Tom Selleck, 80, rose to fame in the role of private investigator Thomas Magnum in the TV show, Magnum PI.
The actor starred in the high-profile role from 1980 until the cancellation of the series in 1988.
Now he's been spotted running errands in the City of Angels.
As well as his signature moustache and curly locks, the actor was sporting a thick beard when he was spotted out and about.
The star wore a silver metal watch as he made his way out in a subtle black t-shirt, shorts and complementary sneakers.
He made the rare outing in public before grabbing food in his California neighborhood.
He started off at a local gym before heading to McDonald's for a Big Mac and a cup of soda - which he ate in the parking lot.
After his meal, he was spotted filing undisclosed paperwork at an office building, before a trip to the convenience store.

After his breakout role in Magnum PI, Tom later returned to the police genre in 2005, playing the role of Jesse Stone.
He went on to make nine films within the franchise which were based on the novels by Robert B. Parker.
Five years later, he played the role of New York City Police Commissioner Frank Regan on Blue Bloods until last year.
He later urged CBS to continue with production for the drama for a fifteenth series.
Tom admitted, "I will continue to think that CBS will come to their senses. We're the third-highest show in all of broadcast.
"We're winning the night. All the cast wants to come back. I can tell you this: We aren't sliding off a cliff; we're doing good shows."
The reclusive legend has been laying low at his $12 million avocado ranch since the shock cancellation of the show last year.
Tom also had appearances on sitcom Friends in the '90s and early '00s.

Rapper Soulja Boy was arrested in Los Angeles early Sunday in connection with a weapons charge, after police pulled over a vehicle he was riding in. The 35-year-old rapper, whose real name is DeAndre Cortez Way, was arrested in connection with suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm, the Los Angeles Police Department told TMZ. The traffic stop involving the Crank That (Soulja Boy) artist took place at around 2:30 a.m. on Melrose Avenue, LAPD officials told NBCLA. Police told TMZ that 'officers spotted a firearm in' the vehicle the Turn My Swag On performer had been in. It was not immediately clear why the vehicle the Yahhh! artist was riding in was initially pulled over. Daily Mail has reached out to the LAPD for further comment on the story. He later told the publication in a statement: 'I want to make it clear that I'm innocent. This case was never about justice. 'It was about money and personal gain, and I will not let that stand. I am committed to filing an appeal and fighting for the truth to be revealed.'

Ed Kelce has shared a picture of his late girlfriend, Maureen Maguire, meeting Taylor Swift as he mourns her death. Maguire died on Friday at the age of 74, according to her obituary, surrounded by loved ones. Travis and Jason's father Ed posted the obituary on his Facebook to announce the news but has not otherwise commented so far on her death. He has, however, now shared pictures from their time together. The snap of Swift with the couple shows the three of them in Kansas City Chiefs merch, with the singer holding a card and what appears to be a friendship bracelet. Kelce also shared a photograph with Maguire from Saturday Night Live in March 2023 in New York, when three-time Super Bowl winner Travis was the guest host. In an interview last year with the Los Angeles Times, Kelce revealed how his girlfriend and Swift had struck up a bond. Maguire, according to Kelce, jokingly told Swift 'hey, that's my boyfriend' when the singer took a selfie with Travis and Jason's father at an NFL game. Maguire's obituary describes how, thanks to Kelce's influence, she developed a strong interest in football in the later years of her life.
