Red Flag Still Dancing Through the Storm You Might Also Like: Five years after Sushant Singh Rajput's death, sister Shweta urges fans not to lose heart even if CBI has submitted report In a scathing revelation that has sent tremors through Bollywood circles, music composer and singer Amaal Mallik has alleged that some of the most powerful producers in the Hindi film industry are actively trying to sideline actor Kartik Aaryan echoing a chilling déjà vu of what happened to the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput In a candid interview with Mirchi Plus, Mallik did not mince words. "He's also a newcomer who has come in, done his bit. Usko bhi 100 log hatane ke firaaq mein hain" (There are hundreds of people who are waiting to push him out), he said, referring to Aaryan. "Power play karte hain. Sab kuch karte hain bade bade producers, actors" (Power games are played. Big producers and actors pull every trick in the book). According to the musician, Bollywood has long operated as a closed circle where those not aligned with power centres are systematically strongest claims came when he compared Kartik's current struggles with the fate of Sushant Singh Rajput, who died by suicide in June 2020. "Sushant Singh Rajput ki death ne in logon ka sab cheen liya..." (Sushant Singh Rajput's death stripped everything from these people), he said. "Aaj aap dekho, wohi cheezein, indirectly ya directly Kartik Aaryan ke saath karne ka bhi try karte hain log" (Today you'll see people trying to do the same things, directly or indirectly, with Kartik Aaryan). "Woh bhi unhi problems se joojh ke, dance karte hue nikla hai, smile karte hue" (He too has battled the same problems, yet kept going—dancing and smiling). He further added that the entertainment industry is so dark that 'logo ki life chali gayi' (people have lost their lives because of it). Speaking about Sushant's demise, he remarked, "Jo bhi unke saath hua, some blame it as murder, some blame it as suicide. Jo bhi ho, aadmi toh chala gaya na" (Whatever happened—some say it was murder, others suicide—but the man is gone, isn't he?).Kartik Aaryan, who rose from outsider status to become one of the most bankable stars in Hindi cinema, has long been the subject of speculation about being dropped or replaced from high-profile projects. While he continues to deliver hits—most recently in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Chandu Champion—rumors around behind-the-scenes politics have often clouded his statement, therefore, is not just an opinion—it reinforces a public sentiment that Bollywood's glitzy surface often hides uncomfortable realities. "The public has understood the reality of this industry... itni dark hai ki logo ki life chali gayi" (The public now understands just how dark this industry is—people have literally lost their lives because of it), he said. In doing so, he has brought back attention to an ongoing conversation about mental health, fairness, and power imbalances in the film Singh Rajput, whose death triggered a nationwide outpouring of grief, had also been rumoured to face similar industry isolation. His demise ignited a fierce debate around nepotism, favouritism, and the lack of institutional support for outsiders in Bollywood. Five years later, Mallik's comments seem to suggest that not much has Mallik, known for his melodic hits and celebrated work in M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, is not just a chart-topping composer but also someone who's known to speak his mind. The elder son of composer Daboo Malik, Amaal has made a name for himself outside the shadows of Bollywood's nepotistic the headwinds, Kartik Aaryan continues to be a fan favourite. With a filmography ranging from romantic comedies like Pyaar Ka Punchnama to intense roles in Freddy and Dhamaka, the actor has proven his range and bankability. But if Amaal Mallik's words are any indication, the challenges he faces may go far beyond just picking the right Bollywood continues to grapple with its image in the post-Sushant era, voices like Mallik's may reignite urgent conversations around mental health, systemic exclusion, and the cost of success in India's most glamorous industry.

