Below Deck rules the TV waves with boozy guests, crew tantrums and love triangles
From the sparkling waters of the Caribbean to the stunning landscapes of Australia, this franchise (including Below Deck, Below Deck Mediterranean and Below Deck Down Under and Below Deck Sailing Yacht) truly sails across the globe in style.
Over the years, this series has delivered countless jaw-dropping dramas and unforgettable moments.
To celebrate the new season of Below Deck streaming on E4, we're taking a look back at some all-time favourite moments from the Below Deck family.
1. Drunk dive disaster
If there's one thing Below Deck has taught us over the years, it's that you don't mess with the legendary captain Lee.
So when notorious charter guest Delores Flora decided to ignore his orders and take a drunken dive into the sea during Season 8, Episode 11, it's safe to say things didn't go smoothly.
Concerned for her safety, the enraged captain demanded she return to the yacht immediately.
By morning, with a sore head and no sympathy, Delores' antics led to the charter being cut short as she was swiftly sent packing back to shore.
2. Taco-gate
Trained chef or convenience connoisseur? Enter chef Mila Kolomeitseva, who found herself in water hotter than the Med during Season 4 of Below Deck Mediterranean.
Mila shocked everyone when she served tacos made from a boxed Old El Paso kit to her high-paying charter guests.
From soggy nachos to undercooked steaks, it didn't take long for the crew to realise Mila wasn't exactly Michelin material.
Things hit rock bottom when captain Sandy Yawn confronted her about her sloppy standards and Mila bizarrely responded by licking a raw steak.
Needless to say, she was swiftly fired, paving the way for the return of fan favourite chef Ben Robinson.

3. Cake kick-off
After tirelessly crafting a stunning birthday cake for a friend of primary guest Charley Walters, chef Kevin Dobson was expecting some appreciation.
But during the final group dinner in Season 7, Episode 17, chief steward Kate Chastain left Kevin out of her thank-you toast and he was fuming.
Feeling completely disrespected, Kevin snapped and dramatically kicked the cake across the deck before storming off in a huff, leaving the crew stunned.
As for the guests? Totally unbothered – they even tucked into the smashed cake without a second thought and the altercation didn't affect their tip.
4. Love triangle ahoy
What do you get when you mix a yacht full of young, attractive crew? A juicy love triangle, of course!
Enter Malia White on Below Deck Mediterranean Season 2, the green deckhand with a secret fling – chef Adam Glick.
But she quickly fell for bosun Wes Walton. Cue drama!
As the season unfolded, the triangle fuelled a season of jealousy, squabbling and petty sabotage.
In the finale (spoiler alert!), Malia chose the ever-calm Wes, and the pair even holidayed together after the season wrapped, proving it was worth the aggro.
5. Foam party fiasco
The aim of the game in the yachting world is to please the guests to get a bigger tip at the end of the charter – but sometimes guest demands are a little crazy.
For example, on Below Deck Mediterranean, a guest demanded a foam party, which led to a slippery deck and an injured crew member.
Meanwhile on Below Deck Down Under, Season 1, one guest demanded a 24/7 buffet despite it being a meals only table service.
The crew improvised to create a snack station, but the guests were horrified it wasn't up to Las Vegas standards.

UK's 'favourite' tiny village where footballers, movie stars and royals choose to live

The tiny village is home to a number of A-list celebrities and royals - and has become a foodie paradise in recent years. Kingham, a charming village nestled in the heart of Chipping Norton within the Cotswold Hills, has been hailed as the nation's 'favourite' by locals. This idyllic corner of the Great British countryside is a magnet for both A-listers and tourists, drawn to its picturesque cottages and lush greenery. ‌ According to popular lifestyle blog Muddy Stilettos, "This is a Cotswolds village that ticks all the boxes – pubs, shop, good schools, and that rarest of things – a train station on the line to London. Oh, and the odd resident A-lister". ‌ Catering to fewer than 1000 people, the local amenities include a shop and church, but it's the nearby Daylesford Organic farm shop that truly draws the crowds. This iconic establishment, often referred to as the country's poshest farm shop, is said to be a favourite of Princess Eugenie - and Eddie Redmayne has also been spotted shopping. ‌ But it's not just royals who are enticed by the delectable offerings at the farm shop. Kingham has transformed into a foodie paradise in recent years, boasting a range of eateries such as Kingham Plough and The Wild Rabbit, both renowned for their tantalising dishes. Blur bassist Alex James calls the town home, having moved to his 200-acre farm in 2003. His produce has received widespread praise, with many of his artisan cheeses now stocked in supermarkets nationwide, reports the Express. The former musician also throws a festival every year called Big Feastival, which "brings together music from the UK's biggest artists, Michelin-starred chefs, award-winning street food and an exciting array of family activities". This August revellers will be able to see Nelly Furtado, The Rizzle Kicks and the Wombats hit the stage. Daylesford is also thought to have sparked former Top Gear and The Grand Tour presenter Jeremy Clarkson's venture into farming, with the Diddly Squat Farm, and even catered for ex-Prime Minister Boris Johnson during the Covid-19 lockdown. ‌ Neighbours to the village, Victoria and David Beckham, pitched up in December 2016. A reputed £.5.5m transformed the grounds into an enchanted garden complete with a pool, an at-home spa, a luxury treehouse and—of course—a football pitch. Ellie Goulding and ex husband Casper Jopling previously lived in the area, having moved to the lush countryside back in 2021. The pair refurbished a lavish £1.3million manor house and restored its historic barn to its original condition before their recent split. The village is steeped in history, with many homes dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries. These historic dwellings have been lovingly preserved while also incorporating modern comforts, according to The Sun.

