Galaxy Z Fold 8 may lose a key upgrade – but not by choice
The downgrade could be due to the scarcity of materials, actually. The report claims that Samsung may have a harder time getting titanium from Chinese suppliers than CFRP. Titanium supply is problematic because of the US-China trade dispute as well.

This pretty much means that the Z Fold 8 may not have a titanium backplate, and not entirely because of Samsung wanting it this way.
Using titanium in the Fold 7 helped Samsung go for a thinner and lighter profile while keeping rigidity. Now, there's a chance the Fold 8 may not be like that.Despite all that, though, it's still really early to know for sure what will happen. Samsung should be making a decision relatively soon about its next year's product, however. We'll see where it goes!
I personally think that the Z Fold 7 is exceptional with its new thin and modern look. I'd be somewhat disappointed if Samsung took a step back with the Fold 8. The titanium really makes it feel premium and solid. Hopefully, Samsung finds a way to keep that same level of quality. But hey, it's still early – fingers crossed Samsung surprises us in a good way!

Redmi Note 15 Pro+ details leak
Redmi launched the Note 14 Pro+ back in September in China, and so obviously the brand is hard at work on its successor. Today, the first few details about the upcoming Redmi Note 15 Pro+ have been leaked, so let's take a look. The phone is said to sport a screen with "1.5K" resolution and thin symmetrical bezels on all sides, a 50 MP main camera, a 50 MP telephoto camera, and a battery capacity between 7,000 mAh and 7,999 mAh. The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ will allegedly be powered by the yet-unannounced Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, which makes perfect sense considering the fact that the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ is using its predecessor, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. So, compared to last year's handset, the new one will get the same screen resolution, and the same resolution for both the main and telephoto cameras, but a newer SoC and a much bigger battery. Whether these upgrades will be enough remains to be seen. Do note that the model we're comparing to here is the Chinese (and Indian) Redmi Note 14 Pro+, not the international one - Redmi sometimes likes to launch different devices under the same name in different markets, though in this case the differences aren't very many. Huawei Watch GT 6 coming in two variants with plenty of color options
The renowned Chinese tipster, Digital Chat Station, revealed that Huawei is getting ready to announce its Watch GT 6 series this fall, probably alongside the Mate XT 2 in September or October. The GT 6 will arrive in two variants - 41mm and 46mm, each offering a wide selection of paint jobs. The 41mm is supposedly codenamed Kinsu, with gold, purple, brown, white, and black color options, while the 46mm Atum will come in gray, brown, silver, titanium, green, and black. Then again, the tipster may be referring to the strap colors, not the watches themselves, but it's still too early to tell as details are scarce. Last year's Huawei Watch GT 5 came in the same two sizes - 41mm and 46mm, so we are not expecting any major shifts in the design. Source

OnePlus and Oppo are both working on a small tablet with a flagship chipset
OnePlus is allegedly working on a small tablet with a flagship chipset, according to a new rumor from China's prolific Digital Chat Station. He says we should expect this device to be powered by Qualcomm's upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 SoC, which is due to be unveiled in September. The tablet itself is said to be launching in the first half of next year, alongside the OnePlus 15T, the 6.3" successor to the OnePlus 13T. OnePlus Pad 3 So it's still a long wait for this one. The same source implies Oppo will launch its own version of the exact same tablet, and that wouldn't be a surprise at all, as the two sister brands have done stuff like this a lot when it comes to tablets. The tablet, in both OnePlus and Oppo iterations, is expected to come with an 8.8-inch screen. We'll let you know when we find out more about it. Source (in Chinese)
