What Happened Today on Bold and the Beautiful July 3: Loony Luna Got the Upper Hand!

The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Thursday, July 3 saw Grace racing to get Liam to agree to treatment, Sheila placing a panicked call to Finn, and Steffy walking into the line of fire! At the Cliff House, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Taylor (Rebecca Budig) worried about the fortune teller and hoped Ms, Dylan would have answers. The whole thing is weird and Steffy didn't have a good feeling. Steffy's gut was right. While she was mildly panicked, poor Ms. Dylan was staring down the barrel of Luna's (Lisa Yamada) gun. She begged Luna not to hurt her or Steffy and Luna took out rope and began tying her up. Before long, Ms. Dylan was bound, gagged, and shoved into the closet. WATCH THIS: Did you know SoapHub has a podcast?! Check it out here! Steffy left Finn a message before taking off to the Beach House. When she got there, she called out for Ms. Dylan but was treated to a face-to-face with Luna instead. Luna wasted no time taunting Steffy and showing off her own little fortune teller. Oh, yes, she's Sunshine…the friend who little Hayes likes so much. With that, Luna pulled out her gun and demanded Steffy listen up and listen good. Step-mommy is going to let her see Daddy…and if she balks, it will be the last thing she ever does. Poor Steffy stood there wide-eyed and in shock. At the same time, Sheila (Kimberlin brown) replayed Luna's threats against Steffy and grew increasingly on edge over her wayward granddaughter's state of mind. She got so wound up, she grabbed her phone and tried desperately to call FInn. She left him another message begging for him to call her back. It's important, she said. It's about Luna. MORE: Find out what's coming up next on B&B! Sheila decided she wasn't taking any chances and made a mad dash for the Cliff House. Taylor was shocked when she banged on the door but let Sheila in when she frantically said it was about Luna. She had information about her granddaughter that Steffy and Finn had to hear. It wasn't just Taylor who was about to get a shock. Sheila was thrown off when she heard about Luna pulling a gun on Will (Crew Morrow). That was another turning point for Sheila. Luna was more dangerous than she imagined. Over at the hospital, Grace (Cassandra Creech) worried to Finn (Tanner Novlan) that Liam's (Scott Clifton) time would soon come to an end. There was a treatment that could extend his life and she was hoping he'd take it, despite the horrific side effects. Grace asked Finn to talk him into it as it was their only hope to help him, especially since the tumour has grown. During their meeting, Grace's phone kept dinging as text after text came in. While she tried to maintain her professionalism and keep the talk to Liam, it was clear something was going on in her life. It became harder and harder to ignore the influx of messages. Eventually, she picked up the phone and told whomever was texting her that she can't talk right now. Finn, seeing her stressed, offered a listening ear…and a day off to deal with her personal dramas. Meanwhile, Liam showed up in the design room to see Hope (Annika Noelle). Liam shared his concerns for his family and how much he'd worry for them until his dying breath. Hope begged him once again to tell the rest of the family. Everyone had a right to know and Liam had a right to support. Their convo was interrupted for a hot second when Liam's alarm went off to remind him to take his meds. The meds prescribed by Grace. And yes, he takes them on time every time since he wants to stick around as long as he can. Got a sizzling fan theory? Email amber@ — yours could be our next hot topic!