'Netflix's new medical docuseries is not for those with a weak stomach'

The new series is something everyone should watch A brand new medical documentary series is a truly distressing watch that will linger in my memory forever - and it's ready to stream now on Netflix. ‌ We've all witnessed Channel 4's 24 Hours in A&E and the immense strains our Accident and Emergency departments endure. But now, a fresh series about the NHS surpasses even that, and it's something everyone should see. ‌ Critical: Between Life and Death premieres today (July 23) and highlights London's trauma units as they confront intense situations and strive to save those who are critically injured. From polytrauma patients to life or death surgeries, the documentary covers it all. ‌ Netflix fans 'can't sleep' after watching twisted film that streaming giant is taking down Netflix series 'so addictive' fans binge watch in one night Tracking front line workers across 21 days with 40 cameras, Critical doesn't shy away, and it's certainly not afraid to show you everything. It's the kind of programme that stays with you and reinforces the fact that our NHS heroes are indeed just that - heroes. ‌ The first episode features a massive tragedy following a fairground ride malfunction in Brockwell Park, London in 2024. The ride failure resulted in several people, including children, being injured as emergency services rushed to the scene, reports the Express. Now, in an unprecedented behind-the-scenes insight, we hear from victims, their families and the emergency services involved. With footage of the ride malfunction and the intense details, it feels like you're right there in the hospital with them. I can honestly say I will never go on a fairground ride again. I've never been a fan of rides anyway, but knowing things can change in a single instant is terrifying. Critical: Between Life and Death has shown me a new perspective. ‌ If you're squeamish, this programme might not be for you, but it's something everyone should try and watch. It certainly fosters a profound appreciation for those we often overlook. The first episode plunges us directly into the thick of things, showcasing frontline workers, from initial call receivers to trauma department staff, all battling to prevent dire outcomes. ‌ Advanced Paramedic Practitioner Rory, who assisted in orchestrating the emergency response from the operations centre, reflected: "They were having a nice day, and then very quickly that changed." The episode also hears from the sister of one victim who was also at the fairground, who struggles to hold back the tears as she relives the harrowing experience. The synopsis teases: "In London, a major trauma happens every 60 minutes, and for the NHS, each call is a race against time. Critical: Between Life and Death gets inside the minds of the dedicated trauma teams that hold our lives in their hands when the worst happens. "From the makers of the award-winning 24 Hours in A&E and with exclusive access, 40 cameras are embedded for 21 days across the entire London Major Trauma System. "The documentary series goes over the shoulder and under the scalpel to reveal not only the life-saving interventions but also the personal, emotional, and sometimes traumatic reasons that inspire those on the NHS frontline to do a job where every second counts."

Hollyoaks confirms major death as killer Jez claims another victim in exit story

Hollyoaks spoilers follow for Wednesday's (July 22) episode that is now available to view on Channel 4 streaming. The episode in question will air on E4 on at 7pm. Jez Blake (Jeremy Sheffield) has struck again, claiming the life of Bobby Costello (Zak Sutcliffe) in dramatic and intense scenes. Bobby, as viewers know, was serving time in prison after killing Verity Hutchinson (Eva O'Hara) and Silas Blissett (Jeff Rawle). He also left Sylver McQueen (David Tag) to die in a fire and almost killed DeMarcus Westwood (Tomi Ade) when he set a blaze at Price Slice. Bobby escaped from the young detention centre a number of weeks ago and resolved to subsequently return, hoping to finish his sentence so that he could return home and live his life with mum Mercedes (Jennifer Metcalfe) by his side. Serial killer Jez, however, complicated the situation when he murdered social worker Ian, with Bobby becoming the police's prime suspect in the crime. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Bobby worked out Jez's involvement courtesy of Martha (Sherrie Hewson) and the two came to some sort of twisted agreement, with Bobby assisting Jez in planting Dilly Harcourt's (Emma Johnsey-Smith) DNA on items belonging to another victim of his – Dennis. Bobby subsequently sought shelter at the McQueen residence, much to the shock of Mercedes, who desperately tried to get him out of the house without Tony Hutchinson (Nick Pickard) seeing. After a heart-to-heart with his mum, Bobby revealed his plan to hand himself in to the police but Jez got wind of such a thing and gave chase. Tony, meanwhile, also set off to locate fugitive Bobby, still harbouring feelings of upset towards the teen given his role in Verity's demise. Knowing Jez was a killer, Bobby hightailed it out of dodge by stealing a cab, which broke down on the side of the road. In upsetting scenes, Jez proceeded to loom over the boy, who stumbled to the floor. The gardener-turned-serial-killer then struck the teen with a large rock which he found nearby. Tony, meanwhile, spotted the broken down cab – and did his best to avoid it. However, he drove over something – presumably Bobby – in the process. More Trending Jez grinned with glee, ecstatic to have eliminated yet another threat, as he told John Paul McQueen (James Sutton) – who was asleep in the cab – that this is who he is. Chilling. Will Tony find himself facing the blame? And just how will Mercedes react when she learns what's happened?
