Following this success, it has now been reported that the film will be remade in Tamil. As per Nakkheeran, actor and director Thiagarajan has acquired the rights for the Tamil remake of 'Court'. It is said that actor Prashanth will reprise Priyadarshi's role, while actress Devyani's daughter Priyanka and producer Kathiresan's son Krithik will play the lead roles in the remake.

However, as the weekdays set in, the film's collection appears to be declining. Kingdom Movie Review According to early estimates from Sacnilk, Kingdom earned around Rs 2.25 crore net on its fifth day (Monday), across all languages in India. With this, the film's total Indian net collection stands at an estimated Rs 43.15 crore after five days. While the opening weekend numbers were impressive, with Day 1 minting over Rs 18 crore, Day 2 Rs 7.5 crore, Day 3 Rs 8 crore, Day 4 Rs 7.4 crore and Day 5 Rs 2.25 crore. The makers of the film on social media shared that the film has collected over Rs 82 crore worldwide. Theatre occupancy 'Kingdom,' which had a strong start in the Telugu states, saw a noticeable decline in theatre occupancy on Monday. As per data, the film registered an overall Telugu occupancy of 16.38% on August 4. Here's how the numbers played out across the day, morning shows: 13.67%, afternoon shows: 17.69%, evening shows: 15.71% and night shows: 18.44%. Though night shows performed slightly better, the overall occupancy suggests a fairly common weekday slump. In Tamil Nadu, the film's performance has been relatively modest since its release. On Monday, Kingdom recorded an overall Tamil occupancy of just 11.39%. The breakdown across the day is as follows morning shows: 9.99%, afternoon shows: 12.02%, evening shows: 8.81% and night shows: 14.73%. About the film 'Kingdom' stars Vijay Deverakonda as Constable Surya 'Suri,' who goes undercover to topple a smuggling cartel in Sri Lanka, hoping to reunite with his estranged brother, Siva, played by Satyadev. Bhagyashri Borse plays the female lead, Dr. Madhu, who supports Suri in his mission. The film also features Ayyappa P Sharma and Venkitesh in key roles.

With a total collection now touching Rs 99.51 crore across all languages, the film is just shy of a major box office milestone. Powered by strong word-of-mouth and backed by a solid weekend push, the film's highest single-day figure so far came on its second Sunday, where it raked in a massive Rs 23.4 crore. Even Monday of the second week held decently at Rs 8.25 crore. However, Day 12 showed a sharp drop, with just Rs 1 lakh reported so far. Actor Shanavas, son of Prem Nazir passes away at 71

As reported by Manorama Online, he had been undergoing treatment for kidney-related ailments at a private hospital and breathed his last around midnight, a few hours after being admitted. Shanavas was living in a flat near Akashvani, Vazhuthacaud. Carving a path of his own Shanavas entered the film industry in 1981 with 'Premageethangal', directed by Balachandra Menon, while pursuing his MA in English Literature at New College, Chennai. He was then just a student with a famous surname, but over time, he carved out his own identity. Shanavas acted in 96 films across Malayalam and Tamil, with roles ranging from romantic leads to complex villains in a career spanning over four decades.
