Amanda Holden, 54, sends fans wild with her latest bikini pics

Daily Mirror08-06-2025
Amanda Holden sent fans wild as she stripped down to a tiny pink bikini in her latest social media video. The 54-year-old Britain's Got Talent judge donned matching pink heels to strut around a swimming pool on the Spanish holiday island of Majorca.
Looking more like she was walking down a catwalk, the age-defying broadcaster and actress looked tanned and toned as her long blonde hair billowed behind her in the short clip, as Calvin Harris' latest track Blessings played over the top.
In the caption, Amanda revealed she was in Majorca to film an ad campaign for Revive Collagen. She wrote: "Shooting a new campaign for @revivecollagen #mallorca," before revealing her bikini was by swimwear brand Melissa Odabash, which is loved by celebrities.
And fans couldn't quite believe what they were seeing, as one wrote in the comments: "Imagine being in your 50's and looking that good in a bikini," as another replied: "Right?" As many more posted heart and flame emojis, a third said: "Looking fabulous!!!" A fourth declared her "perfection", as a fifth commented "what a body." A sixth joked: "Look amazing, wish I could walk in those shoes!"
Her celebrity pals were equally in awe. Ex-EastEnders' star Jo Joyner wrote: "You're ridiculously hot" followed by a flame emoji. "There she is," said former The Only Way Is Essex star Sam Faiers. Vicky Pattinson simply wrote: "AMANDA!!!!" with four flame emojis. While her Heart FM co-star, former Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts commented: "Jheeez."
It comes days after Amanda went 'naked' during her radio show following yet more Ofcom complaints about her outfits on Britain's Got Talent. Her appearance even made her co-host Jamie Theakston do a double take.
As she sat in her DJ chair on Thursday morning, Amanda said on air: "Good morning, Mr Theakston. It is 6.30am and I've just caught myself on the camera and don't you think I look naked this morning? Sat behind here?" Jamie replied: "Do you know what... you are wearing clothes, aren't you?"
But though it looked like she might not be, Amanda was in fact just wearing a pink strapless dress which wasn't visible behind her monitor. Joking about her choice of outfit for the day, Amanda said: "I just looked [at myself] and went, 'What? Have I forgotten to put my clothes on?'"
Amanda's BGT finale dress, which looked almost bridal in a white silk fabric with a low cut front, wasn't a hit with some viewers at home who complained that both her and co-star Alesha Dixon's frocks were "too revealing for a family show". Ofcom revealed they'd received 72 complaints in total.
But thought she is regularly under fire for her risque outfits, Amanda has vowed to never tone down her fashion choices. In July 2017, Amanda wore a plunging see-through Julien Macdonald dress, which went on to be the most complained about TV moment of the year.
She's previously revealed how all her outfits are checked before she goes on stage and joked there's an even a 't*t committee' who tell her whether she's alright to wear a dress or not.
"There's a whole body of people that knock on my door and come and stare at my chest before we go on air," she shared. "There's a t*t committee. There are so many brilliant people, they come down, knock on the door and there's the lady, who's the producer, who says, 'Mandy, it looks great'."
In another interview, Amanda told Closer magazine: "I'm always asked about the Ofcom complaints, but every outfit on the show is checked before I leave my dressing room, so I'm never worried. I think people should have fun with fashion!"
On her most complained about dress, she added: "It's all quite laughable, but all everyone seems to talk about. It's been called another national crisis – but, oh no, I will not be covered up."

Amanda Holden flaunts her jaw-dropping figure in a stylish orange bikini during family getaway in Greece

Amanda Holden showed off her incredible figure in an orange bikini as she continued to soak up the sun in Greece on Thursday. The TV personality, 54, wowed fans as she struck a sultry pose on the edge of an infinity pool during her family holiday. In snaps shared to her Instagram, Amanda looked sensational in the skimpy two-piece from Melissa Odabash, which consisted of a wrap-around bikini top and matching tie-side bottoms. Flaunting her tanned and toned figure, she opted for further accessorising her poolside look with a beige wide-brim hat and a pair of black shades. She captioned the sizzling snaps: 'Soaking it all up ☀️.' The bikini-clad snap comes shortly after Amanda showed off her enviable figure in a yellow string bikini on Wednesday. In a snap shared to her Instagram Story, Amanda looked incredible in the skimpy two-piece as she posed on a luxurious boat during her lavish trip. It comes after Amanda revealed her youngest daughter, Hollie, 13, has landed her first runway show, walking in London Fashion Week later this year. The radio presenter recently joked she is the new Kris Jenner as her two lookalike daughters are now following in her showbiz footsteps. Hollie will make her catwalk debut alongside model and university student sister Lexi, 19, who is already signed to Storm Models. When Amanda spoke with MailOnline at Claridge's hotel in London, she revealed that Hollie had 'no idea' that she had bagged her first modelling gig, as the presenter had 'literally only just heard' about it minutes before sitting down for the interview. She said: 'Lexi's good, she's sort of dipped her toe in and she's done a couple of photoshoots. She is loving university as well, but what she doesn't like doing is taking time off, so I think she'll work it out, but it's something she's enjoying. 'She's doing London Fashion Week again in September and we've actually just heard that Hollie is going to be doing it as well.' Amanda continued: 'It's definitely something I think Hollie is going to enjoy, she's going to die when I tell her she's doing London Fashion Week this year. 'I literally just heard she got it and she's gone for the week with my mum in Cornwall, so I'll have to ring her after. She joked: 'With both girls doing it, I do feel like Kris Jenner now. We need our own reality show. Oh my god, yeah here we go, I could see that.' Despite the TV star's hopes of a family reality show, which could follow her daughter's nepo baby friends, including Simon Cowell's son Eric and Alesha Dixon's daughter Azura, Amanda's daughter Lexi 'wouldn't want to be on camera'. She revealed: 'But one of my daughters would do [a TV show] but Lexi wouldn't want to be on camera, that's irony, whereas Hollie would, definitely.' Amanda added that teenager Hollie currently loves coming to Britain's Got Talent as she is 'put to work' as a runner and causes 'mayhem' with Simon's son Eric. She said: 'She loves coming with me to Britain's Got Talent, she makes Simon his ginger tea, she likes to be a little runner, so when she comes, they put her to work. 'She likes the crew hoodie, the snacks, she delivers snacks to the desk, goes around with Eric, creating absolute mayhem behind the scenes, god knows what they get up to anyway. 'She doesn't watch any of the show, though, although she did when she decided to press the golden buzzer anyway. She didn't get a slap on the wrist because Eric was with her, so that's all good.'

