Surprise Scoop, New York City's first roulette ice cream shop, won't let customers know the flavor until they try it.
Wendy's is celebrating a fellow Ohioan's big birthday with free Frostys for all (who make a purchase).
The fast-food chain, which was founded and is headquartered in the Buckeye State, is observing the Goodyear Blimp's 100th birthday, another Ohio icon, on June 3 with an exclusive in-app deal.
The offer is only redeemable up until 12:01 a.m. local time on June 4 at participating Wendy's locations across the country.
"And unlike the blimp, this offer isn't full of hot air; we're seriously serving up the coolest treat in town, no strings (or helium) attached," according to a press release from Wendy's.
Here's how to redeem the offer.
How to get a free Frosty from Wendy's
All customers have to do redeem the deal is purchase a menu item on the Wendy's app. You can download the Wendy's Rewards app through the Apple or Google Play Store. App download and account registration is required.
Additional details about the offer can be found on the Wendy's App.
Wendy's unveils Frosty Swirls, Frosty Fusions
Wendy's has given its iconic Frosty dessert a facelift in the last few months, offering customers the ability to add sauce or mix-ins to their classic soft-serve. The new Frosty variants are known as Frosty Swirls and Frosty Fusions.
Customers can choose between a classic Vanilla or Chocolate Frosty and can then choose between three sauces: Strawberry Frosty Swirl, Caramel Frosty Swirl or Brownie Batter Swirl.
Frosty Fusions, like the Frosty Swirls, allow sauce but customers may also add mix-ins for "extra flavor to the silky-smooth Vanilla or Chocolate Frosty."
The three Frosty Fusion flavors, which have been available since May 12, include:
Pop-Tarts Strawberry Frosty Fusion: Combines Wendy's Frosty and sweet strawberry sauce with chunks of strawberry-flavored Pop-Tarts Crunch Poppers pieces.

Buffalo Wild Wings' Bottomless Apps are back: When does it end?

Appetizer culture is alive and thriving after Buffalo Wild Wings launched its latest appetizer deal. The wing chain began offering Bottomless Apps starting at $9.99 since June 27 for parties of four or less. Parties of five or more will have an additional upcharge, the company clarified last month. The deal will be around through August while supplies last, a Buffalo Wild Wings spokesperson told USA TODAY. The deal allows guests to devour endless rounds of two appetizers at a time from Onion Rings, Mozzarella Sticks and Fried Pickles to Hatch Queso and Chips & Salsa. The limited-time offer is available all day for dine-in customers at participating locations, though the company warned prices may be higher in five states, including California, New York, Oregon, Washington, Hawaii and Alaska. When did Buffalo Wild Wings start all-you-can-eat appetizers? The $9.99 endless appetizer deal, which started in June, comes after the chain brought back its beloved and limited-time all-you-can-eat deals on wings and fries in April. Dine-in customers nationwide had the option to enjoy endless boneless wings and fries for $19.99, and the deal allowed use of brand's 26 sauces and dry rubs. The chain also offers a $24.99 option for customers ordering traditional or mix and match wings. Contributing: Gabe Hauari, USA TODAY

Oreo brings back fan-favorite flavor after 8-year hiatus

There are many types of cookies out there, from chocolate chip to sugar; however, only one is known by its brand name rather than the type of cookie it is. Although it needs no introduction, Oreo is one of the most popular sandwich cookies worldwide. Don't miss the move: Subscribe to TheStreet's free daily newsletter The cookie brand has developed over 85 different flavors since its inception in 1912, when it was first produced in the Chelsea Market in Manhattan, New York. Related: Oreo launches six new flavors, returns a fan-favorite for 2025 Although Oreo is mainly known for its original chocolate wafer with vanilla creme, it has launched multiple offerings, with some becoming permanent additions, others being seasonal regulars, and a few getting completely discontinued. There are various factors Oreo takes into account when choosing which flavors to make, keep, and discontinue. However, sometimes the reason is entirely unknown, especially when a flavor is so beloved. Image Source: NurPhoto/Getty Images Oreo, owned by Mondelez International (MDLZ) , first launched the Blueberry Pie Oreo cookie in June 2016 as a limited edition flavor and, due to its popularity, re-released it in 2017. The Blueberry Pie Oreo features blueberry creme sandwiched between two graham cracker-flavored cookies. Although a success among fans, the cookie giant discontinued this flavor after it was last made available to the public, never to be seen again on grocery store shelves. However, eight years later, Oreo had a sudden change of heart. Due to popular demand, Oreo is returning the fan-favorite Blueberry Pie Oreo cookie. The Blueberry Pie Oreo will be available for a limited time on July 7 at grocery stores nationwide. For those who registered, the pre-sale begins June 30. Oreo made a social media post to announce the return of the discontinued Blueberry Pie flavor with the caption, "You win. Now please stop yelling at us." Netizens quickly bombarded Oreo's comments section with their opinions on the relaunch after an eight-year hiatus. A user commented, "Dreams do come true!!!" Another user wrote, "Summer just got solved." A Blueberry Pie Oreo lover expressed their excitement, commenting, "I've been waiting for this ALMOST 10 YEARS!!!" International Oreo fans also took over the comments section, requesting the Blueberry Pie flavor be available in their home countries. Wendy's adds old-school toys to take on McDonald's Happy Meal

As little kids, nothing was better than getting a "free" toy with your food. It didn't matter if the toy was a simple collectible baseball card inside a cereal box or an exclusive Tamagotchi inside a McDonald's Happy Meal. Don't miss the move: Subscribe to TheStreet's free daily newsletter Sometimes, we would only take a few bites of the food, because at the end of the day, we were too distracted playing with our new toy to eat, unless you had strict parents who wouldn't allow you to open the toy until you had finished all your food. Nonetheless, kids are very persuasive, and because many restaurants and fast-food chains know kids love receiving a surprise with their meal, they have invested time and resources into launching exciting limited-time toys. Related: McDonald's brings back experimental menu item 13 years later As the pioneer of the fast-food kids' meal trend, it's no surprise that McDonald's sells over 1 billion Happy Meals annually worldwide, which accounts for a big part of its sales. Others have followed in the fast-food giant's footsteps by launching their own versions of the iconic Happy Meal, but none have yet to reach McDonald's fame. However, a long-time player has begun prioritizing its Kids' Meal by joining forces with a popular toy maker that kids love. Image source:Wendy's (WEN) is partnering with toy company Hasbro (HAS) to launch a new line of Kids' Meal toys featuring Potato Head, a beloved character from the Disney (DIS) film Toy Story. This new collection of toys comprises 12 different Potato Head characters dressed in various costumes. However, this launch is unlike any others, because Wendy's is giving customers two toys, which can be mixed and matched, per meal purchased. Related: McDonald's menu adds new version of a much-mocked classic This move might be a savvy way for the fast-food chain to encourage people to visit Wendy's more often. If each purchase comes with a different set, collecting all six would only take six visits or six Kids' Meals. The new Wendy's Potato Head Kids' Meal collection is available for a limited time at all participating U.S. and Canadian restaurants while supplies last. Wendy's knows consumers' budgets have been a bit tighter due to the current uncertain economy. So the fast-food chain has unlocked a new in-app deal to make purchasing a kids' meal more affordable for parents. The Wendy's Kids' Meal includes a choice of a hamburger, cheeseburger, four-piece original chicken nuggets, or four-piece spicy chicken nuggets.
