ACC's net profit up 4.36% in Q1 FY26
NEW DELHI: ACC , part of Adani Group , has reported a growth of 4.36 per cent in its net consoldiated profit during the quarter ended June 30, 2025. Its profit after tax (PAT) stood at ₹375.42 crore in Q1 FY26 as against ₹359.74 crore it registered in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, the company said in a BSE filing. The company's net consolidated total income stood at ₹6,155.58 crore in Q1 FY26, a growth of 16.79 per cent from ₹5,270.81 crore it recorded in the similar quarter last year. According to the company, "cement demand growth in Q1 FY26, remained strong at 4% amid favourable macroeconomic situations and sustained demand from housing and infrastructure segments. Outlook for Q2 FY26 continues to remain strong. For FY26, cement demand is expected to grow between 6-7% due to rise in demand for affordable housing (both rural and urban), higher spending on infrastructure and commercial sector, which includes increased investment in core and allied infrastructure sector." Its net worth increased by ₹228 crore during the quarter and stands at ₹18,787 crore. EPS (diluted) at ₹ 19.9 during the quarter, up by Rs 0.7 year-on-year. It increased ready-mix concreate (RMX) footprint with addition of 12 plants. During the quarter, volume increased by 12% year-on-year supported by higher trade volumes and higher premium product. WHRS power share increased by 4pp from 9.9% to 13.9%, solar power share increased by 7.9pp from 3.4% to 11.3%, taking the green power share up by 11.9pp to 26.2%, clear road map & investment commitments to achieve 60% green power share well ahead of targeted FY28. Optimised Fuel Basket, with use of low cost imported petcoke, improved linkage and captive coal consumption and synergies with Group companies have resulted in 10% reduction in Kiln fuel cost from ₹1.73 to ₹1.56 per '000 Kcal. Thermal value at 738 kCal improved by 1 Kcal year-on-year, expect to improve further in coming quarters driven by capex-based efficiency improvement projects. Logistics costs reduced by 5% at ₹972 per tonne. Through various freight negotiation initiatives, road PTPK has decreased by 1% year-on-year, at ₹4.15 per tonne.

The Supreme Industries' net profit declines 26% in Q1 FY26
NEW DELHI: The Supreme Industries , a plastics product manufacturing company, has reported a dip of 26 per cent in its net consolidated profit during the quarter ended June 30, 2025. Its profit after tax (PAT) stood at ₹202.30 crore in Q1 FY26 as against ₹273.37 crore it registered in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, the company said in a BSE filing. The company's net consolidated total income stood at ₹2,626.13 crore in Q1 FY26, a dip of 1.19 per cent from ₹2,657.79 crore it recorded in the similar quarter last year. The company has total net cash surplus of ₹856 crore as on June 30, 2025 as against cash surplus of ₹944 crore as on March 31, 2025. The overall turnover of value-added products increased to ₹933 crore during the current quarter as compared to ₹925 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. M. P. Taparia, managing director of the company said, "Polymer prices remain in affordable range at lower level. PVC prices remain in downward range. This augurs well for growth in the business going forward this year and beyond. Due to fall in PVC prices, there was inventory loss affecting profitability in the quarter." The company entered into business transfer agreements with Wavin Industries and its two wholly-owned subsidiary companies viz: Wavin India Pipes and Fittings Manufacturing & Wavin India Holdings. The acquisition as a going concern on a slump sale basis, is likely to be completed by July 31, 2025. The aggregate consideration for the entire transaction including for net working capital (NWC), is about ₹310 crore. It is also entering into master technology license agreement with Wavin B.V. Netherlands, an Orbia group Company, to access on exclusive basis for India and other SAARC Countries, all its existing technologies and other new technologies to be developed during the period of seven years, pertaining to Plastic Piping systems for Building and Infrastructure segment. The company expects cash outflow of about ₹1,350 crore towards existing capital commitments, acquisition of Wavin Business and new commitments during the year. Entire capex shall be funded from internal accruals. The protective packaging product division is specifically driving its growth plan by increasing its product range and offerings for customized solutions. The same is yielding positive results and paving the way for achieving double digit volume growth and revenue target to exceed ₹1,000 crore for the year from ₹855 crore in the previous year.

EFC (I) posts net profit of ₹46.67 crore in Q1 FY26
NEW DELHI: Pune-headquartered EFC (I) has reported a growth of 195.94 per cent in its net consolidated profit during the quarter ended June 30, 2025. Its profit after tax (PAT) stood at ₹46.67 crore in Q1 FY26 as against ₹15.77 crore it registered in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, the company said in a BSE filing. The company's net consolidated total income stood at ₹223.25 crore in Q1 FY26, a growth of 112.05 per cent from ₹105.28 crore it recorded in the similar quarter last year. In leasing, the company secured additional space of 1,45,000 sq ft in Q1 FY26, adding capacity of 3,000 seats during the quarter. Ek Design Industries , the furniture vertical of the company, signed its first international order in Saudi Arabia for a seven-star hotel awarded by Nuvara Global Turnkey Projects Contracting LLC. The company also secured ₹1,000 million in fit-out contracts from a leading MNC. EFC (I) acquired Quantum Towers in Pune , a 122,000 sq ft facility in Q1 FY26.
