Joshua Jackson and Eric Mabius 'blushed' after reuniting years after their passionate gay sex scene in 'Cruel Intentions'

Joshua Jackson and Eric Mabius "blushed scarlet red" when they bumped into each other "years" after their steamy gay sex scene in Cruel Intentions.
The 47-year-old actor's alter ego Blaine Tuttle got school footballer Greg McConnell (Eric) in bed and gave him a "b******" as part of a blackmailing scheme with Blaine's friend Sebastian Valmont (Ryan Phillippe) to convince Greg that Sebastian is a good guy and that Sebastian can win his bet with step-sister Kathryn Merteuil (Sarah Michelle Gellar) - to seduce Annette Hargrove (Reese Witherspoon) before the start of the school term.
Years after the "stressful" scene in the 1999 romantic-thriller film, Eric and his ex-wife Ivy Sherman happened to walk past Joshua whilst he took out his trash, and after a brief chat, Ivy asked how the pair are connected - which turned them red-faced.
In an interview with Men's Health magazine, Joshua said: "So then years pass - and I don't see Eric after a long time after we've had this experience together - and I'm taking out my trash one day, and he and his wife walk by, because they've just moved in down the street.
'She sees us see each other and have this moment of like, 'Hey, what's up?' And she's like, 'Oh, how do you guys know each other?'
'And the two of us, now well into our 30s, I think both blushed scarlet red. Like, how do you explain what that connection was?'
Cruel Intentions' director Roger Kumble got Joshua to perform the sexual act on his first day on the job.
Joshua recalled: "I wasn't on Cruel Intentions very much, but I do believe that my first day on this movie was giving a man head.
'And that can be stressful for a 19-year old heterosexual boy, to sit in a room, and give another man a b******.'
Joshua got through it by committing himself to the acting job.
He added: "My stress test on this was to commit myself to this job that I had taken on and really make sure that I was all in, so to speak."

Tom Holland doesn't want to be overworked as an actor

Tom Holland is wary about "overworking". The 29-year-old actor has a busy year in store in 2026 with movies The Odyssey and Spider-Man: Brand New Day both scheduled for release and he has suggested that he will "take a bit more time off" the following year as he looks to manage his workload. Tom told GQ magazine: "I feel really blessed to be at a point in my career where I can take time off, reset, and come back ready to go. "You can't be in every movie, and you can't do your best work when you're burnt out. "What I've learnt is that it's important to set boundaries - to be mindful about overworking. I've got a slightly busy year next year, and then I'll probably take a bit more time off in 2027. We'll see." Holland has been tipped as a potential replacement for Daniel Craig as James Bond and admits that playing 007 would represent the "pinnacle" of his career. He said in conversation with celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay: "Dude, I mean every young British actor, it's the pinnacle of working in our industry. "I already consider myself to be the luckiest kid alive you know, I could not have dreamed to have the career that I have." Tom - who is in a relationship with his Spider-Man co-star Zendaya - revealed earlier this year that he intends to quit acting once he has had children as will be happy spending time with them and playing rounds of golf. He told Men's Health magazine: "When I have kids, you will not see me in movies anymore. "Golf and dad. And I will just disappear off the face of the earth." Tom previously took a year-long sabbatical as he felt he "needed" a break from acting work after appearing in the TV series The Crowded Room. He said: "It was just something I needed to do. I had been acting flat out since I was 11." The Uncharted star recalled that the highlight of his time away from the spotlight was coming out on top in a golf tournament with two of his brothers and English pro Tommy Fleetwood. He quipped: 'It was the best day of my life. I called my lady and was like, 'Listen, I'm thinking of turning pro.'"

Jessie James Decker admits to struggling with mom guilt

Jessie James Decker struggled with mom guilt while touring. The 37-year-old singer - who has Vivianne, 11, Eric Jr, nine, Forrest, seven, and Denver, 17 months, with her husband Eric Decker - has stepped back from touring in recent times in order to focus on her family life. Asked if she plans to tour again, Jessie said on Instagram: "One day. I've struggled with the emotions of it all lately because I love touring and singing. That's what I've done my whole life, people forget but that's how I got started in this business. But I struggled this last time leaving the babies that I knew I needed to take a beat." Jessie is determined to be present for key milestones in the lives of her children. The music star - who has been married to Eric since 2013 - said: "My kids need me. They're so little and I don't want to miss anything. I know the stage is always there for me when I'm ready again." Jessie previously revealed that she doesn't intend to have any more kids. The singer also admitted that she's still relishing the challenges of motherhood, even though she's "not sleeping very much". She told Us Weekly: "[Eric] is snipped, so if I were to get knocked up again, it's because of that two percent chance. "Denver's starting to walk, which is cool. We're obviously not sleeping very much, [but] it's amazing to be able to do it all over again. It's fun that the kids are older and getting to do this with us, watching their little baby brother grow up. Eric and I look at each other and we're like, 'How did we get here?' It's been really special for our family." Jessie also praised Eric for being a strong supportive influence in her life. The Wanted hitmaker shared: "He's so supportive. He thinks I'm pretty no matter what, even when I'm having a hard day or after I've had a baby [and] I'm not feeling like myself. I look for it in his face and he never flinches. He tells me I look pretty the way that I am."

'I'd totally jump on that': Jessica Simpson ready to start dating again

Jessica Simpson is ready to start dating again. The 45-year-old singer announced her split from second husband, Eric Johnson, 45, in January and Jessica revealed she now feels ready for a new relationship. When asked by Today show co-host Jenna Bush-Hager: 'Are you interested in dating? Can I set you up with anybody?', Jessica replied: 'I'd totally jump on that. Yes I'm single - very into like, very … I'm ready!' Jenna questioned: 'What are you into so I can set my criteria?' and Jessica explained: 'My type of person is one of a kind. I don't have a look, or anything. 'I just like for somebody to be individually, who they are. And exude confidence without the ego. 'It's hard to find but I feel like it's out there. I don't need somebody to be supportive of me all the time. 'I feel like the independence that I have right now, if I can have that and give it to someone else, that'd be cool.' Jessica – who shares Maxwell, 12, Ace, 11, and Birdie, five, with Eric – announced their split via Instagram in January. She said: 'Eric and I have been living separately navigating a painful situation in our marriage 'Our children come first, and we are focusing on what is best for them. We are grateful for all of the love and support that has been coming our way, and appreciate privacy right now as we work through this as a family.' Jessica was previously married to singer and presenter Nick Lachey from 2002 to 2006.
