The game at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on February 23 had to be called off at half time due to a power failure at the venue.
Arrows – 'Starting from the second half'
'Our previously postponed Betway Prem fixture against SuperSport United will be completed, starting from the second half,' said Arrows on Twitter on Thursday.
'The date and time for the remainder of the match is still to be decided. We will update you on this as soon as possible.'
It is unclear quite why it has taken the Premier Soccer League almost three months to make a decision regarding the match.
There was a possibility that a PSL Disciplinary Committee would award the game to Arrows, as SuperSport as the home side failed to supply a backup generator.
But with both sides still in danger of relegation, it has now been decided that the game will be played. The first 45 minutes on February 23 ended at 1-1, so that is where the game will start from when it is played to a finish.
With Royal AM kicked out of the league, only one team faces possible relegation via the play offs at the end of this season.
Battle to avoid finishing 15th
Cape Town City are currently in the relegation play-off spot in 15th in the table on 26 points. SuperSport are ahead of City only on goal difference, but have one game in hand.
Arrows are a point clear of both, also with one game in hand.
City will play Stellenbosch on Saturday at the Cape Town Stadium in their last game of the season. On the same day at the same time, SuperSport will host Richards Bay while Arrows are at home to Sekhukhune.

Depending on how those matches go, SuperSport v Arrows could then be the match that decides who goes into the play-offs, or it could be a meaningless half of football.

Richards Bay FC lift KZN Premier's Cup title in homecoming triumph
Wandile Ngema of Richards Bay is challenged by Sibusiso Sibeko of Durban City during the KZN Premiers Cup final at Umhlathuze Sports Complex in Richards Bay on SUnday. Photo: BackpagePix Image: Backpagepix Richards Bay FC marked the official reopening of the refurbished Umhlathuze Sports Complex in style, clinching the 2025 KZN Premier's Cup title with a narrow 1-0 win over Durban City in Sunday's final. It was a historic first for the Natal Rich Boyz, who have never lifted the pre-season trophy before and fittingly did so on home soil, signalling their intent ahead of the new Betway Premiership campaign. The two-day tournament not only served as a curtain-raiser to the upcoming season but also celebrated the revamped facilities in northern KwaZulu-Natal, which the Bay will now call home throughout 2025/26. Their path to glory included overcoming Midlands in the semi-final, before seeing off a determined Durban City side who had earlier stunned AmaZulu in dramatic fashion. Usuthu were knocked out in agonising fashion, conceding a late goal to lose 3-2 in an end-to-end semi-final that could have gone either way. Despite the result, assistant coach Siboniso Vilakazi was content with the side's progress. 'From our side, we're very excited by what we've seen, especially from the youngsters. We wanted to play more than one game so that every player gets an opportunity to play,' Vilakazi said. Video Player is loading. Next Stay Close ✕ He added that the tournament was vital preparation ahead of their MTN8 quarter-final: 'We're working towards our MTN8 match next week as well as the start of the new season. "We have a way forward with a lot of players having left the club, some returning from loan, and others arriving. So for us, this was a successful experience and we're pleased with what we've done here.' Arrows, meanwhile, were bundled out early after a 3-2 quarter-final defeat to AmaZulu in a fiercely contested derby. Despite the result, assistant coach Musa Bilankulu praised the application of his players, particularly the new recruits adapting to their tactical approach. 'In terms of our preparations for the game, we expected it to be tough in all areas — on and off the ball. The players stuck to the tactical agreements we had prior to the game and I was even more impressed with the new signings,' said Bilankulu. While the day belonged to Richards Bay, the tournament offered valuable insight into the readiness of KZN's top sides before the competitive action resumes in August. For coach Ronnie Gabriel and his team, lifting silverware on home turf could just be the spark needed for a season to remember.

Orlando Pirates transfer news: Bafana Bafana defender
Orlando Pirates are believed to be monitoring rising TS Galaxy star Khulumani Ndamane as they prepare for potential reinforcements ahead of the new season. The 21-year-old centre-back enjoyed a breakthrough campaign, becoming one of the standout performers in the Betway Premiership, and Orlando Pirates did not miss that. Despite having another exceptional youngster in Mbekezeli Mbokazi (19) in the same left-central defence position, Orlando Pirates, have reportedly identified Ndamane as a promising prospect with long-term potential, especially if Mbokazi earns a move abroad. Kaizer Chiefs transfer news: Bafana's new goalkeeper Orlando Pirates target and TS Galaxy star Khulumani Ndamane during his impressive Bafana Bafana debut against Tanzania at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in June 2025. Image: @ According to this report, the Buccaneers could compete with Babina Noko for Ndamane's signature. 'There are two clubs that have shown interest in the defender,' a source told Soccer Laduma . 'Yes, there was interest from Europe, but I can't say what really happened, but the enquiries from Orlando Pirates and Sekhukhune United are what stands out at the moment. Orlando Pirates signings impress teammates 'So let's wait and see what happens next on Ndamane,' the insider told Soccer Laduma . A second insider said: 'As much as there has been interest and enquiries, it's believed that Galaxy are making sure they hold onto him but since this is football, anything could happen. 'But if there is an overseas club that comes through, then that would be the first priority,' he concluded. Chiefs' Nabi remains positive despite Toyota Cup loss
'We had opportunities to win the game during the 90 minutes, and during the penalties, but we missed them,' said the Chiefs head coach. Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi watched his side lose on penalties to Asante Kotoko in the Toyota Cup in Durban on Saturday. P{cture: Gerhard Duraan/BackpagePix Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi remains positive Kaizer Chiefs are on the right path, despite defeat in the Toyota Cup to Asante Kotoko on Saturday at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban. Chiefs miss chances Kotoko beat Chiefs 3-2 in a penalty shootout after the game finished goalless, with Amakhosi guilty of wasting many opportunities to put the game to bed in 90 minutes. ALSO READ: Chiefs pay the penalty as Kotoko win Toyota Cup Their best chance came a few minutes before the end of the match, captain Inacio Miguel missing after Chiefs were awarded a controversial penalty. After a chaotic penalty shootout, it was the unfortunate Miguel whose penalty was saved by Kotoko 'keeper Mohamed Camara to seal victory for the visitors. 'I think it was a game that was very instructive,' Nabi told SABC Sport. 'We came up with a lot of answers in terms of what we have been doing (in pre-season) and what we need to do going forward. It was a positive performance overall. 'We had opportunities to win the game during the 90 minutes, and during the penalties, but we missed them. We wanted to offer our supporters victory and finish the day with joy. But penalties are unpredictable.' Chiefs certainly gave an improved display on Saturday compared to their 4-0 hammering in the Toyota Cup by Tanzanian side Young Africans last year. Following on from a pre-season in the Netherlands, they may well have been taken aback by a poor, bumpy surface in Durban, especially compared to the smooth pitches they played on in Europe. Even with this situation, Chiefs still put up a decent showing, especially in the second half, when they really should have seen off Kotoko with the opportunities they created. 'The right direction' 'I am very positive we are going in the right direction,' added Nabi, whose side will play their first Betway Premiership match of the new season against Stellenbosch on August 10. It is very important for us to look where the problems are honestly, and at where the quality is. We can then push to improve the quality and correct the negative points.'
