In the light of this, they called for the immediate and full implementation of ceasefire-hostage and detainees release agreement, which came into force on January 19, 2025. They emphasized the need for progressing to the agreement's second phase to ensure its full implementation, including the release of all hostages, a permanent end to hostilities, and the full withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza, in line with UN Security Council Resolution 2735. With regards to this, they reiterated their categorical rejection of any displacement or expulsion of Palestinians from their lands, including Gaza, the West Bank or Jerusalem.
Moreover, the parties underscored the importance of the upcoming Conference on the Early Recovery and Reconstruction of Gaza, which will take place in Cairo. They urged the international community to mobilize resources to address the crisis in the Strip.
The parties also emphasized the importance of unifying Gaza with the West Bank under the Palestinian Authority (PA) and supporting the PA in assuming all of its responsibilities in Gaza. Two-State Solution
In their joint statement, the parties reiterated the need to preserve the territorial integrity and unity of the Occupied Palestinian Territory on the basis of the 4 June 1967 lines, including Jerusalem, and in line with UN resolutions and the two-state solution, thus achieving long-term peace and stability in the region. Furthermore, they emphasized the vision of the two-state solution, with the Gaza Strip as part of the Palestinian state, in line with International Law and relevant Security Council resolutions. They stressed that any discussions regarding the future of Gaza should align with this vision. Israeli Actions in West Bank
The parties expressed deep concern over the Israeli military incursions in the occupied West Bank. They also condemned the illegal practices, including settlement activities, home demolitions, and settler violence, which undermine the rights of the Palestinian people and threaten the prospects for a just and lasting peace.
Moreover, the parties firmly rejected annexation attempts and unilateral measures that seek to alter the legal and historical status quo of the Holy Sites in Jerusalem.
According to the joint statement, the parties reiterated their full commitment to a political resolution to the conflict on the basis of the two-state solution with Israel and Palestine, living side by side in peace and security, based on the relevant UN resolutions, the Madrid terms of reference, and the Arab Peace Initiative.
In the light of this, they reaffirmed their support for a UN High Level International Conference in June, co-chaired by Saudi Arabia and France, to advance these goals.

Trump Says He Would 'Absolutely' Consider Bombing Iran Again

Trump also stated that if intelligence emphasized that Iran could enrich uranium to concerning levels, he would 'without question' attack the country. US Involvement in Conflict On June 22, the US became directly involved in the conflict between Israel and Iran after launching airstrikes on Iran's nuclear facilities in Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan. 'The United States showed that they have no respect to United Nations Charter. They have no respect to international law. They crossed a very big red line by attacking nuclear facilities,' Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said. No Gains In his first public statement since the announcement of the ceasefire, Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Thursday that the US intervention in the war was basically driven by its feeling 'that if it did not intervene, the Zionist regime would be utterly destroyed.' However, the US had not achieved any gains from this war, he added. On Friday, Trump also repeated his claim that the country's nuclear sites had been 'obliterated'. After the outbreak of the war on June 13, Khamenei took shelter in a secret location and was not seen in public. Trump said on Friday that he knew 'EXACTLY' where the Ayatollah had been sheltering and that he had personally prevented Israeli and US armed forces from targeting him. Khamenei also declared victory over Israel that targeted Iran's nuclear facilities on June 13, according to The Associated Press. He stated that Iran has 'delivered a hand slap to America's face' by attacking an American air base in Qatar on June 23. In a response, Trump said, 'Why would the so-called 'Supreme Leader' Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, of the war-torn country of Iran, say so blatantly and foolishly that he won the war with Israel, when he knows his statement is a lie.' Israel-Iran War On June 13, Israel launched a wave of airstrikes on Iran under the name of Operation Rising Lion. The military campaign targeted Iran's nuclear facilities and killed top military commanders and nuclear scientists. As a response, Iran launched a retaliatory wave of missiles against Israel and targeted Tel Aviv. Israel also killed several Iranian nuclear scientists in line with its goal to eliminate Iran's nuclear program. Saudi Arabia slams Israeli settlers' continued violence

Saudi Gazette report RIYADH — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Saudi Arabia's condemnation and denunciation of the continued violence perpetrated by Israeli settlers, under the protection of the occupation forces, against Palestinian civilians. In a statement, the ministry specially noted the recent attacks in the village of Kafr Malik, east of Ramallah in the West Bank. The Kingdom reiterated its condemnation of the continued Israeli violence against unarmed civilians in Gaza, including the targeting of civilian sites housing displaced persons. Saudi Arabia stressed the need to exert all efforts to provide protection for Palestinian civilians and enable them to exercise all their legitimate rights. The ministry reiterated its call for the international community to assume its responsibilities to put an end to Israeli violations of international laws and norms. Three Palestinians have been shot dead after nearly 100 Israeli settlers attacked the village on Wednesday evening. The men of Kafr Malik had run to its south-western edge to form a screen against the settlers and rescue women and children trapped in a house set alight by the masked attackers. But as they threw stones at the settlers in an attempt to drive them back, the Israeli army, who had taken up position behind the marauders, opened fire at the Palestinians.