Cat behaviourist explains surprising reason your pet might be biting you

While cats are unable to communicate with humans directly, they have come up with several ways to get their thoughts and feelings across, even if it might not always be clear If you've ever spent time with a cat, you'll know they often have a mind of their own and will do their best to communicate any thoughts to you. ‌ Even though we can't converse directly with our feline friends, cats have adapted their body language and signals to interact with humans. A prime example is meowing, as cats only meow at humans and their kittens. However, a less endearing but more serious method they use to express their feelings to humans is by gently biting or nibbling on us. While it might be uncomfortable, they usually don't mean any harm. ‌ Amanda Campion, a seasoned clinical feline behaviourist with over three decades of experience with cats, revealed the most common reasons your cat might nibble on you, and what it could signify. Particularly when it occurs while they're also purring and licking you. ‌ "Bite, lick, purr - what's that all about? What's the deal with this mixed message? If you've got a cat that licks you and then bites you, what are they trying to say?" Amanda asked at the start of her TikTok video. "So, grooming within the species involves licking and yes, biting," Amanda clarified. ‌ She continued: "Gentle biting and it's love bites, it's affection, and it's a way of transferring scent onto their other preferred individual, someone that they've got a very close bond with, or another cat in the home. It could even be a dog." However, she went on to explain other reasons your cat might gently bite you, including letting you know how it's feeling in that moment. Amanda explained: "Biting may be overstimulation, and then it's followed by a lick, which is their way of saying 'oh, sorry'. It can be a way that they're playing with you as they would do with another cat. And some cats will actually bite first to initiate attention and interaction. ‌ "And if you've been petting them, and then they bite, it could be 'that's enough now, thank you'. So look at the body cues as well, because the bite won't be the first cue that they've given you, that will be the last." She went on to clarify it could also be related to the feline attempting to groom you. Given that cats are extremely meticulous about their cleanliness and frequently dedicate considerable time ensuring they're spotless, moggies also assist in grooming one another - and this extends to attempting to groom their human companions. "It can also be grooming mimicry, especially if you've been touching them a lot, like I'm stroking Eska here. It would be quite normal for him to turn around and lick me. That's his way of initiating his part of the grooming deal. "So learn to know your cat's cues before it escalates. Bite then lick or lick then bite - which way around is your cat?" she said at the end of the video.

ITV ramps up cost cutting as profits fall

The group behind hit TV shows including Britain's Got Talent and Love Island said it was slashing costs by another £15 million, on top of £30 million previously announced, with spend on content being trimmed. It reported a 44% drop in underlying pre-tax profits to £99 million for the six months to June 30, down sharply from £178 million a year ago. Operating profits were 44% lower at £76 million. But ITV said cost-cutting actions would help offset a tough advertising market. 'While the economic environment remains uncertain, we now expect a better outturn for the full year 2025, driven by these cost efficiencies,' it said. Shares lifted 9% in morning trading on Thursday Total advertising revenues fell 7% in the first half after a 12% plunge between April and June, although it said the half-year fall was better than feared. It expects ad revenues to be down 'marginally' in the third quarter, 'reflecting the tough comparative from the final knockout matches of the men's Euros in July 2024'. Carolyn McCall, ITV chief executive, said: 'ITV is now a leaner, more digital business in a strong position to compete and succeed in a changing market. 'We are on track to deliver our 2026 key financial targets, with sustained good growth in ITV Studios and ITVX coupled with strategic cost management as we reshape our cost base to reflect the dynamics of the industry in which we operate.' The group flagged using technology among efforts to drive the latest round of cost cutting. It said on unveiling full-year results in March that it had been able to strip out £60 million of costs in 2024, £10 million more than first forecast. At the time, the group said there would not be any impact on jobs this year from the cost savings after its overhaul saw it shed more than 220 roles in 2024, largely from its media and entertainment division.
