Dimitriy Nezhinskiy, 43, just pleaded guilty in Brooklyn federal court to conspiring to receive stolen property and the items in question? High-end luxury watches, designer bags, and jewelry taken from some of the biggest names in sports.
According to federal prosecutors, Nezhinskiy knowingly bought these items from an international theft crew, one that specifically targeted pro athletes while they were away playing games. Burrow's home was burglarized while he was in Dallas for a Bengals game in December 2024. And the guy buying his stuff was sitting pretty behind a Manhattan storefront.
Nezhinskiy didn't act alone. He and business partner Juan Villar ran the fencing operation out of their pawn shop and New Jersey storage units.

The pawn shop duo's role? They provided a black market pipeline for the stolen goods, quickly flipping designer items for profit and laundering the inventory through pawn shop sales and private resellers.
When the FBI raided the shop and storage units earlier this year, they recovered a trove of goods: everything from fine wine and luxury watches to handbags and even sports memorabilia.

Guwahati: Assamese actress Nandinee Kashyap arrived at the Dispur police station on Monday to respond to summons in connection with an accident in which she allegedly hit a youth while driving, critically injuring him in city's Kahilipara area on Friday night. Police to soon start citizen service portal
Patna: Bihar Police is going to start a citizen service portal to provide easy and secure access to services for the common people within a month. The portal will offer features such as FIR downloads, status updates on complaints, and information on wanted criminals, among others. Recounting achievements of the police, Amit Lodha, additional director general (ADG) of State Crime Records Bureau (SCRB), while addressing a press conference here on Monday, said 1,378 zero FIRs (case that can be filed at any police station in the country) were registered through Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems (CCTNS) across 968 police stations. The govt had announced plans to implement the CCTNS across 968 police stations last year. The ADG said, "The CCTNS portal is being utilised for real-time digital documentation and tracking of cases, allowing police stations to login and search through the Integrated Criminal Justice System (ICJS) portal. This system is expected to streamline operations and improve the overall response time of the police force."