Amaal Mallik says Kartik Aaryan is being cornered like Sushant Singh Rajput: ‘People are trying to push him out'
In a candid interview with Mirchi Plus, music composer Amaal Mallik has made serious allegations against the workings of the Hindi film industry. The singer-composer stated that actor Kartik Aaryan is being subjected to the same kind of treatment that late actor Sushant Singh Rajput allegedly faced before his death. Speaking about the deeply rooted issues within the film fraternity, Amaal Mallik remarked, 'The public has understood the reality of this industry. itni dark hai ki logo ki life chali gayi. Sushant Singh Rajput nahi handle kar paaye. Jo bhi unke saath hua (It's so dark that people have lost their lives. Sushant Singh Rajput couldn't handle it. Whatever happened with him). Some blame it as murder, some blame it as suicide. Jo bhi ho, aadmi toh chala gaya na? (Whatever it was, at the end of the day, the person is gone, right?)' Mallik went on to say that Rajput, known for his performances in films like 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story' and 'Chhichhore', was systematically demoralised. 'People around him demoralised him. This industry is such a place. When all of this came to light, the common man's sentiment turned against Bollywood,' he said. He then drew a parallel with Kartik Aaryan's current standing in the industry, suggesting a similar pattern is emerging. 'Publicly kabhi industy ki band nahi baji Sushant Singh Rajput ki death ne inn logo ka sab chheen liya (The industry has never been publicly exposed like this. Sushant Singh Rajput's death took everything away from these people). Deserving bhi hai, they deserve to see this downfall. Acche aadmi ke saath galat hua. (They deserve this downfall. A good man was wronged). He added, "Aaj aap dekho, vohi cheezein, indirectly ya directly Kartik Aaryan ke saath karne ka bhi try karte hain log. Voh bhi unhi problems se joojh ke, dance karte hue nikla hai, smile karte hue (And today, you can see people trying to do the same things, directly or indirectly, to Kartik Aaryan. He too has faced those problems, yet he's come through them dancing and smiling).' Mallik credited Aaryan's resilience to his strong family support. 'He has his parents standing firmly behind him to support and guide him. He is also a newcomer who has come in and proved himself, yet there are dozens of people trying to push him out. There's power play going on. Big producers and actors do everything.' Mallik's remarks have reignited conversations around nepotism, mental health, and alleged favouritism in Bollywood—issues that took centre stage following Sushant Singh Rajput's untimely death in June 2020.

Amaal Mallik says Bollywood is targeting Kartik Aaryan like Sushant Singh Rajput: '100 log usko hatane ki…'
Music composer Amaal Mallik, who has composed music for films like Jai Ho, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Kabir Singh and more, in a chat with Mirchi Plus, shared his thoughts about the dark side of Bollywood. He claimed that after the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, Bollywood is trying to demoralise Kartik Aaryan. Amaal Mallik says Bollywood is doing the same to Kartik Aaryan, what they did to Sushant Singh Rajput. Amaal Mallik talks about Sushant Singh Rajput's death Talking about the darker side of Bollywood and Sushant's death, Amaal said, "Today, the shine of Bollywood is missing somewhere. The public has understood the reality of what this place truly is. Even from an emotional point of view, there's a disconnection now — people feel distanced from their stars, wondering what kind of world they live in. The industry has such a dark side that it has cost people their lives. Sushant Singh Rajput couldn't handle it — whatever happened to him, some call it murder, others call it suicide, but the fact remains that a life was lost. This industry did something — whether to his mind, his soul, or people around him demoralised him." He explained how this led to a deep disconnect between the audience and the industry. Amaal recalled how even his non-filmy friends began referring to Bollywood as a toxic place. He further remarked that the industry deserved the downfall it faced following Sushant's death. Amaal Mallik says Kartik Aaryan is facing same problems like Sushant Singh Rajput He added, "And today, you can see that people are trying the same things, directly or indirectly, with Kartik Aaryan as well. He too has come out of similar problems—dancing his way through them—but he has the support and guidance of his parents. He is also a newcomer who came in, did his part, usko bhi 100 log hatane ki firaak main hain (now a hundred people are waiting to remove him), playing power games. Big producers, big actors — all of them do it. The industry, which once looked so glamorous to people, the aura of Rajesh Khanna, Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan — people have stopped believing in the magic of cinema. After Sushant Singh Rajput, people started thinking that these are awful people." He went on to say that unless people now see a star kid in a strong narrative or a relatable story, they're unwilling to watch the film. Amaal also praised the conviction of South Indian cinema and suggested that Bollywood can only bounce back by either creating something as visionary as Christopher Nolan's Inception, delivering light-hearted comedies, or crafting soulful romances like Aashiqui. According to him, those are the only ways Hindi cinema can reconnect with its audience. For the unversed, Sushant Singh Rajput died on 14 June 2020 at the age of 34. He was found hanging in his Bandra apartment. His father later accused his then-girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty, of abetment to suicide. The CBI took over the case and recently filed a closure report, giving Rhea a clean chit. Meanwhile, Kartik Aaryan, who made his debut with Pyaar Ka Punchnama, became a fan favourite with his iconic relationship rant. He went on to star in hits like Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Satyaprem Ki Katha, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. He now enjoys a loyal fan base and is set to appear next in Anurag Basu's yet-untitled musical alongside Sreeleela, scheduled to release this Diwali.
