The 83-year-old is reported to have passed away from a short illness, leaving her husband and friends heartbroken.
Kim rose to fame in Channel 4 's hit series How Clean is Your House where she showed people how to really keep their house in order.
Here, we look back on her 11 no-nonsense tips for a spick and span home that she previously shared with Fabulous.
Clean as you go
Now listen, lazy bones. If you put a drink back in the fridge and it falls over, you think you'll get back to it tomorrow. Oh no, you don't – clean it up it right away! It takes seconds to clean things up as you go. You've no need to make a song and dance about it.
Steam your shower walls
You know those little steamers you can buy to steam your kitchen floors? What they don't tell you is they are perfect for cleaning your shower walls, too. They are as light as a feather and it cleans the tiles up a treat.
Use old towels to clean your oven
All the old towels you've got, never throw them out, my loves - cut them into strips. They're rough and ready. Dip them in some warm soapy water with a bit of bicarbonate of soda to clean your oven.
Hot wash your sheets
All sorts of things fall off our bodies, especially if you're very hairy. Put your sheets on a hot wash at least once a week, no lower than 60 degrees, or 80 degress if you can. You're lying on them, dear, doing all sorts. You might be a very passionate person.
Sack off your sponge
Don't use a sponge to wash up – they are filthy. You need a flat cloth or a dish-washing brush so if there's any dirt in there you can rinse it under the tap. But a sponge, my loves – they're the most unhygienic.
Shop around
The Pound Shop have some extremely cheap cleaners. There's no excuse for anyone to say they can't afford them. There are so many choices, so hunt around. If not, use lots of vinegar and warm water to clean the windows. It does a super job - it's the old remedy.
So long, shoes
You go out in your shoes down the road and there's dog pee that you step in or spit on the pavement. Make sure you have a good, rough carpet so when you stand on it, rub your shoes. You only have to pick up that rug and bang it on the outside wall - my God, you'll go blind.
Deep clean your fridge
Once every couple of months, take all your fridge out - it takes five minutes. Get a nice towelling cloth and some warm water. Dip it in bicarb and lovie, it's spotless. Do not leave your fridge for more than two months. When you start going over that, my loves - by God, you're asking for trouble.
Toaster terror
Take out the tray at the bottom of your toaster at least once a week. Whip out an old newspaper and thump that toaster and the crumbs all come out. Then roll up the paper, dear, and throw it away. People say: 'Oh, my toaster smells of burning.' Yes, it's year-old breadcrumbs you lazy pigs.
Filter fail
If you've got a vacuum, do yourself a favour and clean the filters. You see people run a vacuum up and down the rug, but it's not picking anything up. Does it not occur to you that the filter's full? Use your common sense.
10 minute method
Kim has also shared her hack for making cleaning tasks a bit easier with the Express.
Clean as you go and throw as you go. If you do that you can't go wrong. If you let it build then you have a huge task ahead of you. It only takes a small amount of time. Ten minutes every day and you can keep everything manageable

Jess Glynne finally meets Jet2 holiday voiceover star Zoe Lister as their aeroplane advert goes viral

Jess Glynne has finally met the Jet2 holiday voiceover star Zoe Lister after their aeroplane advert became the latest trend on TikTok. Their viral sound has been all over social media this summer - with users adding the soundtrack over clips of travel fails - and while their advert has become a favourite for influencers, Jess, 35, and Zoe, 43, have never officially met. Now the duo have given their fans what they wanted as they recreated the advert live in the Capital Breakfast studio. Speaking with Jordan North and Chris Stark on their morning show, Zoe revealed that she has developed such a close bond with the singer that she feels she is 'in her band'. Referring to the song, Jordan said: 'It genuinely is a banger. You go in any club, and it sounds so good.' To which Chris said: 'But it's wild how you always hear that song whenever you go on a plane and then it's in the advert. 'And then, for reasons no one really understands, this summer, it just exploded on TikTok. Has it surprised you how massive this has all gone?' Jess replied: 'Yeah, it's a massive surprise one hundred per cent. It's the most amazing thing to see though. 'It's mad because I feel like when I do my gigs, I feel like when I go to sing the hook, I feel like they're waiting for me to go ''nothing beats a Jet 2 holiday''. It is tempting but I need to take this seriously it can't be a joke.' Chris replied: 'Well, we want to make this moment happen Jess. I'm not going to lie we want to do something very special this morning. 'The whole of the UK is so excited about this. I've had so many messages over the weekend. So, we've not just invited you guys. 'Obviously Rudimental are here, Jess Glynne you're here, we've also invited the voice of the Jet 2 holiday advert. She's here, please welcome to the show Zoe! To which Zoe quipped: 'We're bonded I feel like I'm basically in your band now To finish the conversation, Chris said: 'The dream here is getting you guys to do the sound, that everyone is hearing, live together!' Speaking with Jordan North and Chris Stark on their morning show, Zoe revealed that she has developed such a close bond with the singer that she feels she is 'in her band' It took a while for people to realise that the voice behind the viral - and widely spoofed - Jet2Holidays advert belongs to the British soap actress. The UK-based organisation's ad, which features popstar Jess's 'Hold My Hand', shows a family of four enjoying a fun-filled holiday abroad while the voiceover skips through the offers and discounts available. The high-energy voice that viewers hear throughout the 30-second 'Nothing beats a Jet2 holiday' ad has become almost as distinctive as Glynne's UK chart-topping track - but until recently people had no idea that it belonged to ex-Hollyoaks actress Zoë. Zoe played Zoe Carpenter in the Channel 4 show between 2006 and 2010, making a brief return in April 2017. A writer as well as a performer, mother-of-two Zoe has also contributed to 56 episodes of the soap, which marked its 30th anniversary this year. Other past acting jobs include roles in Midsomer Murders, Crime Stories and Staff Room. According to her management company Harvey Voice's website, she has been the voice of Jet2Holidays for four years. Yet, it was only relatively recently that the mother-of-two revealed herself as the voice of the ad on TikTok - much to fans' delight.

Smiling through the flames, Jez embraces who he has become and defends his "sacrificial" action, but by the horrified look on Sienna Blake's (Anna Passey) face teased in the brand-new trailer, it seems the apple does fall far from the tree. Confiding in mum Martha Blake (Sherrie Hewson) on his fears someone will take him down, could his next victim be his own daughter? Also, The Dog in The Pond is finally set to re-open its doors after months of repairs, but distracted Tony Hutchinson (Nick Pickard) is a man on a mission when he hears that killer Bobby Costello (Zak Sutcliffe) is still at large, unaware that his lover Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) is harbouring her son, will his vendetta lead him down a dangerous path?