They want Will and Electra to be aware of the extra security that will be around because of Luna since Electra watches Steffy and Finn's kids. Meanwhile, Luna (Lisa Yamada) is in her apartment and can't believe Steffy is keeping her from her father. There's a knock at the door. It's Sheila (Kimberlin Brown), who isn't thrilled to be there even though Luna is. Katie (Heather Tom) asks Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) about an interview, but she can tell Brooke is distracted by Nick. She asks if he's still in LA? Katie knows Nick wants her back. Brooke says they have kept in touch over the years, mainly through their son Jack, but that's it. Deacon (Sean Kanan) gives Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Taylor (Rebecca Budig) menus and Deacon makes a joke about Hope getting her job back being the reason they got a table. Taylor wants to talk to Ridge about something important. Katie reminds Brooke they were very close and they still keep in touch. Brooke says she's still in love with Ridge and always will be. Taylor wants to talk to Ridge about their future. Nick (Jack Wagner) walks in and sits down, unseen, as Taylor talks about living at Eric's house and wants to know what's next. Luna greets Sheila. Sheila asks if Luna needs help packing, but Luna isn't leaving LA. Luna says she has nowhere to go and no one to turn to. Sheila promises to help, but Luna says she's not a stalker. Chief Baker (Dan Martin) arrives in Malibu to talk about keeping Luna away from Steffy. He's frustrated that her record has been wiped clean so they can't charge her with anything. Finn asks if they could lock her up if they could prove that Luna is planning to come after Steffy? Katie says losing the company was too much for Ridge, but Brooke says she tried to keep him in the loop. Taking the CEO position was a betrayal, she says, but Katie points out that he left her for Taylor. Brooke knows that Ridge loves her, especially after being on the runway with him. Nick is working from his table, but he can't help but listen in as Taylor says that she'd live anywhere with Ridge, even if it means living in his father's house. Ridge wants to know what's going on and why she's being so evasive. Luna says she's not a threat anymore but her family can't see her because of Steffy. Sheila tells Luna that unconditional love is her allowing Finn to live his life even though she can't see him. Luna doesn't think it's fair, adding that she's been staying away from everyone… that is everyone except that 'hot' Will Spencer. She sends him a text. Finn says Luna has been showing up at the house, but that's not enough to arrest her. Baker thinks Luna will be more cautious with all of the attention she's under, but Finn doesn't want to wait for her to snap. Steffy says there's no way to trap her. Will gets a text and says there might be a way to trap Luna. Brooke thinks Ridge is with Taylor because he feels 'obligated' to be with her. Brooke can't just stop feeling the way she does, but she's never felt happier being in someone's arms. 'Ridge always comes back,' she says. She fondly thinks back to their reunions in the past. 'I believe that he will come back to me again.' Ridge asks if Taylor is worried that he doesn't want Brooke to get together with Nick. Taylor says they've been together for a while and she wants to know what kind of a commitment he's ready to make. Sheila asks about Luna's infatuation with Will. She spots an origami crane on her desk and Luna says making them helps her stay distracted from her father. Will shows he got another text from Luna, a selfie she sent. Electra says she's been 'throwing herself' at Will, calling Luna is obsessed with Will. Will says he can wear a wire and get Luna to admit she's out to get Steffy, allowing Baker to arrest her. Baker says it's a dangerous idea, and Steffy and Finn want to be sure Will understands the risk. Will says that even if Luna can figure out what's going on, Baker can come in behind him and arrest her. Will insists. He texts Luna that she has a nice tattoo and that he wants to see it in person because he broke up with Electra. Luna gets the text and is so excited. Sheila listens to her, but she's skeptical. In Malibu, Baker makes the arrangements as Will gets another text from Luna with her address. Steffy hopes Luna doesn't catch on. Will holds Electra and says that when this all works, they won't have to worry about Luna ever again. Katie is worried about her sister. Brooke says Ridge has been with Taylor for a while and she's asked him to come back. He hasn't returned to her yet, but she's confident he will. So long as he doesn't make a mistake. Ridge reminds Taylor that they're already living as a couple. She tells him that she woke up beside him this morning and 'she knew' what to do. Nick listens in as Taylor talks about their past and how she sees their future together as 'husband and wife.' Ridge is stunned as Taylor asks him to marry him as Nick's expression turns smug. Ridge is distracted by the whole situation with Luna. Meanwhile, Katie (Heather Tom) is furious at Will (Crew Morrow) for doing something so stupid. Electra (Laneya Grace) agrees it was scary to watch, but it worked, and they have all the proof they needed to get Luna arrested. Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) finds Luna (Lisa Yamada) in her leather murder outfit. She's hiding in Sheila's apartment, and she doesn't understand how the police can arrest her for making threats. Luna is still upset about Will, but she's thinking about the taste of what life could have been with Will. All of it was taken away by Steffy. At art school, Miss Dylan (Sydney Bullock) tells Hayes (Bryan David Garlick) that they might have a visit from the nice lady who taught them about origami. Katie is terrified about Will being in such a dangerous situation. She can't believe Luna pulled a gun on him. Will apologizes for upsetting his mother so much as Electra looks on, shaken. Ridge asks about the plan. Steffy says the plan worked, sort of. Luna mentioned having a plan and she had a gun, but Baker needs more information. Steffy hopes they find her. Luna keeps ranting and raving about Steffy using Will to trap her. Sheila reminds her that no one forced her to say the horrible things about Steffy to Will. She's trying to protect Luna, but Luna says Sheila is going to get her wish after all. She's going to leave LA and she's never coming back, but there's one thing she needs to do first. Katie tells Will that he doesn't owe Steffy anything, and it's not his job to get Luna to admit she's going to target Steffy. Will says he did it because of Electra, but Katie is upset at Electra for letting him go in the first place. When Electra mentions Luna kissing him, Katie asks if that's all Electra is upset about. Will admits it was scary, but it was worth it to tell her that she was going right back to prison. But the gun made it all very real. Sheila says leaving is a good decision. She asks if she can help Luna, and when Luna says it's best if she works alone, Sheila asks what she's planning. Luna says it's 'logistical stuff.' Luna promises to let Sheila know where she lands, which leads Sheila to hug her one more time. She tells her granddaughter that she loves her and to be careful. Luna says she'll be somewhere else, living her best life. As she leaves, she says leaving LA will be hard because she dreamed of so much. 'But hey, at least I'm going out with a bang,' she adds. This makes Sheila even more concerned. Ridge is on the phone with Baker, expressing how concerned he is. When he gets off the phone, he says Baker has promised that he will keep them updated. Steffy is already concerned about the kids, and she's trying to shield them. Luna stakes out the beach house in her green leather murderwear. She spots Hayes and smiles to herself. Katie can't stop thanking God that Will is ok. She says he's so lucky that he got out, but Will isn't so sure. Luna is out there right now because he provoked her. Katie reminds him that Luna had a gun, and she begs him to think about what it would have done to her if he'd been hurt. She knows he runs into burning buildings because he's Bill's son. Will promises that if he ever sees Luna again, she's going to be in jail because he put her there. 'I'm safe,' he tells Katie. 'I love you.' Taylor knows Steffy wants to shield the kids, but she suggests that Steffy prepare the kids in case Luna shows up. Steffy wants to preserve their innocence as long as she can, just like she wants her parents to celebrate this exciting time. Not worrying about Luna. Remy (Christian Weissman) is at Il Giardino thinking about Luna. He hasn't heard from her lately, so he texts her while he's thinking about showing her how to use the gun. He wonders where she is. Luna is at the beach house, watching Hayes and Ms. Dylan. Luna walks in, and Ms. Dylan greets her as 'Miss Sunshine.' Hayes greets her, and Luna smiles at him. 'Ready to have some fun?' she asks. After Katie leaves, Electra asks if Will would ever try to fight Luna. She's glad it's over and he's safe. 'I'm safe for now,' he promises her. Remy can't stop thinking about Luna using Steffy's face as a target. Sheila sees him and says Deacon doesn't really want him there. When he asks about Luna, he says he's been trying to track her down. He's worried about her, and he can tell Sheila is worried, too. Taylor says they have the rest of their lives to celebrate, but Ridge needs to focus on protecting her from Luna. Steffy just wants to think about happy things like a wedding cake. Taylor blames Bill for Luna being out, but Ridge says Sheila and Luna are in Steffy's life because of Finn. Steffy immediately becomes defensive and says Finn had no control over that. Steffy thinks Luna will be caught soon enough. Luna shows off the paper art creations. She shows Hayes how to fold the paper, and once he finishes it, he says he wants to show his mom, who loved the crane. Luna offers to make something special for his mom, vowing that she'll be 'blown away.' While Luna smiles at Hayes, Steffy says Luna will never harm them again. Hayes frowns when Luna's face goes from a smile to a scowl. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS and the following day on Paramount Plus.
